Race 1: 3-4YO F&M NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace
(2) PREMIER SWEETALKER has two wins already in just five lifetime starts up at Mohawk Park and now she ships down to join the Gareth Dowse barn; Filly gets Bartlett in the bike and draws well. If not for the presence of #4 she would be a clear lock. (4) NORTHERN LUXURY is another Mohawk shipper, this one for DiDomenico. Maybe she can make a race of it. (7) ODDS ON HARMONY arrives from Hoosier and also debuts for live connections. New Devita trainee had no luck with the computerized post draw.

Race 2: NW23176 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) SPLASH BROTHER did the best he could from post eight last week in a paceless race; gelding gets needed post relief and can make one move to 'brush and crush'. (7) DRAGON SAID returns to Yonkers off a win and gets Bartlett to catch drive; assuming he gets off the gate in good order he'll land a big share. (3) QUALITY BUD is sharp but faces some tough rivals tonight; with an easy trip he can pick up the pieces.
Race 3: 3-4YO NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace
(2) MIND HUNTER took all the money last week upon arrival but faltered in the late stages. That was only his second start coming off a long layoff and the Chris Ryder trainee figures to be tighter tonight. (1) HUNTSVILLE PLACE exits Excelsior action and he was second best here two back in a quick mile. (3) DP REALORDEAL arrives from Indiana and joins the Lance Hudson barn. He is coming off a sick line and may need a start to acclimate to the smaller oval.
Race 4: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) MCCLINCHIE N had Bartlett pick up the catch drive last week at Freehold and jogged by open lengths. He gets the call again in his local return and faces a field loaded with question marks. (7) ROCKATHON was much-improved last out when he plummeted in class and he drops another notch tonight. Only problem here is the post. (5) SOUTHWIND MOROCCAN hails from a low-percentage barn but he rallied well last week and has the hot Holland driving again.
Race 5: 3-5YO NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace
(2) TASK BAR HANOVER shipped from Rideau to make his first start for Dowse and was second best to a 1/5 shot who jogged up front. Tonight Bartlett drives and I expect him to take command. (3) COLD CREEK FELIPE faced NW6 types last week and gave way under pressure; he's back at the level where he jogged two back. (6) EXOTIC SAND has been good in every recent start for the Corelli barn and he figures to be a closing threat here.
Race 6: 3-5YO F&M NW6 races or $75,000 lifetime Pace
(3) MADIERA HANOVER faces stakes competition in her last few but note that a couple of months back she jogged here at 1/5 odds at this NW6 level. She faces some legit talent in here but deserves top billing. (2) LOVE THAT SMILE is another Canadian shipper on tonight's card, this one for the Jenn Bongiorno barn. She's just 1 for 11 on the season but she's finished well in a number of those races. (7) VILLAGE JADE cruised at Pocono in her first start for the Burke Brigade and while she faces a tall order starting from the outermost post she'll certainly offer a healthy price.
Race 7: 3-5YO F&M NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace
(5) MABALENE N is a fresh face from Down-Under for Shane Tritton and she jogged in her qualifier with Bartlett at the controls. Mare figures to be another tough chalk on tonight's card. (4) CHILLIN BYTHE POOL never got involved in her local return after they walked to the half in :59 but prior to that she picked up a check in the EBC Final at Tioga with Stratton, who is back driving tonight. (3) HAMPTONS BABE has had some modest success facing NY breds and the Alagna trainee should fit well here.

Race 8: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) UNCLE JORD A found the $100K claiming level a bit too tough last week as he was clearly outfinished from the pocket but the start prior he sailed home for the 69/1 upset. Erv Miller trainee keeps Holland, starts from a reasonable enough post and should be a decent price. (1) DELIGHTFUL TERROR has grinded his way to small shares in his last two; move all the way inside figures to help his cause. (5) TOWN GOSSIP returns locally for Jenn Bongiorno and picks up the leading driver in the bike; he's just 2 for 20 on the season but he has done good things here in the past.
Race 9: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
(3) MILLWOOD BONNIE N has been decent in her last few and she has a post edge on some of her main rivals; mare is experienced in this claiming class and gets the call in the finale. (7) VELOCITY MCSWEETS has been a model of consistency and she has the early speed to get away in good order. (4) CRUSH ME ships in for Blackler and gets Bartlett; she lacks the class of others in here but this is not an overly-tough field; maybe.
