:quality(75))
2026 MEET STATS: 189 - 575 / $1,048.70 (-$101.30)
BEST BETS: 35 - 60 / $117.92 (-$2.08)
BEST BET: LYONS FRANKY J (6th)
SPOT PLAY: THE MIKI TAKER A (2nd)
Race 1: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace
(6) REMI LOU A has been good for Bongiorno in her last two after returning from The Meadowlands and figures to offer a bit of value having drawn outside her main competition. (3) SPIRIT OF PEARL A was a strong pocket-pulling winner in her debut for Laterza and obviously looms large here. (2) KATIES UP returns from Kentucky for the Engblom barn and she's been a consistent performer here in the past.

Race 2: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) THE MIKI TAKER A is 0 for forever since arriving in North America for the Shane Tritton barn but he's raced pretty well in some recent Pocono efforts and he lands the rail in his local return. Maybe he trips out here. (2) PYRO went fast and fizzled out last week; veteran has clearly seen better days but still has the speed to be a factor. (5) KIMBLE A brushed and crushed last start with Marohn and he's back driving.
Race 3: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
(1) MADDIE'S DELITE bounced back with a solid win last out after burning money the start prior, her first off the Laterza claim. From the rail this 4YO has a legit chance to repeat. (5) OVER ICE was outbattled by the top one in a much-improved try when she had drawn better; similar effort puts her right there again. (2) SWEET ODDS gets Bartlett in her local return and the last two times he drove this Engblom trainee she was live.
Race 4: 3-5YO Winners of 2-4 races or $60,000 LT Pace
Fun matchup again between two recent Down-Under shippers. (1) MOONSHINER N just missed in his debut then won his last two authoritatively. Bongiorno charge is in a controlling position again and is the one to catch. (5) RAGNAR LOTHBROK N has been every bit as good as the top one but will probably be relegated to chasing again. (3) ALWAYS BET ON ME was no match to the top two last week but overall he's been rock-solid since entering the Burke barn.
Race 5: 3-5YO NW2 races or $30,000 LT Pace
(4) ENTER SANDMAN was actually a winner in his career debut for Pat Lachance after a sharp last quarter in that race at Philly. 3YO seems like he's already ahead of the career curve and maybe he's ready to take a quick second step. (5) THE RASCAL N took all the money in his second North American start but was a distant second; almost definitely will be favored again. (2) CALLMEBIGPAPI finished close in a fast mile at Pocono last out.
Race 6: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) LYONS FRANKY J was strong late to narrow the gap late in his Yonkers (and Engblom) debut after arriving from Canada and though he steps up a notch he looks ready to break out with a big effort. (2) WHATS STANLEY GOT A was no match from the pocket last week but he's generally better than that. (1) JABBAR gets major post relief after being stuck in the seven hole the past two starts.
Race 7: NW23251 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) BANDERAS wasn't a factor last start from the outside post after wiring the field the start prior. Burke trainee is back inside with a chance to take control. (7) HOWLENTHEHILLS is clearly the class of the contest dropping down to a softer spot and he's got the early speed to get into play. (3) PANETTONE HANOVER finished a close second in his last two for Joe B.
Race 8: NW16596 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) UDDERLY SWEET A broke through into the win column in his third start after arriving from Australia and gets a free ride at this level as he fits the NW8 lifetime condition. Import looms large from the rail. (4) MULLINAX makes his way back to Yonkers and was a six-time winner here last year; one to fear returning to Bartlett. (7) MATAI PHIL N drops a level, doesn't win that often but is a proven closer who can rally for a piece.

Race 9: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) DUNKIN' just missed in his second start after the long layoff and looks ready to score. (2) HEZA RISK TAKER A barely got the job done last out when he dropped to the bottom level at 1/9 odds. Steps back up a notch and picks up Bartlett. (3) HAMMERING HANK had impossible trips in his last two from the eight hole but three back he was in a similar spot and was nipped at odds-on.
Race 10: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) SAMHARA N has done little since the $30K claim at the beginning of June but this is by far the softest spot he's seen so let's see if the Laterza trainee can take advantage. (1) MUSIC HALL also drops, moves all the way in to the rail and he's got back class to him. Last year he was 16 for 37 with $180K banked, this year 1 for 21 with $31K earned. (3) IN EXCESS N ships down from Saratoga, departs the Stalbaum barn and moves to Devita. Bartlett gets the catch drive and I fear he'll be way overbet.
