MEET STATS: 239 - 676 / $1,316.50 (-$35.50) BEST BETS: 33 - 66 / $105.50 (-$26.50) Best Bet: NVESTMENT BLUECHIP (8th) Spot Play: DON DOMINGO N (12th) Race 1: $12,500 Claiming Pace (6) QUICK ASA TRICK N returns locally, has lots of back class and gets a massive barn change to Dowse; even in a race with a few other interesting options he's a must-use. (2) GOTHIC ROCK woke up in a big way last week at Philly and he draws best of the primary contenders. (3) ALLGONOWHOA arrives for Jenn Bongiorno and in a rare instance for this barn he's looking for a wakeup call. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: NW8 races or $106,000 lifetime Pace (5) GUMPTION has been knocking heads with tough claimers since arriving locally and now this age-restricted race was opened up to get this 5-year-old in; he may need a little help with the trip but does seem capable. (3) SIMON SAYS HANOVER has underwhelmed on the 3YO stakes circuit for Alagna but he did go well here in the Messenger; likely favorite. (2) BETTOR AT HIGHTIDE hails from connections that have performed well here this year. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace (4) SOLID ALIBI has raced reasonably well in all local starts without a win to show for it but he finds a pretty soft spot tonight and should be able to convert. (3) OLD TOWN ROAD gave way to the winner's pressure last start but did hold for a board spot; he draws well again and should be a player. (6) WINNING LINE ships in for Harris off a winning qualifier and gets Bartlett in the bike; maybe he can hit the ticket with smooth sailing. Race 4: $20,000 Claiming Pace (3) ROCK THE NITE has done nothing off the $30K claim a couple of months ago but he returns to Yonkers now under the care of Team Bongirono and finds a field without much current form; I can see Joe B looking to blast down the road here. (4) JUST WAVE GOODBYE debuts for DiDomenico off the $15K claim and could be a player. (7) RAPTORS FLIGHT N has never shown much early speed but he is capable of charging home. Race 5: NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace (2) DEAL THE CARDS has looked great for Schnittker in two starts after missing a year and he may be ready to handle better. (5) HEARTLAND DANDY shipped in last week for Burke with good-looking credentials but just didn't fire enough; he's worthy of another chance.  (4) ANDRES HANOVER charged home once clear in the stretch last start and he gets another crack at this level. Race 6: NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace (4) ARTIST BEST is perfect in two local starts, including his latest where he wore down (6) LINNYCALLEDFRANKIE to post the mild upset; he can do it again tonight. The latter burned the money in that last outing and now he's at a post disadvantage; should offer much more value, however. (2) THE COOKIE MONSTER is back from a layoff and seems capable of sitting close up to land a share. Race 7: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace (3) SKIP TO MY LOU debuts for the Burke barn off a private purchase from Joe Chindano and he's proven to be a good fit at this level; I expect him to take some money into the big favorite and I'll give him a shot. (4) STARS ALIGN A has been off his best game recently but obviously he's capable of blowing the doors off this field. (5) SHADOW CAT has been very good and may be overlooked tonight with the other interesting options in here. Race 8: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace (3) NVESTMENT BLUECHIP had no realistic chance last week but did pace home in :27; prior starts were solid and hes clearly the one to beat in here. (1) ANTHEM N is at his best a level or two down but he draws the rail against this overall formless field and should work out a good trip. (8) PAT STANLEY N would be rated higher if not for the bad post. Race 9: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace (1) LIKE CLOCKWORK invades from Philly for the Abbatiello barn and he's coming off a win facing pretty much similar to what he faces tonight; worth a try. (4) CAPTAIN CASH ships in from Pennsylvania for Pantaleano, lands a decent enough post and should be aggressively handled from the gate. (3) REIGNING DEO has been underachieving of late but is capable on his best day. Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter Race 10: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace (3) THE WILD CARD has failed to even pick up a check in four starts since arriving for Lance Hudson but he had outside posts while racing in higher classes; this feels like a spot to unleash this 4YO and see what he's got. (2) THE REAL ONE made it all the way down to NW7500 and he did win rather easily from off the pace; obviously he can win here as well but how short a price do you want to take? (1) YAYAS HOT SPOT N gets much-needed post relief and will be more involved. Somehow he's still winless on the season, however. Race 11: NW6 races or $75,000 lifetime Pace (3) CRUNCH HANOVER failed last week at odds-on with little excuse and now he faces a tough-looking rival from Bongiorno but he figures to be a much better price and I’ll give him another chance. (2) SPRINGBRIDGE DUEL can be forgiven for that last outing at Georgian where he was facing tough ones in a Gold event; he's back locally and figures to be aggressively handled by Joe B. (5) CAPTAIN FANCY had a decent freshman campaign with over $120K banked but has had a tough go of it as a 3YO; he was a winner in an overnight event a few starts back at Philly. Race 12: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace (1) DON DOMINGO N raced well in his last couple to hit the board and now he gets much-appreciated post relief. The Lance Hudson barn has been going well lately. (5) ORILLIA JOE isn't the most reliable horse out there anymore but he's still a speed threat. (7) FLYING FINN N gets needed class relief but also has a poor post; with some luck he can be a part of this.
