(5) DISTANT LOVER has hit the board in six out of her last seven tries, including four wins in this class. She was also leading driver Jason Bartlett's choice. (4) IN A WINK N returns from Saratoga and was second as the odds-on favorite in her lone appearance at this level at Yonkers on September 2. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - F&M 20000CLM Pace (3) RONA MAE drops a notch out of the $25,000 claimers and was in sharp form at the Meadowlands prior to coming to Yonkers. (2) SALE EL SOL was victorious in this class in her last try on 9-23 and debuts for new connections off a claim. (5) GINGER TREE LIZ scored over $20,000 claiming foes back on July 22 and has been facing $25,000 claiming company since then. Race 3 - 15000CLM Pace (7) IM A POWERPLAY A will have to overcome a bad post but won the last time he faced $15,000 claimers at Yonkers on 8-28 and returns off a third in a quick mile down at Harrah's Philadelphia. (2) KILOWATT KID N has been outside the top three just once in his last seven efforts and gets a driver switch to Bartlett. (3) A FEARSOME HANOVER finished fourth most recently but had hit the board in five straight prior to that, including a pair of victories at this level. Race 4 - F&M Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Pace (5) SPIRIT OF PEARL A comes south from Saratoga in great form, picks up Jordan Stratton in the bike and makes her second start on Lasi. (2) SWEET ODDS exits stakes company and won the last time she was in an overnight race on 8-22. (4) SAMMY JO HANOVER had no shot in the Jugette from the eight-hole but had been in the exacta in four straight appearances prior to that. Race 5 - 25000CLM Pace (1) SAULSBROOK HERO exits some quick miles in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and moves in on the gate to the pole position. Add in that he gets a shot with Bartlett, and I'll give him the nod. (2) MAXIMUS RED A comes in off a victory at this level on 9-17 and has hit the board in five out of his last seven efforts overall. (3) HURRIKANEKINGJAMES tallied against $25,000 claiming company two back and gets significant post relief. Race 6 - Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot (8) SUMMER YOUNG drew post eight but does have a win in this class on 9-6, and I'll hope she's put in play against a pretty wide-open group. (5) EVANS PER FECT WAR shows a victory at this level on the 9th of August and gets a chance to partner with Bartlett for Engblom. (2) FLIGHT OF FRITZ got the job done against winners of 2 but not more than 4 foes on September 20 and has hit the board in five of his last seven trips behind the gate overall. Race 7 - 15000CLM Pace (4) NEYREIT wound up with a difficult trip in his last effort and tired but hails from a stable that's capable of having one ready to fire off a big mile at any time. Hopefully a smoother journey and a victory are coming tonight. (1) CAUGHTINALANDSLIDE closed well in a third-place finish most recently and moves in from post four to the pole position. He also gets a driver switch to Jim Marohn Jr. (7) RECORD YEAR starts from the outside but has won the last two times he's raced out of the Laterza stable and gets reunited with Brent Holland. Race 8 - F&M 20000CLM Pace (4) RACIN FOR ROYALTY woke up with a much-improved effort for the Holland/Laterza team last Tuesday and I'll put her on top in this rather wide-open tilt. (1) NUTTINBUTHEBEST was fifth in the same race my top pick exits and had a good final quarter. She moves in on the gate to the pole position and gets a driver switch to Jordan Stratton. (7) VIRTUAL KISS starts from a poor post but was third when Bartlett drove two back and he is back in the bike tonight. He doesn't have super-obvious form but gets significant post relief and Holland returns to the bike. (1) COLD CREEK FELIPE has had success at Yonkers before and had a recent five-race run of top-three finishes out at Running Aces in Minnesota. (6) JOHNNY CHIP hit the board in a couple of chances against $15,000 claimers on 8-30 and 9-10. He debuts for new connections off a claim and was Bartlett's choice over two others. Race 10 - F&M 20000CLM Pace (1) SUNTAN CITY hasn't made much of an impact in two tries at Yonkers so far, but I'll look for a better performance tonight as Bartlett takes over the driving. (2) DISARONNO HILL just missed in her first start for these connections on September 20 and moves in a couple of slots on the gate here. (7) DEFININGTHE MOMENT has been outside the top three just once in her last seven outings. That span includes a trio of victories in this class.
