Race 1 - 50000CLM Trot
(6) FOR A DREAMER finished a solid second to a razor-sharp foe in Willy Walton last week. He gets away from that rival tonight and merits another opportunity. (3) JIVE NINETY FIVE has hit the board in four of his last five tries and was hampered by an outside post the last time he competed at this level. (5) EMOTIONS RICHES had to work hard to get to the lead on October 15 and paid the price in the lane as he faded. He does show two wins in this class on his page, so he's capable of a quick rebound.

Race 2 - 3&4YO 40000CLM Pace
(1) ROSE RUN X-CON makes his second start after a brief layoff and flashed 28 1/5 closing speed after taking a shuffle last week. He also drew the pole to help his cause. (2) HURRIKANE GEORGIE finally gets away from Ship Wreck Beach K this time and moves inside on the gate. (4) FORREST BLU drops out of the NW6 class. He was a good fourth in his most recent try at that level.
Race 3 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Trot
(6) EXCHEQUER has a goose egg in the win column this year, but he shows some decent efforts against NW4's and drops to the bottom level here. He should have some value, too. (2) R HERBIE BLUE CHIP gets post relief tonight in his second attempt against NW5000L5's. (1) JUST MAYBE THE ONE has the class relief/better post combo going for him as he had the eight-hole and was in against NW7500L5's most recently.
Race 4 - F&M NW4/58415LT Pace
(3) DOC'S DELIGHT roared home to finish in the runner-up spot a week ago. That was her local appearance since coming in from The Red Mile, and I'll look for her to build on that tonight. (5) WAITFOREVER N couldn't get involved from off-the-pace last Wednesday but did close well. She's shown much more early foot in her other tries, so a change in tactics could be coming tonight. (2) BLUEBERRY SHAKE exits the same event my top two picks do and has post relief in this spot. She's also back on a regular schedule after having a gap before last week.
Race 5 - NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Trot
(7) MUSCLES FOR LIFE invades from Ohio where he was victorious two back and then was a close second in a fast mile most recently. (3) CASINO CUTIE IT scored her last win in this class on September 10 and returns to it here after facing better since then. (1) ROGER RABBIT finished fifth at this level a week ago. I could see him improving tonight as he makes his second local try for Scott Di Domenico.
Race 6 - 3&4YO 40000CLM Pace
(6) SHIP WRECK BEACH K is the dominator in this class right now, and although he moves outside on the gate here, I think he'll get the job done again. (4) KOBRA KAI faded after having to do the first-over work a week ago but was third in his try before that with a covered trip. (1) BAY CITY has had no chance since coming back off the bench as he had post eight both times, but he landed the pole tonight.
Race 7 - 50000CLM Trot
(4) BLUEBIRD JESSE didn't fire last Wednesday but his two efforts before that were both good, and he'll probably offer a better price than he did most recently. (2) BIG BAD SWAN doesn't have to deal with the eight-hole here like he did a week ago and had a two race win streak in this class back in August and September. (3) IN MY DREAMS turned in an improved effort last week in his return to the Dennis Laterza barn and drew well again.

Race 8 - F&M NW2/25000LT Pace
(4) TRANS MEANIE broke early in her debut for trainer Lance Hudson a week ago, but I think it's a positive sign that she's right back in the box and from a better post too. She was second in the Iowa Fairs Championship before coming east. (5) ODDS ON HARMONY turned a pocket trip into a victory against NW2's a week ago and remains at the same level here. (2) ADDISON SEELSTER is much more usable underneath than on top given her one-for-22 lifetime record, and that's where I'll slot her.
Race 9 - 75000CLM Trot
(6) HAT TRICK MARLEAU enters with a third against NW30000L5's and a second against NW20000L5's in his last two tries, so he's in good form, and I think he could get overlooked some in the wagering as he drew outside the other logical ones. (2) WILLY WALTON is riding a four race win streak and deserves this chance against $75,000 claimers since he had dominated the $50,000 level. (5) HOMER HALL couldn't chase down Kandy Sweet last Wednesday, but it was still another good effort and he's been first or second in his last five tries.
