Race 1 - 50000CLM Trot
(2) SECRET OR NOT broke up at Plainridge most recently but was racing very well at Yonkers prior to that, including his romping win over NW4's on 9-29. I'll look for him to rebound. (3) DELTASUN A has been knocking on the door at this level with a second and a third in his last two outings. (6) NEW LEGACY starts from the outside but makes his second start for leading trainer Gareth Dowse. I could see him improving off that sixth-place result against NW15000L5's on October 7.

Race 2 - F&M NW5221L5/12500CLM Pace
(5) E R HILARY won two back at this level and then had no shot from post eight in a subsequent appearance. This tandem of Braxten Boyd and Dennis Laterza has brought in quite a few prices this meet, and hopefully that can happen here. (4) SPORTS FLIX takes another crack at NW5000L5 base class foes here and is back with trainer Eric Abbatiello. (2) CORAL BELLA shifts inside on the gate and kept Jordan Stratton. She can definitely win, but I fear will be quite overbet.

Race 3 - F&M NW2/25000LT Pace
(5) YOU SAIDITALL N was third to the red-hot Huntress in her local debut on 10-5. She doesn't face that rival tonight, and I will look for her to get the job done. (3) THE LETTER finished second to Huntress in the same race my top pick comes out of, so I'll include her as well. (2) TRUE BLUE HANOVER is a 2-year-old taking on mainly older foes, but she is in solid form and won impressively at the Meadowlands on September 3.
Race 4 - NW5000L5 Pace
(3) MINGO JOEL has been pretty win shy this year but catches a very wide open group here. He has post relief off his last effort on 10-7 and shows a recent third against $15,000 claimers. (6) DARK ENERGY N gets to drop to the bottom level here and also doesn't have to contend with post eight like he did last Tuesday. (4) PERSIMMON A showed speed a week ago but ended up getting parked out. The aggressive handling is a positive sign, and he was able to hang on to get a check.
Race 5 - F&M NW4/50000LT Pace
(5) ROBMOTION BLUECHIP is a second-time starter for Cory Stratton tonight. She couldn't get involved from the eight-hole last Tuesday but has a couple of seconds in her lines at Saratoga, and there isn't a real standout in here. (1) FACTORY GIRL comes in from The Meadows in strong form and is now with Joe Holloway. She was George Brennan's choice and has the pole to aid her chances. (8) AMERICAN HALO moves out to post eight but has finished in the top two in her last four outings, and driver Brent Holland isn't afraid to hustle one out of there.
Race 6 - F&M NW6/75000LT Pace
(6) MABALENE N made an uncharacteristic break in stride on 9-27 and lost all chance. Her wins over NW4's had been very impressive prior to that, so I'll put her on top in hopes of a rebound. (3) SALE EL SOL steps up from the NW4 class but won pretty handily last week and starts out of the Ron Burke barn for the third time. (2) CHERYLS SHADOW was scratched on October 5, but she was razor-sharp before then, including a victory at this level on 9-27.
Race 7 - F&M NW4/50000LT Pace
(8) WINE N DINE ME drops out of stakes company here, including an appearance in the Jugette final. She'll have to overcome post eight, but I believe she can do it. (3) FOX VALLEY CACHET scored over NW4 foes last Wednesday and has been sharp for several weeks overall. (2) HAMPTONS BABE has back-to-back second-place finishes in this class and has a driver switch to Jason Bartlett.

Race 8 - NW10226L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Trot
(5) CREATIVE VENTURE returns to this class after taking on NW6's on October 5. He's hit the board in his last two attempts at this level, and I'm going to hope Dan Dube is able to put him on the lead. (2) INFINITY STONE is back with Per Engblom here. He did some nice work out of that barn earlier this year, including two victories at Yonkers. (6) LOOK IN MY EYES came up empty on 10-1 but does have that third-place finish against $75,000 claimers and second against NW30000L5's in his lines that really stick out. He has a driver switch to Jim Marohn Jr.
Race 9 - 20000CLM Pace
(2) WON LAST FEELING moves inside on the gate tonight after having outside draws in his last two tries, and I think he's pretty sharp given he's been able to overcome those posts to finish third both times. (4) JOJO'S PLACE defeated $20,000 claimers on 10-7 for the Jason Bartlett/Gareth Dowse tandem and is probably the one to beat again tonight. (1) SUNSETBOOZECRUISE has shown the ability to hit the board in this class a couple of times on his page and was fourth in the same race Jojo's Place exits.
