Race 1: F&M $30,000 Claiming Pace
(4) KATIES UP returns to Gingras on the catch drive as she drops in class from $50's (which she beat two back) to this less salty group. (5) TH RIZZO was off the pace last week and rallied well for second; she's equally dangerous on front or from behind. (3) TWIN B ECHO seems to have tailed off but she does land a rare inside post.

Race 2: NW21751 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) DUNKIN' has been known to step up when we least expect it and he figures to be an honest price in this competitive field. (3) BETTER B BOLD was outfinished last start when uncovered but he fits better with these. (6) TH COLBY did win the last time Yannick drove the Burke 4YO.
Race 3: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
(1) AVF CLAIRE has won her last two races when tagged for $50K and that’s the case tonight. Engblom mare has the rail again and Bartlett again; deserving favorite. (5) OVER ICE has been a model of consistency and the Daguet trainee is also versatile; Buter can try leaving for a close-up trip, or can grind, or rally off cover. (2) SURVIVIN FIRE has a win and two seconds in her last four at this level and the Di Domenico trainee draws well.
Race 4: $60,000-$75,000 Claiming Pace
(5) CURLY JAMES A has earned $54K in five starts for these connections after being claimed for $20,000, and he's in position for another big payday. (3) FINVARRA A enters claimers and has the early speed to clear the inside rivals and ultimately sit the garden trip. (7) BACKSTREET SHADOW is stuck outside again due to being entered for the higher tag. Tough spot but he's classy enough to sneak in there somehow.
Race 5: 3-5YO winners of 2-4 races or $60,000 LT Pace
(4) THE RASCAL N regained his form in a big way last out as he dominated and he gets another run at the same level tonight. Top billing for top connections. (1) ALWAYS BET ON ME sat pocketed to the top one in his last Yonkers race and was second best; same scenario could set up again. (5) TWIN B FRESH BET just missed last week but is seemingly at a tactical disadvantage having drawn outside the likely favorite; still should pick up a share.
Race 6: NW21751 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) EFFINGHAM has rallied well from too far back in a number of his recent starts, both at The Meadowlands and at Yonkers. Lambert trainee finally gets a break at the post draw and is in position to be handled more aggressively. (4) JOLIMONT N hit town from Pocono and the recent import won his second straight; Hudson trainee gets Bartlett on the catch drive as he steps up in class but clearly he may have more to offer. (5) FORCE FULL A drops a level and draws slightly better; consider underneath.
Race 7: NW5901 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) PONDA EAGLE won by 37 lengths (yes 37!) in 1:54 2/5 up at Monti after the barn change and we'll see what he can do as has makes his way to Yonkers; Yannick drives. (1) SOUTHWIND IRON drops to the lowest conditioned class for the Engblom connections, draws best and gets Bartlett again. (3) MARLBANK ROAD also drops in his third start after the move to the DiDomenico barn.
Race 8: 3-5YO winners of 2-4 races or $60,000 LT Pace
(2) PERFECT CABERNET was a dominating winner earlier in the summer up at Monti for the Shane Tritton barn then things seemed to come a bit unraveled but he put it all back together in his last start. 3YO ships in and may have more to offer. (3) OZZIES CRAZY TRAIN has finished close in his last two at big prices and he's clearly trending in the right direction. (1) AMERICAN ROAD TRIP is just 1 for 21 lifetime but has done well to hit the board as a 3YO and the move all the way inside keeps him close.

Race 9: NW15651 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) EVILEYE FLEEGLE was the selection last week from the eight hole and he finished close. Burke trainee draws better and switches back to Gingras. (2) IN EXCESS N was nipped in a 1:52 1/5 mile last week, has Bartlett again from a good post. (5) SMOOTH DREAM has lost his last three at this level by a combined two lengths.
Race 10: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace
(2) BETTOR'S TICKET set a fast clip and tired last out but won the start prior from off the pace; 4YO seems to fit at this claiming level and does well with the draw. (4) IDEALINFUN was claimed again and has done well for multiple barns but now she moves to a much lower-percentage outlet and could be vulnerable. (6) IDEAL SKIES has missed some time but she's proven with this type.
