Race 1 - 20000CLM Pace

(3) HE'S GONNA GETYA finds what I think is a softer spot than those 3-5YO $30,000 claimers he's been in and also has post relief. He's been finishing out his miles pretty well, and I'll give him a chance in this wide-open race. (5) LEAVE AND ROLL continued his long run of on-the-board results last Wednesday. Joe Bongiorno takes back over the driving assignment tonight. (7) VEL MR NICE GUY drops out of the $30,000 claimers and kept Jordan Stratton in the bike.

Race 2 - NW2/25000LT / NW1/12500LT Drawn Inside Trot

(6) SELENA DEO makes her second start back after a little freshening and gained spots to finish third against NW3's at Harrah's Philadelphia on 9-29. (3) BAR KEEP DE VIE was third in this class on September 28 and moves inside a couple of slots on the gate this time. (5) SQUABLE never wins but is not in bad form as he's finished second in two of his last three tries. I'll toss him in underneath.

Race 3 - 15000CLM Pace

(5) MARINER SEELSTER got up to finish third from the eight-hole last Wednesday and starts from a mid-pack post tonight. He won pretty handily two back in a similar situation. (1) DESIRE'S CAPTAIN drops out of higher classes here and at Pocono and gets reunited with Stratton. (3) TOATSMYGOATS cut the fractions and was second at this level a week ago. He shows nothing but being on the front in his lines, so expect continued aggressive handling.

Race 4 - NW4/51047LT Trot

(3) DEVILISH HILL dominated the last time he faced NW4's at Yonkers on 7-20 and exits two straight check-getting performances against stakes company. (4) SHOPPING IN PARIS has been out of the top two just twice in 11 outings this year and was second in a NW4 tilt on 9-28. Austin Siegelman gets another chance to team up with her. (5) HEADOVERBOOTS AS finally won on September 14. He makes his third start on Lasix tonight and is now with Ron Burke.

Race 5 - NW6/83918LT Trot

(1) WILD BILL KELSO was second in a track record mile in the NYSS final at Yonkers two back and drops out of stakes company for the first time since early July. (2) BAR COINS finished a closing second in a mixed NW6/NW8 event last Wednesday and faces just NW6's here. He also drew inside again. (8) LAVA FIELD starts from the outside but is riding a four-race win streak and is undefeated in Jeff Cullipher's barn. He held off BAR COINS to tally in their common race a week ago.

Race 6 - F&M NW4/50000LT Pace

(2) TWIN B ALLURE owns a victory at Yonkers back on 7-22 and exits some stakes tries at Freehold. She also has a trainer change to Jenn Bongiorno, which puts Joe Bongiorno in the bike. (4) TARGARYEN EMPRESS has been racing well and gets to race against just NW4's tonight after she was in against mixed NW4 and NW6 foes a week ago. (6) LULU ROCKS closed well to finish third in a pace-less event on September 23. Trainer-driver Pat Lachance has been putting some live horses on the track lately.

Race 7 - F&M NW7/75000LT Pace

(7) TREACHEROUS PENNY starts from the outside post but has won her last five starts in overnight races, including against NW4's and NW6's here at Yonkers. She even showed a new dimension by rallying from off-the-pace on 9-30. (2) HALLELUJAH HANOVER romped to a pretty easy-looking victory over NW6's in her Yonkers return last Wednesday and drew inside. (1) LIGHT AND TIGHT finished second to TREACHEROUS PENNY when they met up on the 30th of September. She has the pole position to help her chances and gets Stratton in the bike again.

Race 8 - NW4/50000LT Trot

(2) WILD WAY broke stride on 9-28 but her prior try over NW4's at Yonkers was very good. She has another inside post to start from and should offer a bit of a price. (1) GOTTA HABIT has been racing well for several weeks and owns a victory over NW2's at Yonkers two back. He gets some post relief off a fourth-place result in a NW3 event a week ago. (7) ROSE RUN YANKEE is also coming off a miscue but has beaten NW4's at Yonkers before and has shown the ability to race well both from off-the-pace and on the lead.

Race 9 - F&M NW1/17670LT Pace

(4) CANNERY ROW is making her third start for the Bongiornos tonight. She's had to settle for runner-up finishes in her first two tries for them, but she does move back inside on the gate after starting from the seven-hole on 9-30. (6) DONTKARENIFIDO beat my top pick when they matched up on September 30 and squeezed into this event by a dollar under the lifetime earnings cap. (5) DUCK INTO THE NITE finished third in a mixed NW1/NW2 test last Wednesday and meets up with just NW1 company tonight.

Race 10 - 15000CLM Pace

(1) MAJESTIC KIWI N slides in from post six to the pole in his fourth start back after some time off and did gain ground in the final quarter of his mile on September 15. (6) THE BEST TYME EVER invades off a fourth-place finish at Freehold. He is making his second start on Lasix and out of Per Engblom's barn. (4) CAMPORA N tired last Wednesday but he had a bit of a gap in his lines coming into that event and I liked to see he was handled aggressively from post seven. He drew better here.
