Race 1: $12,500 Claiming Pace
(3) GYPSY LEATHER has a pretty decent local history and he returns into a soft field, from a good post. (5) AMERCAN NITRO went evenly last week in his first off the Devita claim, which was an improvement after stopping the week prior. (6) ROGER MACH EM is one of the few Dowse trainees who has disappointed; can't count him out, however.

Race 2: NW1 race or $12,500 Lifetime Pace
(3) HURRIKANEKINGCARLO is another in a long line of "Kane" horses that aren't always the most consistent overall but this guy has flashed good speed and should be heading to the front. (1) TRIBAL SPORT gives Yonkers a try after tearing it up at Monti. (2) JOSE raced evenly from the three hole last week in a needed start and he seems capable of showing more tonight.

Race 3: NW2 races or $25,000 Lifetime Pace
(5) NORTHERN BACARRAT finally broke into the win column with a game uncovered win last week and he gets another chance at this NW2 condition; he's clearly been the most consistent overall in here. (3) OLD TOWN ROAD gets much-needed post relief and figures to be more involved. (1) MACHPHEUS is fresh stock shipping in for DiDomenico and he draws the rail picking up Brennan; gelding deserves a look.
Race 4: NW2 races or $25,000 Lifetime Pace
(8) COMANCHE CREEK is another new arrival from Canada joining the DiDomenico barn. He's missed a bit of time and is saddled with post eight but he's looked good at Georgian and is worth using if he seems "live". (1) BARRYWHITE HANOVER figures to be blasting off from the rail; candidate to go wire-to-wire. (5) ANDRES HANOVER was a 19/1 winner upon arrival for Andrew Harris; he can repeat but won't offer much value.
Race 5: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) QUATRAIN BLUE CHIP was a good second last week facing better and the Garcia-Herrera trainee should be able to get it done dropping to the NW5000 ranks. (6) GODS SPIRIT N tired badly in his last two over at The Meadowlands but three back he was a good second in a 1:50 mile; Shane Tritton trainee looks like a good fit here. (1) BUSH MAN N seems to have picked up his game a bit recently but he's 0 for 38 over the last two seasons.
Race 6: NW4 races or $50,000 Lifetime Pace
(4) CAPTAIN SLEAZE tired last out at Pocono chasing a vicious back half but his prior starts at Yonkers were solid and Holland will have him pointed to the front here. (2) BRAZEN BRAZILIAN doesn't win often but he likes to chase and pick up checks. (7) SARANAC BLUE CHIP was overmatched in NYSS competition but he was looking good in prior Yonkers starts and Siegelman is back driving.
Race 7: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) SEMI TOUGH had some good efforts in the Borgata earlier this year and was outbattled last week in a solid try; Burke trainee is well-spotted here and looks the best. (5) LEVINE was second best recently to the talented Splash Brother, who came back to win again the other night; second best. (1) FLYING FINN N faces a tough task winning here but he can tag along close-up and pick up a piece.
Race 8: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) REDBANK BLAZE A has been holding his own recently with much better than these and the class relief can get him over the top. (5) SO MANY ROADS exited the age-conditioned ranks last start for Lachance and beat a NW5000 group; he steps up a notch and seems capable with a live trip. (2) MIDNIGHT LIGHTNING figures to be saving ground at a price looking to shake free late.
Race 9: NW4 races or $50,000 Lifetime Pace
(2) JESSICAS BEACH BOY was much-improved first time out off the Milici claim and he can get it done here with a good trip. (4) LINNYCALLEDFRANKIE got the best of the top choice last week and is an obvious candidate to repeat. (5) ARTIST BEST blew away a lesser field last week and he'll have to go faster here to overtake the one two.
Race 10: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) THE REAL ONE is tough to take at his expected short price but unless someone else steps up his game the Lachance trainee should be able to grind these down. (6) DON DOMINGO N is just 1 for 19 on the season but the veteran does fit well with this type and should be a good price. (1) LA PLAYER A has shown little since arriving in the U.S. but he does drop in class again and draws inside.

Race 11: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace
(7) SHADOW CAT gets another tough draw but he's been good for an extended period of time and he's worthy of serious consideration facing softer. (2) GENTLEMANJIM II IE was a game second last week from a similar spot. (4) RUNRUNJIMMYDUNN N also takes a needed drop in class and he's beaten better in the not-too-distant past.
Race 12: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) HEAVEN'S GAIT isn't the easiest horse to guess right on but he rallied well last out from a tough spot and now lands a much better post; Devita trainee is one of a handful that can take the finale. (1) ANTHEM N does his best work a level or two down but he should be in line for a live trip from the rail. (4) IMSTAYINALIVE worked his way up to the Open ranks and now he's descending the ladder for Lachance; he was a winner when last at this NW15000 level.
