Race 1 - NW2/39421LT Trot

(4) CANIPILOTALL gets post relief here after he cut the fractions before he wound up fourth a week ago, and he gets to partner with Yannick Gingras for the first time. (1) FINN MCOOL finished with trot in a second-place effort in the same race my top selection exits and moves in on the gate from the six-hole to post one. (3) TOPVILLE LADY didn't show much last Thursday, but that was in a tougher class and in a fast mile. She shows a pair of recent seconds and a victory in Ohio and squeezed into this event by a dollar under the lifetime earnings cap.

Race 2 - 15000CLM Pace

(3) MAXIMUS RED A makes his third start back after a layoff from a much-improved post and paced a good final quarter from the eight-hole last Monday. (5) MASTER MIKI was very game on the front-end in a second-place finish on 10-12 and gets to partner with a catch driver again in Tyler Buter. (7) DELIGHTFUL DUDE N returns to Yonkers off a victory at Pocono most recently and he was facing tougher $25,000 claimers when last seen locally back in June.

Race 3 - Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot

(5) SV MR T defeated NW2 foes handily on both 9-30 and 10-7, and I'll give him top call here as Jason Bartlett takes over the driving. (2) BITOFTHEBUBBLY is also undefeated at Yonkers since he came down from Canada and starts from an inside post again for trainer/driver Pat Lachance. (4) CAPTAINFORLIFE AS shows a second against NW5s at Harrah's Philadelphia two back and starts from a better post here than he had most recently at Pocono.

Race 4 - 20000CLM Pace

(5) SAILBOAT HANOVER couldn't gain in a very fast mile for this class a week ago but was victorious against $20,000 claimers back on 8-5 and hopefully is sharper tonight in his second start after some time off. (1) ZEBS KRAFTY drops from the $30,000 claiming level and slides in on the gate to the pole position. Add in his 27 and change final quarter last Monday and he's probably the one to beat. (3) OVER THE HORIZON has been outside the trifecta just once in his last six appearances but was scratched sick out of a scheduled start on 10-8.

Race 5 - F&M NW2/32131LT / Maidens Draw Inside Pace

(3) GOLDEEN N struggles on the turns, but she's fast in the straights, so even if she loses ground, she can still win if she's close enough like on 8-1 or 8-8. (5) LOVE ON THE RUN is two-for-two to start her career and comes in off a victory in this class a week ago. (4) COME ON BARBIE tallied in this class on the 30th of September and was only a neck behind LOVE ON THE RUN when they met last Wednesday.

Race 6 - 3-6YO 30000CLM Pace

(7) REINCARNATED tallied twice at Yonkers in July and August and has been facing tougher, including a stakes try most recently. He also gets Bartlett in the bike for the first time for a high-percentage stable. (5) THE WICKED ONE just missed by a neck in his initial outing at this level last week and gets reunited with Matt Kakaley. (1) ALIEN POWER paced a career-best mile in his victory a week ago and any repeat of that would probably put him in the winner's circle again.

Race 7 - Winners of 5 but not more than 7 PM Races or 90000LT Trot

(3) R LADY W returns to action after a layoff tonight and owns a victory against much tougher F&M Invitational foes back on 8-6. I expect the connections will try to take advantage of her getting to race in this class. (5) MONI BUYS HAPPYNES was a good second behind a razor-sharp favorite at this level a week ago and gets to team up with co-owner Gingras again. (8) DOLLAR DRAFT is moving up in class but has won three of his last four tries and got the nod from Bartlett over my top selection. Therefore, I think he'll likely be going forward out of the gate.

Race 8 - F&M 20000CLM Pace

(4) GOING AWAY plunges in class out of the F&M $50,000 claiming class and gets to move in on the gate from the eight-hole to post four to go with that. (2) STAYINGWITHTHEWIND also continues to work her way down the ladder tonight. She was in the F&M Invitational at Yonkers as recently as mid-August and gets a driver switch to Bartlett for a high-percentage stable. (1) DASH N CACHE starts from the pole, has a second and a win in her last two appearances and gets reunited with Colin Kelly.

Race 9 - F&M Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Pace

(4) VANNA BY THE RIVER appears to be a standout in here given her recent stakes appearances, and she won in her last overnight event at Tioga on 8-22. (2) EXISTENTIAL was scratched sick on October 7 but has been first or second in her last three efforts, including a win at this level on September 16. (1) KISSIN IN THE DARK should be able to get back into contention here as she slides in on the gate from the seven-hole to the pole position and gets to team up with Tyler Buter again.
