Yonkers: Analysis for Tuesday 9/20

MEET STATS: 322 - 930 / $1,588.90 (-$271.10)
BEST BETS: 51 - 87 / $197.60 (+$23.60)
Best Bet: MABALENE N (7th)
Spot Play: ADDISON SEELSTER (4th)
Race 1: 3-5YO NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace
(3) BB LUCKY BOY is more fresh stock arriving to Yonkers now in the care of the leading trainer, which means the leading driver gets in the bike. His form recently at Hoosier has been good and he should fit well here; short price looming, however. (1) LOU'S BEACH hasn't had much of an impact since bumping to NW4 but he will be in line for a live trip from this spot. (2) DP REALORDEAL was a winner upon arrival from Indiana for Lance Hudson and Kakaley drives again as he bumps up to this level.

Race 2: 3-5YO NW6 races or $75,000 lifetime Pace
Good race here with some legit talent. (7) GREAT SOMEWHERE arrived from Rideau Carleton to join the Gareth Dowse barn and jogged in an age-restricted claimer. He lands outside but seems to have more than enough early speed to fire out either for the lead or for a nice seat. (3) TRENDY TEEN is a dq away from being a perfect four-for-four as he climbs the NW ladder. He loses Bartlett to the top one but gets a very worthy replacement in Stratton. (4) LUCKBEWITHALEX is another Hoosier invader for Lance Hudson who figures to make an immediate impact.

Race 3: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) RED RIGHT HAND has failed to get involved in his last three races but he had been facing much better than what he meets tonight; Kakaley gets the drive and figures to be aggressively handled, like he was from a similar spot four back when he went wire-to-wire. (1) HEISMAN PLAYER isn't the most consistent sort but he did rally well for second last week; needs a better getaway for his best chance. (6) SHADOW CAT lands a tough post outside his main rivals but he has finished well in his last three and Bartlett drives again.
Race 4: 3-4YO F&M NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace
(1) ADDISON SEELSTER arrived locally two back for Gillis and paced evenly to finish in behind some tough ones, then she closed well from a bad spot last out. Filly moves all the way back inside and Stratton is back driving. (5) PREMIER SWEETALKER got the job done as the heavy favorite upon arrival for Dowse; She has shown zero early speed in her six career starts but has still won three of them; will she be at the mercy of the pace or can Bartlett get her going early? (2) NOT SO EVIL has been on or near the front in her last three but needs to show more late.
Race 5: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) UNCLE JORD A failed to fire from behind cover last week but that was a paceless race with the heavy favorite cruising up front; Erv Miller trainee lands a good post again and I do think he can go with these, and also figures to be a good price. (1) MACH N CHEESE rallied well in his last two, lands inside and the Forte barn has been going well. (5) KINGSVILLE is a speedy 3-year-old from Dowse and we'll see how he stacks up facing elders. I'm not willing to take a short price on him.
Race 6: 3-4YO NW2 races or $25,000 Lifetime Pace
(1) HUNTSVILLE PLACE went a solid effort in defeat last week and faces much of the same here; Erv Miller trainee definitely gets the call as the deserving favorite. (3) AUSSIE HANOVER was also stubborn in defeat coming out of the same race as the top one and he looks like the main threat. (2) JITTERBUG FLIP should be sitting close to the front and can land a share.
Race 7: 3-5YO NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace
I knew (6) MABALENE N would attract plenty of attention making her U.S. debut but I didn't think she would pay $2.10! Price should go up a bit as there is another legit option in here and I'm staying on board. (4) LEE LOO is a talented youngster from the Alagna barn who did okay in state-bred races this season, but she has missed a little time. (3) NORTHERN LUXURY acclimated well upon arrival from Canada but she does face much better here; third best?

Race 8: NW24251 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) SPLASH BROTHER elected to sit the pocket to Dragon Said last week and could not run that one down. He'll probably be chasing (1) TOWN GOSSIP tonight and maybe he gets there. The latter had it all his own way last week and won easily; clearly capable of repeating. (2) SAVE ME A DANCE was very disappointing last out; who knows what to expect tonight.
Race 9: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
(3) CAVIART CHERIE has been hinting at a win for some time and finally got it in her last start. Now, can she make it two straight? Possible. (6) JOSSIE JAMES A just missed the top one last out. Dowse trainee is an obvious player here despite drawing outside her main competition. (2) LOOKATMYART faltered last out at The Meadowlands but had won two straight here prior to that.
