Race 1: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
(5) TH RIZZO was claimed five starts back for $20K and she's quickly proving to be a steal as she's a legit player all the way up in 50's. 4YO is versatile and gets top billing. (1) PETROL QUEEN was racing well prior to pulling up in her last start but she came back with a winning qualifier and figures to be ready for action. (2) KATIES UP is back to Bartlett and draws a bit better.

Race 2: 3-5YO Winners of 2-4 races or $60,000 LT Pace
(5) BALLROOM AFFAIR took a shot with the big boys in the Milstein at Northfield and that didn't exactly work out but he was a strong winner the start prior and figures to be able to handle this group. (2) JOHNNY LINCOLN N took some money on debut from New Zealand but the Stratton charge never got involved. Moving inside for his second start makes him VERY dangerous. (3) THE RASCAL N draws much better after having the worst post in his last two.
Race 3: NYSS 3YO Filly Trot
Nine horses again in the NYSS that's split into two so we're left with undesirable races that will handle no money. One can only hope that the rules will be changed going forward so we can have competitive full fields to showcase the best that NY has to offer. (4) FLYING COPPER finished second last week at Monti with a local catch driver and now Svanstedt takes the lines. Filly won a NYSS event at Yonkers as a freshman. (2) LAURENS CHAPTER is back in the NYSS after failed attempts in the KYSS; goes from 11 rivals to just three. (3) JULA HOT TO CHILL broke late in that Monti mile; back to regular driver Kakaley.
Race 4: NYSS 3YO Filly Trot
(2) SHARP SEVEN is the most accomplished this season after a stellar 2YO campaign and deserves to be favored. (1) WHO DARES WINS broke in the stretch in her last two races so obviously that's a concern. Svanstedt is back in the bike and was a winner last time he drove. (5) STORYBOOK LOVE was in the Hambo Oaks final; that's an accomplishment that should not be overlooked.
Race 5: 3-5YO NW2 races or $30,000 LT Pace
(6) HE IS STINGIN has a couple of thirds since shipping up from Kentucky and there doesn't seem to be a ton of early speed inside of him; Stratton gets the drive tonight and a repeat of last week's effort may be enough to last against this weaker group. (2) EDGAR HANOVER was okay in his local debut and let's see if he can build off that effort. (5) CAPTAIN AMORE N hasn't done much since arriving from Down Under and now he comes off a sick scratch but he probably still has some upside and is worth watching.
Race 6: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) TUALOU N added Lasix in his second state-side start and finished in under 27 seconds to pick up a check from the eight hole. Stratton import figures to be ready to roll versus these. (1) ROYAL DESIRE saved ground and finished with plenty of pace to be a close third against a notch better; drops for the third consecutive start, draws the rail for the fifth time in six starts and figures to be a late threat again. (8) ODDS ON NO LIMIT was game in defeat in his local return but faces better and moves from the rail to the eight hole. He will be a big price as a result but maybe finds a way into the tri or super.
Race 7: NW15251 in last 5 starts Pace
(7) ITS A ME MARIO is 0 for 9 on the season but has raced well enough where he legitimately could have won two or three of those races; Tritton trainee will be a big price from a tough spot but he's got the speed to get into play. (1) TH COLBY has raced well in multiple starts at this level for Burke and he gets massive post relief. (4) PINNY TIGER A drops in class again but hasn't picked up a check since back in March. New driver tonight with Kelly taking over and clearly he's capable of better.
Race 8: NW23073 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) NEVERSTOPDREAMIN N took eight months to get to the races after arriving from New Zealand and he's got a couple of seconds in three tries. Import from the Engblom barn returns to Bartlett, draws best and is more than ready to score. (2) BOSTON BOUND has raced well recently though outfinished in his last few; back to Holland and will be close throughout. (4) IMA PERFECT CHOICE gets some post relief.

Race 9: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace
(1) YUENGLING was claimed yet again out of last week's race and she's back to the Adamczyk barn, who were the connections to last grab a win with this veteran mare. (4) ONEDERFULBEACH is 0 for 23 this year but is good at picking up pieces. (5) DOC'S LOVE stopped on the front end in her first race in six months; likely different tactics tonight.
Race 10: NW5261 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) OUR SWEET DELIGHT A added Lasix two back and has perked up significantly; another step forward can land the import in the winner's circle. (4) MANFERNO was on fire here earlier on the year when he returned from Delaware but it's safe to say the form spree is over. After being claimed for $40K back in June he needs to turn things around in a hurry. (1) MUSIC HALL left from outside posts in his last two and now he moves to the rail, also gets a driver change to Holland. Despite the 1 for 25 record he's a factor here.
