MEET STATS: 263 - 736 / $1,436.70 (-$35.30) BEST BETS: 37 - 71 / $116.50 (-$25.50) Best Bet: TRUFFLE DOG (4th) Spot Play: JESSICAS BEACH BOY (5th) Race 1: $12,500 Claiming Pace (3) ROCKIN RAMBARAN had no realistic chance from the eight hole in his first start off the DiDomenico claim; while he doesn't have much current form he deserves a chance to see what he can do from this much more favorable post. (8) POCKET WATCH N was second best upon arrival after flashing good early speed; Zeron gets the drive tonight and hopefully he can get away from the gate in good order. (2) THEREISAPACEFORUS goes for another new barn (Renaud) off the claim and he's almost always a live player from inside posts. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace (8) MACHPHEUS draws poorly again but he faces a very weak field here and if Brennan can somehow get him involved he's definitely got a live shot. (5) LINDYSALWAYSTHINKN looks like the default favorite in here as he was a decent third last start at Pocono. (2) COLD DECKED didn't get involved last week but he paced a decent back half. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: $20,000 Claiming Pace (3) RUTHLESS DUDE stopped badly on the front end last out but was claimed again and now goes out for Garcia-Herrera; I'll hope that was just a fluky bad effort and he can quickly bounce back. (1) HAPPY TRIO moves all the way inside after failing to get involved in his last two from the 7 and 8 hole; post relief makes him a contender. (2) PLAY THE FIELD was reclaimed (at a premium) by Adamczyk and he should be showing off some of his speed from this spot. Race 4: NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace (2) TRUFFLE DOG ships in for the Cullipher barn after being caught up in some fast miles recently at The Meadowlands and he also owns a recent 1:50 4/5 win at Mohawk; if he handles the half mile he seems much the best. (5) SOLID ALIBI failed at 2/5 last week with little excuse; price goes up now but he needs to show more late. (4) EL'S DISCO JOHNNY was a solid upset winner against a weak NW1 field last out; perhaps he can rally for a piece facing better. Race 5: NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace (4) JESSICAS BEACH BOY rallied well last week but had too far to come; the Milici barn has been live recently and this gelding looks to have a big chance here. (2) SIX DEGREES raced well when previously seen here for Schnittker; he returns now in a different barn but he's kept up the good speed and Pantaleano will likely be driving aggressively. (3) ANDRES HANOVER didn't fire last week but he was a winner the start prior off a ground-saving trip; Bartlett drives again and he may save and try to fire a late shot. Race 6: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace (3) BELTANE A dropped back to this level last start and got away last from post eight, but he did show :27 final-quarter speed. Lance Hudson trainee finally gets the post relief he needs. (1) MELODIES MAJOR has been looking to recapture his 2-year-old glory for the longest time but he did have some sneaky pace last start, his first for the Gillis barn. (2) THISJETSABOOKIN bumps up in class off a win and the Jenn Bongiorno trainee has back class. Race 7: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace (1) TIGER BARON was a nice winner last week after making a quick uncovered move for command; he faces some legit talent tonight but is capable of repeating with a live trip. (4) THINKBIG DREAMBIG undoubtedly needed last week's start, his first in over a year; Takter trainee could be ready for more tonight. (3) THE REAL ONE bumps up in class again looking for three straight; this ageless wonder always deserves consideration. Race 8: NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace (4) KEYSTONE NOLAN failed to get involved last week but this feels like a spot where Lachance can use the gelding's early speed, which could set him up with a good trip in this competitive field. (3) ARTIST BEAT got looped and hung to dry as the favorite last week; he's certainly capable of bouncing back with a better trip. (8) LARRY LINCOLN N is a fresh import and he qualified well for co-owner, trainer and driver Austin Siegelman; this is a very tough spot but definitely keep an eye on him. Race 9: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace (5) MACHEASY A has put in some good efforts recently upstate and he was a winner at a level higher than this when last seen locally, and that was with Buter in the bike, who gets the catch-drive here. (2) VIRGIN STORM is up in class off a win and he has a post edge on most of his main rivals. (8) GINGRAS BEACH gets needed class relief but is stuck in the dreaded eight hole. Race 10: NW6 races or $75,000 lifetime Pace (1) CAPTAIN SLEAZE was a good second last week to the favorite and from the inside post here expect Holland to be taking him down the road. (5) ROLL WITH TIME paced evenly upon arrival from Hoosier and could have more to offer. (4) SHINY BLACK BEAMER offered up nothing last week from the outside post but he just missed two back. Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter Race 11: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace (3) WHITE HAIR ROCKS is 0 for 25 this season for his low-profile barn but his last three facing $50K claimers weren't bad at all; Kakaley is back driving. (1) IMSTAYNALIVE has been a consistent check-earner for Lachance but from this spot he has an opportunity to step up his game a notch. (4) FIZZING N was off almost a month prior to last week's race and he folded up after trying to cut the mile; he can be a part of this with different tactics. Race 12: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace (3) TOWNLINE ALL GOOD got stuck with consecutive eight holes after being claimed for $50K by these connections. He gets both post and class relief and is certainly capable of showing more. (4) INDICTABLE HANOVER has been facing good stock over at The Meadows and looks like a perfect fit here. (1) MYKINDACHIP has just one win on the season but never misses a check; trend should continue tonight.
