Race 1 - F&M NW2/25000LT Pace

(1) CINCO SENORITA closed in 28 4/5 on 9-29 in a NW3 race. She moves inside from post seven to the pole position tonight in this NW2 contest and was Jordan Stratton's choice. (2) IDEAL CHIP exits the same race my top pick does. She had no shot that night from the eight-hole, but drew inside here, and while not Stratton's pick, she ended up with a good replacement in Scott Zeron. (4) BEACHBLANKETLINDY owns no wins this year, but she has been second or third in 12 of her 16 starts, so I'll definitely include her underneath.

Race 2 - 50000CLM Trot

(1) STICK WITH ME KID held third after doing the first-over work in a race on Friday night (10-8) that a few of the horses in this event come out of. He drew the pole here, and I'd really like to see him on the lead or in the pocket. (2) BLUE AND BOLD doesn't always trot, but when he does he's a threat. He closed from seventh to fourth in the last quarter in that dash my top pick was third in on Friday night. (6) BLENHEIM has the best recent result of these trotters, as he won a NW15000L5 contest on 10-2. Stratton drove him that time, but Zeron is in the bike tonight.

Race 3 - 25000CLM Pace

(2) BAMSKI was claimed by a high-percentage barn on 9-29. He gets to move inside on the gate after a couple of outside posts in his last pair, and hopefully that means a change back to aggressive tactics is coming. (5) FOX VALLEY INFERNO also has post relief tonight after having the eight-hole twice at Yonkers and the nine at the Meadowlands in his last three. He closed in 28 and change on both September 24 and October 1. (8) MASTERSON is the hot horse in this contest as he's won two in-a-row. There doesn't appear to be an abundance of leavers in here, so Matt Kakaley might take a shot and gun him out.

Race 4 - NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Trot

(4) HEAT WAVE HANOVER appeared like she was ready in that qualifier at Harrah's Philadelphia as she took the lead from the pocket and drew off. She's been off since 8-12 and has a new trainer with Juan Cano taking over. (1) CAVILL HANOVER gained spots and ground from off-the-pace last Wednesday. He does move up in class, but he drew an inside post tonight and kept Stratton. (2) WINDSONG PIONEER hasn't done much since that second-place result on 8-18, but he does get to drop out of the NW10000L5's, and sometimes that's all it takes.

Race 5 - 25000CLM Pace

(5) HASH-TAG SWAG is one of the few Bongiorno horses that hasn't been able to find the winner's circle since joining the barn, but I'll bank on that changing tonight. (1) RISKY MILLION saw his three-race win streak end on 10-1, but that was from post eight and he starts from the pole position here. (6) TOLLY-HO closed from fifth to second in the final quarter last Wednesday and makes his third start for trainer Scott DiDomenico.

Race 6 - 30000CLM Pace

(1) LATE MAIL N gave way in the stretch on 10-4 after having to go a quick third quarter to fend off a first-over horse. He's won in this claiming class before, though, and Stratton and trainer Jeff Gillis should have a better read on him tonight. (4) GINGER TREE PETE closed from eighth to fifth in the final quarter on October 4, and I don't mind the switch to Joe Bongiorno. (7) PICARD A drops out of the $40,000 claimers, and that might be all it takes to get him back on the right foot.

Race 7 - F&M NW8/100000LT / NW6/75000LT Drawn Inside Pace

(6) DELITFULCATHERIN N gets to slide down from the optional NW9 class to this NW8 race, and I think that's going to be a big difference. I also think she has an advantage as the lone 5-year-old in this event. (5) DELIGHTFUL Z TAM has hit the board in five straight and six of her last seven. I also think this might be an easier spot than the NW15000L5 level. (7) MIKALA made the Jugette final and has had a very good 3-year-old season overall. I'm not sure what the rest of her stakes calendar looks like, but I'll bank on her not "needing" to win tonight and try and beat her.

Race 8 - NW4/50000LT Pace

(8) DASHINTOTHEBEACH N couldn't deliver at 2-5 in her U.S. debut, but she did close well, and she switches drivers to Zeron tonight. (1) FRENCH SHAKER tallied in her second start for the Bongiornos on 9-29, and she should have every chance to replicate that result from the pole position. (5) OK LETS ROCKNROLL probably needed that race last Wednesday as she had a gap in her schedule. I'll include for value underneath.

Race 9 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Trot

I have absolutely no idea if (5) BIG BAD SWAN is going to feel like trotting or not, but if he does he's absolutely capable of beating bottom-level rivals. (3) BIG MONEY HONEY races out of the always dangerous Travis Alexander barn and finally has an inside draw after being stuck outside in all of those amateur races at the Meadowlands. (2) DYNAMIC EDGE drops out of the NW7500L5's and gained spots and ground in the last quarter from the eight-hole a week ago.

Race 10 - NW5000L5 Pace

(6) RUNRUNJIMMYDUNN N makes his second start back after a bit of a layoff tonight and paced a 27 4/5 final quarter in his comeback on October 4. Add in the drop and a bit of post relief, and that's enough for me. (3) DA DELIGHTFUL has a really good history at Yonkers and did race well at Pocono last time out with trainer Mark Silva driving. It's not hard to imagine him just wiring this group, but he had every chance to do that at the Meadowlands with a catch driver on 9-25 and couldn't do it, so I'll hope he's vulnerable. (2) WATERWAY is another one in here with the class relief/improved post combo going for them.

Race 11 - NW10000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Trot

(2) LINDY'S BIG BANG invades from The Meadows and is now with Travis Alexander. His form is pretty solid, and he drew an inside post, so I'll put him on top. (1) ARMAGEDON SEELSTER picked up a check from post eight against NW15000L5's the last time he was at Yonkers back in mid-July, so this class should be a good fit for him, especially from the rail. (4) UVA HANOVER couldn't hold on and faded to fourth after getting to the front last week, but he did finish second at this level two back.

Race 12 - F&M NW6/75000LT Pace

(2) TENTHOUSAND ANGELS ran into well-meant winners on both 9-22 and 9-29. Her main dangers are drawn outside tonight, and I don't think they're quite as imposing as the ones she finished second and third to in her last pair of appearances. (7) EASY TO PLEASE has hit the board in three straight since exiting stakes company. (1) BRIAR won here over NW4's on 9-15 and returns to overnight action here after racing in the Liberty Bell at Harrah's Philadelphia most recently.
