2026 MEET STATS: 195 - 594 / $1,075.16 (-$112.84)
BEST BETS: 35 - 64 / $117.92 (-$10.08)
BEST BET: MOONSHINER N (6th)
SPOT PLAY: CAPTAIN MOORE N (5th)
Race 1: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace
(3) DISARONNO HILL cruised last week at 7/1 and is in a prime spot to repeat. Proven winner at this level gets Bartlett and won't offer a price tonight but is a likely winner. (2) SP DANCINWITHSTARZ was an easy winner from a similar spot three back; moves inside. (5) VEL IM ALL FIRE tripped out from the rail draw last out when she drew off from the pocket; don't think she gets near the front tonight but is sharp enough to rally for a piece.

Race 2: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace
(4) RACEY RACH N makes her third start back after the long layoff after racing pretty well in her first two starts; Stratton trainee may be ready to win. (2) YUENGLING has been a successful 'rent a horse' and she won easily for this barn back in June. (7) TH RIZZO was a strong two-move winner in debut for Dilloian Jr. off the claim; sharp 4YO will offer a price due to the post and if she can get somewhere near the front she'll be dangerous.
Race 3: 3-5YO NW2 races or $30,000 LT Pace
(7) THE RASCAL N was tons the best in her third North American start (and second for Engblom). 5YO faces a talented one directly to his inside but that one is making his debut and his half-mile speed isn't proven yet. (1) CALLMEBIGPAPI finished well to be second best to the top one last out; he can build off that effort. (6) BALLROOM AFFAIR arrives for the Bongiorno barn with a couple of months off after some good efforts in the TSS in Pennsylvana.
Race 4: 3-6YO Open Pace
(3) MAC'S DELIGHT is now perfect in four starts since moving to the Engblom barn and is perfectly spotted to take another. (4) HOWLENTHEHILLS is clearly no slouch but he's stuck on just one win in 12 seasonal starts and is at a tactical disadvantage to the top one. (1) SUGAR MAN steps up off a win last week in his Yonkers return.
Race 5: 3-5YO NW2 races or $30,000 LT Pace
(3) CAPTAIN MOORE N is a rare Down-Under import who hasn't functioned since arriving but he does draw a much better post and faces a softer field. (1) KILLER BEE DEO is in line for a live trip from the rail. (6) ENTER SANDMAN was not a factor in his second lifetime start but he finished in :27 4/5 so maybe the Lachance trainee has more to show tonight.
Race 6: 3-5YO Winners of 2-4 races or $60,000 LT Pace
(4) MOONSHINER N came up a bit short in his North American debut then moved from the Alexander barn to the Bongiorno barn and ripped off three straight. He'll be a deserving odds-on to take another with Bartlett on the catch drive. (1) RAGNAR LOTHBROK N has raced very well in his own right since arriving from New Zealand but this is now the third start in a row he's run into the top choice. (5) NOVA BLU has a win and a second at Pocono in two starts after arriving from Canada and joining the Alexander barn; deserves a look.
Race 7: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
(2) MC ANGEL was claimed for $20K by the Stratton barn and now has four wins in five races while working her way up to the $50K level; gets the call to take another. (4) MAYBEMABEL was claimed for $20K by Bako and won convincingly first out for $30K; looks similar to the top one in terms of sharpness. (1) MADDIE'S DELIGHT has raced well her last two for Laterza, has options from the rail on how aggressive to be.

Race 8: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) INVISIBLE N has been racing well recently though handicapped by poor posts in his last two; Bako trainee moves from claimers to this conditioned class and doesn't face any standouts. (3) LYONS FRANKY J comes from top connections but has also burned money since arriving. (1) HAMMERING HANK got hung to dry last week and figures to get a better trip from the rail.
Race 9: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) BOURBON COUNTY returns from a reasonably successful run in Kentucky and he's raced well here in the past, including a couple of wins facing more seasoned foes when he was a 3YO. Bartlett family is a co-owner here and he's back in the bike. (2) STAR CASINO N picked up a small check from the eight hole last week and the recent import gets major post relief. (6) RESILIENT N is another recent import who has tasted some success so far for the Bongiorno barn; Holland catch drives.
