Race 1 - 12500CLM Pace
(8) JUNIOR'S DEW moves all the way from post one to the eight-hole, but he won pretty handily on 9-28, and as you can see by his trainer's percentage, pretty much everything he's sending out is live. He also gets to keep his driver since Matt Kakaley is here tonight. (1) FOX VALLEY NEMITZ hit the board in his last try against $12,500 claimers here back in mid-August and gets a catch driver this time after racing in an amateur event at the Meadowlands most recently. (7) MOXLEY showed his second-place finish from the pole position was no accident as he rallied to take another runner-up result from post six a week ago. He was Jordan Stratton's choice of a couple.

Race 2 - NW5900L5/12500CLM Trot
(3) STINGLIKE A B K slides down to the bottom level tonight and also drew inside after having the eight-hole in his last pair. He also got the nod from Jason Bartlett over another. (2) LIMERENCE did come to life last week like I was hoping, but unfortunately couldn't chase down In My Dreams. He gets post relief here and a driver swap to Brent Holland as Steve Smith isn't competing. (5) MEADOWBRANCH RICKY gained spots and ground with a 27 4/5 final quarter in his last try at the Meadowlands and trainer Jenny Melander is having a very good campaign locally.

Race 3 - F&M NW2/25000LT Pace
(6) MARCED DEBUTANTE is another Iowa shipper that's come to Yonkers lately. These horses have way more victories than the condition, but because many of their victories, if not all of them, have been in non-wagering races, they still fit the class. Trainer Scott DiDomenico is particuarly good with these types, and I'll use. (2) EARLYBIRD SPECIAL gets to partner with Jordan Stratton this time. His brother Cory, who is the trainer, has been piloting her in all her appearances since coming south from Canada, so that may indicate she's ready for a strong effort. (1) MOZILLA shows finishing second in the NW4 class at The Meadows on 8-27 and gets the pole here after starting from a trailing spot last time out.
Race 4 - F&M NW4/50000LT Pace
(6) VIOLETS RAINBOW invades from Ohio into the very high percentage Jared Bako barn. Her form in the Buckeye State wasn't bad, and I'll give her a try. (2) SHE KNOWS IT ALL made the Ohio Sires Stakes final and won an Ohio Breeders Championship division, but she has just a two-for-29 win record, including three tries against NW2's at Scioto. I'll swing against for the win. (1) CATIE FAYE HANOVER was able to advance from eighth to fourth in the back-half of the mile a week ago and slides in from the eight-hole to the pole position.
Race 5 - 25000CLM Pace
(8) HAPPY TRIO prevailed two back in this claiming class and returns to it here after taking one shot against $30,000 foes. Obviously post eight is not ideal, but nobody in this field looks like a killer. (4) TOLLY-HO took some wagering action on 9-27 in his first start off the claim for DiDomenico, but he couldn't advance from sixth. He also moves out of the $30,000 claiming class. (2) TIME OUT I'M TIRED gets reunited with Stratton here from an inside post and did finish with some late interest a week ago.
Race 6 - NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Trot
(1) ZAGSTER has the post/class relief combo going for him here and is also going to change drivers to Stratton. (4) FASHION FOREVER moves up from the NW5000L5's but is making just his fifth start of the year and also gets a chance with Dan Dube. (2) OOH RAH exits the amateur races at the Meadowlands. He was a solid second last time out and moves inside on the gate.
Race 7 - F&M NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Pace
(3) CHECKERED PAST rallied from eighth to third in the final half of the mile in her race last week and has major post relief here, moving in from the eight-hole to post three. (2) SANDY'S BEACH raced well for the Strattons on 9-16 and then qualified well at Monticello with Cory driving. Jordan takes the lines back here. (4) COWGIRL LILLY drops back to the NW7500L5 level tonight. She was second in this class two back, and I'm going to overlook that break on September 23 since the track was sloppy.
Race 8 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Trot
(3) BINGO QUEEN shows just one win in the last two seasons, but it seems like many of these types have been winning lately, and she had some decent results when she was racing at the bottom level back in the summer. (2) DEW CAN DEW finished well over at the Meadowlands on 9-24, gaining positions and ground in the final quarter. She's been driven by her trainer or amateurs in most of her starts as of late, but she gets Kakaley to steer tonight. (4) SVF CASH DEPOSIT has hit the board in last two and has Stratton to drive again, which always helps.
Race 9 - NW5000L5 Pace
(8) CECIL CASANOVA makes his third start back after a layoff and gets a driver who can make speed in Dube. I'll bank on him being able to get to the front and use. (6) FIZZING N takes another drop down to the bottom level and trainer Shaun Vallee has been sending out some live ones lately. (3) MINNIE VINNIE was third in the Art Rooney back in 2018 and ships back east after another good season in Iowa. I like that he's with Jenny Melander and might be able to make an immediate impact.
Race 10 - NW10000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW75000L5/20000CLM Trot
Last time out (2) BROWNIE raced in a NW15000L5 event that Thankful NO dominated in a very quick time. I'll overlook that he faded since he drops into a much more reasonable spot tonight. (3) UVA HANOVER was a good second to the well-meant Globetrotting in his most recent start. He's hit the board in five of his last seven. (4) WARRAWEE SHIPSHAPE hasn't hit the board since winning on 9-8 but his early foot is always dangerous and one of these times they're probably not going to be able to reel him in.

Race 11 - NW10500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Trot
(3) HUNTING AS scored his last win in this class back on July 21 and has had zero shot in his last two as he was in the NW15000L5's and had post eight both times. (2) MUFASA AS also exits the NW15000L5's and gets reunited with Stratton for the first time since back in August. (1) INNISFALLEN squeezed into this race by $45 as he's made $10,455 in his last five. He was third from the pole position a week ago and has Bartlett to drive on this occasion.
Race 12 - F&M NW7/75000LT Pace
(5) ITZPAPALOTL wound up second after starting from post nine in the New York Excelsior A Series final up at Vernon. She wasn't Bartlett's choice here, but I don't mind she gets Stratton back since they won nicely together here at Yonkers on 7-28. (4) ELLAGATOR was Bartlett's pick and with good reason as she stomped that group of NW6's last Wednesday. She's a definite double-up threat. (2) THUNDRA finally got a break at the draw as she's started from posts six, seven, or eight in her last five.
