Yonkers: Analysis for Tuesday 9/7

MEET STATS: 297 - 843 / $1,604.10 (-$81.90)
BEST BETS: 41 - 80 / $130.40 (-$29.60)
Best Bet: SPRINGSTEEN (10th)
Spot Play: BEVANS CULLEN N (3rd)
Race 1: $12,500 Claiming Pace
(3) AMERICAN NITRO had no real chance to get involved from post eight last week but was a good second the start prior from a similar spot; 4-year-old should go well here. (5) ALLGONOWHOA goes for another new barn tonight off the claim and he stays at the same level looking for four straight; logical favorite here and an obvious chance to score if he can maintain his form for the new connections. (7) ARI ALLSTAR was surprisingly claimed last week by DiDomenico after a long and sometimes successful run with Carl Tirella; we'll see how much money he takes off his 20/1 ML and if he can show some improvement.

Race 2: NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace
(5) MARLBANK ROAD failed to get involved in his local debut but he seemed to finish willingly; he gets some post improvement and we'll see if Siegelman can get him in play. (3) EL'S DISCO JOHNNY was a bit short from the pocket last week but he was home in :27 4/5; similar effort can take this. (4) KING SPENCER had one even effort here four back then was saddled with tough posts out of town; he does seem fast enough to be competitive here.

Race 3: $20,000 Claiming Pace
(5) BEVANS CULLEN N is zero for the last two seasons but he had been racing well in lower-level conditioned events at Philly and he finds a field of $20K claimers overloaded with question marks. (1) TALK SHOW drops below the level of the claim two back but he does draw the rail and figures to be more competitive. (6) BUSH MAN N gets Bartlett again and he did close mildly last start; worth considering at a price.
Race 4: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) RETOUR AU JEU made his debut for the Devita barn last week and was out a long way from the poor post so he can be excused for tiring; he moves inside tonight and should be looking at a much better trip. (1) PROVOCATIVEPRINCEN has generally been disappointing but note that Burke quickly unloaded him and he resurfaces in the younger Tritton’s barn; expect improvement. (4) ZIGGY SKY finished with plenty last week once shaking free and he gets to drop again; this is his winning level.
Race 5: NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace
(1) LARRY LINCOLN N was conservatively handled in his first two U.S. starts for owner/trainer/driver Austin Siegelman. He moves all the way inside tonight and it will be "all systems go". Only problem is that he'll be HAMMERED in the wagering, probably to odds-on. (4) MR DUNNIGANS didn't get the best of drives from Bartlett two back while appearing to have pace; he can be a part of this with a better trip. (6) HIS BEATS HANOVER was second best to the well-meant winner last week.
Race 6: NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace
(2) TRUFFLE DOG faces some legit competition in his quest for three straight but I'll give him the nod. (1) JIM BLUE steps up to NW4 off a tidy front-end win upon arrival from Canada. (3) UNCONTROLLABLE finished well last out after the fact; post relief helps.
Race 7: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) ALL HANDS ON DECK is up in class for the fourth consecutive start looking for his fourth consecutive win since joining Team Bongiorno. He faces some decent talent in here but may be sharp enough to get it done. (2) REBELLIOUS two-moved to a nice score in his local return. (1) TELLITSABB put in a very uninspiring effort last week but history dictates he's better than that, and drawing the rail will help his cause.
Race 8: NW6 races or $79,900 lifetime Pace
(2) HIPPESTCATINTOWN accomplished what many of his barnmates have done: win at first asking for Jenn Bongiorno. He bumps up to NW6 but has a big tactical edge on a main rival, who is stuck far outside. (8) DEAL THE CARDS is a perfect 5 for 5 in 2021 for Schnittker, and that was after missing a year of action. He draws the worst post and loses his regular driver tonight, so we'll see if he’s talented enough to overcome that adversity. (1) MR KELLY ships down from Canada and joins the Burke barn, usually a live angle, but this guy is 0 for 15 this year and meet some good ones at first asking.
Race 9: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) KEPT UNDER WRAPS A drops from 30K and previously 40K claimers into this softer NW7500 class, and he also gets major post relief after a series of outside draws. (5) ODDS ON DELRAY was outbattled two back versus similar in his Yonkers return, and recovered from an early break last week; veteran should be a contender. (1) HEAVENLY SOUND wired lesser at Freehold, can save ground here for a share.
Race 10: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) SPRINGSTEEN has jogged in two straight since moving to the Jenn Bongiorno barn and while consistency is not his strong suit with no mishaps he'll jog here. (4) ISLANDSPECIALMAJOR has been going evenly of late for Shane Tritton but he does drop a notch and could be second best. (1) WARDAN EXPRESS A was a solid pocket-sitting winner last week versus cheaper; he draws the rail again and figures to be sitting close up throughout.

Race 11: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) I'M BENECIO A was scratched sick last Tuesday but he dropped right back in the box the next day so he must be good to go; Stratton is back driving. (1) LUCIANO N seemed to tail off last start but he drops here and the classy veteran still has plenty of speed. (4) MYKINDACHIP never seems to win but he should come away with a nice share.
Race 12: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) GENIUS MAN was uninvolved last week but was a solid second the start prior and I can envision Bartlett getting aggressive here. (1) SILAS SEELSTER has just one win on the season but he's been racing decently of late and he draws best. (2) THE WALL gets class and post relief for Jimmy Pantaleano and he should be a part of this number.
