Race 1: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace
(2) TRIZZLE TRAZZLE has found a nice home at this level and she faces much of the same she beat easily last week. Short price, likely repeater. (1) A CRAFTY LADY is the most logical choice to complete a chalky exacta. (4) SHORTYS GIRL weakened a bit chasing the winner in her last start. That was her first try in some time away from the amateurs.

Race 2: NYSS 3YO Filly Trot
(3) GIGI HANOVER was a nose shy in the Zweig for fillies and was just short qualifying for the Oaks. Last week she jogged at Monti and the Swanstedt trainee looks much the best here. (2) USOSWEET BLUE CHIP recently added hobbles and she's looked a bit better. Smooth trip can land her in the exacta. (6) CANTERBURY HANOVER has been a good earner for Jeff Gregory but she did break in an appearance here a few starts back. Last two over the half have been solid.

Race 3: F&M $25,000 Claiming Pace
(4) SWEET SANDY LOU recently dropped from the $50K level to this new lower level and responded by rallying nicely to score; Siegelman drives the Gillis trainee again looking to repeat. (3) TUGGINGONCREDIT followed the top one and just missed last week, now has a post edge which makes her dangerous. (1) HP XANADU goes to the DiCostanzo barn via claim and gets Joe B, who will be pointing her down the road.
Race 4: NYSS 3YO Filly Trot
(4) INSTAGRAM MODEL had a tough trip in the Hambo Oaks but wasn't all that far back at the finish. She may a have a bit of a class edge here on her main rival, the Melander trained (3) KAYLEIGH S, who was also an Oaks finalist but never got close. Both fillies return to the half-mile in a good matchup. (7) ROYAL FILLY jogged in her last two from the rail; she has speed and is well-mannered for Alagna.
Race 5: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
(4) SHECANDANCE N ships back north from Maryland and joins the Engblom barn. Mare lands the leading driver Bartlett and seems like she could be a good fit in this class. (3) COWGIRL LILLY is claimed every week and is racing well for all; she's a must-use here. (2) SHECOULDBEGOOD N saw her win streak snapped last start at Saratoga when ambitiously placed in the Open; she was a winner here the start prior.
Race 6: 3-5YO NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace
(1) BOOM TOWN BOY recently shipped from Canada to join the DiDomenico barn and while he didn't fire in that start at Philly he was in a bit too tough. Kakaley gets the drive tonight from the rail and may have more to offer. (4) SILK ROAD stopped late in his last two on the front; maybe Burke trainee is better stalking. (7) SHUFFLE UP HANOVER deserves plenty of respect despite the outside post; Engblom trainee goes for four straight overall.
Race 7: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) MR IBIZA N was a bit short in the late stages in those initial two races at The Meadowlands. Recent import may appreciate the move to the smaller track. (4) SOUTHWIND PETYR was nipped at 1/5 odds last week, likely goes favored again. (3) HUNTANOVER must be respected from these connections.
Race 8: NW21501 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) HEMSWORTH N was worn down at odds-on last week after dropping from the Open and now he takes another step down the ladder looking to pick things up. When good he's a fringe stakes player. (8) SPLASH BROTHER also faces softer and he does have some speed; if Marohn can get away well he can threaten at a price. (3) DP REALORDEAL has been in tough his last two at the age-restricted Open level.
Race 9: 3-5YO NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace
(4) ALL ALONE was left with too much to do last week after breaking before the start; Bongiorno trainee gets another chance. (1) STRENGTHANDHONOR N went a big mile in defeat upon arrival from the Big M and he looms large moving to the rail. (6) CHURCHVIEWFRANKL IR is a head shy of being perfect through four races since arriving from Ireland.
Race 10: 3-5YO NW8 races or $100,000 lifetime Pace
(3) METAL MAN put it all together two back to beat NW4 and he followed that up with a sharp win in the NYSS. Unraced at two, the Alexander trainee is showing plenty of promise. (1) ALL CLASS has been much-improved since moving to the Engblom barn and he returns here off a win in the Tompkins; obvious main threat to the top choice. (6) SEVEN HUNDRED was a good second in both of his recent local starts; could round out the tri here.

Race 11: NW15501 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) LAYTON HANOVER had missed almost a month prior to last week's effort and now coming back on regular rest the Alexander trainee should be ready to roll. (2) HECANDANCENCRUISE had no chance last two from outside posts while up in class; Bongiorno trainee always does well at this level. (8) DREAMFAIR ARNIE B is tough to figure as he lands the eight hole again. Last week was a softer spot when he won at odds-on.
Race 12: F&M $25,000 Claiming Pace
(4) MIKI ROSE has been the Queen of this class over the last couple of months and she's in a good spot here to win another. Back to Bartlett as well. (5) CHUPPAH ON was in tough last start. Mare is back where she belongs and she figures to be moving early along with the top choice. (3) DREAM DANCING rallied well at a big price last week, now moves in a few slots.
