MEET STATS: 202 - 906 / $1,550.12 (-$262) BEST BETS: 45 - 91 / $191.04 (+$9.04) SPOT PLAYS: 8 - 91 / $92.50 (-$89.50) BEST BET - DAIQUIRI HANOVER (5th) SPOT PLAY - DONTTELLMENOW (8th) Race 1 - 3-6YO 20000CLM Pace (1) MY PLAYMATE GB won in this class on 10-23 and drops and moves inside after he took on open $20,000 claimers last Wednesday. (2) LOU'S BEACH has hit the board in five of his last six tries at this level and comes in off a victory a week ago. He also slides in from post five to the two-hole. (3) CELLMATE tallied the last time Jason Bartlett piloted him on October 14, and he returns to the bike tonight as he slides down from the 3-6YO $30,000 claimers. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - 20000CLM Pace (3) BLACK HAWK JOE A got the job done when he dropped to this level a week ago and I'll go back to him here as he races out of a stable that's been quite hot as of late. (4) TIN ROOF RAIDER A prevailed in this class on October 15 and moves in on the gate from the eight-hole to post four. (1) ALEX TYE went down the road to take a $20,000 claimer on 10-29 and is back with Joe Bongiorno off a re-claim. He also adds Bartlett in the bike from the pole. Race 3 - F&M NW2/30000LT / F&M NW39331LT who are NWL3 Starts Pace (6) DREAM SHOT missed a scheduled start last Wednesday but gained ground in a fourth-place finish prior to that, and I'll hope she's put in play from the outside. (1) GUMBELL was second to a well-meant winner a week ago. She makes her third start for trainer/driver Pat Lachance and starts from another inside post. (2) BE MY PRINCESS A disappointed at odds-on last week. She is a second-timer for leading trainer Per Engblom and went on Lasix when she joined his stable, so I could see improvement ahead. Race 4 - F&M Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60655LT Pace (1) BETTOR'S TICKET has had success in this class before and doesn't have anybody here as talented as the winner she was up against on 10-22 or 11-5 and had a trip excuse sandwiched in between there. She also starts from an inside post for the first time in a while. (3) WIN WITH LYNNLY won handily against NW2 company last Wednesday and moves in on the gate from the six-hole to post three. (2) JK PEARL STONE is just one-for-15 in the win column but comes east from Harrah's Hoosier Park out of stakes action and into a high-percentage stable. Race 5 - Winners of 5 but not more than 7 PM Races or 90000LT Trot (5) DAIQUIRI HANOVER invades from Kentucky out of the top level at Cumberland Run and was in the Allerage Farms Open Trot prior to that. His last win came in a similar class to this one at Pocono in late September. (4) GREEN MEL lost all chance a week ago when he broke on the first turn, but he was favored in that contest and was second in this class prior to that. (2) SUNDAY'S BRUNCH has missed a bit of time after a scratch on 10-29 but posted a trio of thirds since joining her current stable before that. Race 6 - F&M 20000CLM Pace Usually it's not a good sign when Bartlett picks off an Engblom trainee, but I'm going to try one here as (6) WHO'S PERFECT finished fourth against tougher $30,000 claimers last Tuesday and double-drops to the level where she won handily on October 21. (2) DISTANT LOVER was the one Bartlett chose, and her only recent off-the-board result came two back against $25,000 claiming company. She debuts for new connections off another claim. (1) FIGHT NOT FLIGHT grabbed a third from the eight-hole on 11-4 and now slides all the way back inside to the pole where she tallied from on 10-28. Race 7 - Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot (3) THEOBALD rebounded from a break two weeks ago to finish second to a stakes-caliber opponent last Wednesday. He makes his third start for trainer Ron Burke tonight, and I'll give him a chance on top. (1) YOU GUESSED IT miscue on October 15 but has prevailed in all of his other starts since joining this stable and going on Lasix. (2) KEWPIE DOLL exits stakes company at Cumberland Run and gets back on Lasix for Engblom. She had a three-race win streak at The Red Mile in September. Race 8 - 25000CLM Pace (3) DONTTELLMENOW was victorious the last time he raced against $25,000 claimers back on 10-15. He's faced tougher from bad posts in two subsequent efforts, but landed an inside draw here and is worth a shot. (3) KARLOO BRADLEY N won on the front-end when last seen on October 23 and hails from a stable that's been sending out a lot of live horses overall as of late. (7) LYONS BENJAMIN will have to overcome a tough post but scored at this level a week ago and teams up with Bartlett again. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9 - Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT / NW30000LT Draw Inside Trot (5) BIG SHOT never got involved a couple of weeks ago but was a good second when driven more aggressively prior to that. He gets a new pilot tonight with Colin Kelly taking over. (3) THE BRODSTER certainly can win for the Bartlett/Engblom team as he exits stakes action in the Midwest, but he's not a horse I'm interested in at odds-on given his struggles to find the winner's circle. (4) MARIN COUNTY is just two-for-25 lifetime but has hit the board in over half of his starts this season. I'll toss him in underneath. Race 10 - 15000CLM Pace (6) TAKE A CLOSER LOOK wound up fourth in his Yonkers return a week ago. Trainer Travis Alexander has had a lot of success with this horse in the past, and I'll look for some improvement tonight. (3) SOUTH POINT shows a couple of recent victories against $15,000 claiming company and led most of the way before he wound up second in his last try. (2) COLD CREEK FELIPE hasn't hit the board since his triumph on October 1 but this stable has been putting a lot of live horses on the track lately.
