?q=100)
2023 MEET STATS: 221 - 643 / $1,073.50 (-$212.50)
BEST BETS: 37 - 61 / $116.20 (-$5.80)
BEST BET: YOROKOBI N (2nd)
SPOT PLAY: RJ SPORTS IMAGE (7th)
Race 1: 2-4YO NW1 race or $12,500 lifetime Pace
(7) KID DID IT blasted to the front last start and never looked back; he lands outside but clearly has the speed to get into play again and could offer some value. (2) EVERYBODYLOVESLOU is 0 for 16 and counting lifetime and has burned plenty of money along the way. Tough to take at another short price. (1) ROCKINFORREAL is an interesting Indiana-bred who could prove to be a good fit here.

Race 2: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) YOROKOBI N had plenty of finishing pace last week but the pace was too slow. That's three good efforts for the Pete Tritton import since arriving here and from this inside post he'll be heavily favored despite what the morning line says. (4) THE LONGEST YARD drops a notch off a speed effort in his local debut and he looks like a very logical contender here but is tough to put on top from this low-percentage barn. (3) MACHEASY A was third best in his last two at this level and he figures for another board spot.

Race 3: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
(5) MAGICAL MISTRESS drops back in for a tag and she's raced well at comparable levels for a barn that's been live for an extended period of time. (1) OURLITTLEMIRACLE ships in for Burke with some decent form out of town; hard to say how she will fit here but I trust where this barn classifies horses. (4) FLIP THE SCRIPT has speed but also plenty of recent tiring efforts. Maybe new driver Kakaley gets more out of her.
Race 4: 3-5YO NW7 races or $75,000 lifetime Pace
(1) JUST BET IT ALL has been picking up checks in stakes action recently and the Engblom trainee should appreciate the class relief. Perfect spot for Bartlett to control the action. (6) MY MIKI BEACH has sat the pocket in all six seasonal starts and that may be the trip Kakaley will be looking for again. (3) TASTE OF HONEY finished third in his last two NYSS tests; Burke trainee should land another good share.
Race 5: NW10051 in last 5 starts Pace
(7) RJ SPORTS IMAGE has dominated on the front end in his two local starts and while the Engblom trainee bumps up another notch and lands outside he looks sharp enough to take another. (1) JUDDY DOUGLAS A was much better last week when second best. (3) NUTTIN BUT FINESSE found a good spot at The Meadowlands last start and scored as the favorite; prior form versus high-conditioned stock up at Saratoga was good.
Race 6: 3-5YO NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace
(6) UP THE CREEK has been looking good recently at Philly and now he moves to the Bongiorno barn as he makes his Yonkers debut. Joe B figures to be forwardly placed here. (3) METAL MAN looked like he was ready for more after a couple of sharp wins here in NW2 but things didn't go so well for the Alexander trainee in the NYSS. This is obviously a more comfortable spot. (4) WE SHALL SEA tired three days ago at Goshen but was much-improved here the start prior.
Race 7: NW15885 in last 5 starts Pace
(6) ULTIMAROCA was bet down to 6/5 despite starting from the eight hole in his debut for the Gillis barn but he never got involved. He drops a class here and hopefully he'll have more to offer. (4) HECANDANCENCRUISE went sent to the front last week and sizzled in a 1:50 4/5 mile. Bongiorno trainee can obviously repeat. (2) JM'S FINALTREASURE arrived locally for Burke last week and raced well to just miss. He's another with a legit chance in this competitive race.
Race 8: NW21631 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) PHOENIX OF FLUZZY rode a comfortable pocket trip to a second-place finish last week at a price and he figures to offer value again facing a field with some question marks. (5) SPEED MAN N is one of my favorites and is consistent as they come but he was scratched sick last week and does have speed inside of him. Mixed feelings tonight. (3) JAHAN HANOVER was up against the sharp Splash Brother in his last couple; he drops back down a notch and draws well enough.
Race 9: 3-5YO NW4 races or $53,356 lifetime Pace
(3) ALL CLASS arrives locally with an impossible to ignore barn change to Englbom and he gets the leading driver Bartlett back in the bike. Drawing outside top contender #2 probably limits his options but perhaps he can convert from just off the pace. (2) IM HUNGRY dominated this class two back and goes for four straight overall. (5) HURRIKANE JONNYBOY upset a NW6 field last week but despite dropping back down to NW4 running into the top two choices probably relegates him to a smaller share.

Race 10: 3-5YO NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace
(5) RAYRAY was hinting at a better effort last week and he gamely wore down the big favorite after pulling pocket; sharp sort may be ready to tackle a bit better. (1) ONE CRAZY GUY should be looking at a live trip starting from the rail. (4) BANDITO JOE got a late start to his 3YO campaign when was scratched sick in just his second try. He seems to have the talent but is tough to take on top as the possible favorite.
Race 11: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
(5) GOLDEN QUEST N was right there in all recent starts and finally broke through last week with a nice front-end score. She's got a tough one inside of her in (2) MIKI ROSE but she will likely offer the better value. The latter was also knocking on the door before last week's going-away win; impossible not to include her. (8) COWGIRL LILLY, (7) WILDCAT ANTONIA and (6) CORAL BELLA are all regulars in this class and any of them could round out the tri and super at a big price with a smooth trip.
