2026 MEET STATS: 133 - 402 / $769.21 (-$34.79) BEST BETS: 24 - 41 / $78.80 (-$3.20) BEST BET: SWEET JOEL (5th) SPOT PLAY: COPPERFIELD (8th) Race 1: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace (5) MC ANGEL was a winner in her return to the Stratton barn and that was two straight for this outfit; can win again if not used too hard reaching contention. (3) ULTIMATE SPEED has hit the board in her last four races and lands an improved post; dangerous. (1) ADALECIA steps up off a form-reversing win and does draw best looking to repeat. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace (3) LAURIE LEE likely needed last week's start after missing some time with a sick scratch; she's done well here over the years and is capable of better. (1) WAITFOREVER N has the speed to protect rail position and figures to be looking at a live trip. (2) SHEER ARTISTRY N has been okay recently facing good competition and she drops in for a tag tonight; I think she'll fit well here. Race 3: NW7921 in last 5 starts Pace (6) HEZA RISK TAKER A is still winless on the season through 11 starts and failed to get involved in his last two from outside posts, but despite drawing poorly again he takes a significant drop in class. His final-quarter speed alone is enough to conquer these. (1) GINGRAS BEACH picks up a new set of hands with Kelly, draws best. (4) SHIPMASTER drops from $50K claimers but he's regressed badly in his last couple despite having added Lasix. Race 4: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace (1) TH COLBY invades from Pennsylvania off a nice win at Philly and Burke is a master at classifying his stock; 4YO fits under the AE condition here. (5) THE GREEK FREAK showed improvement on last week's drop and he's down in class again. (2) CHURCHVIEWFRANKL IR is a logical board candidate for Lachance. Race 5: 3-5YO NW2 races or $32,276 LT Pace (3) SWEET JOEL is still searching for the maiden-breaker and he was a good second last week upon arrival despite being outbattled late. This feels like the winning spot for the Alexander trainee. (7) KILLER BEE DEO does have a couple of wins at Monti to his credit and though he draws poorly again he has shown some speed in the past. Can Marohn take a shot off the gate? (2) WHISKEY VENOM offered little upon arrival but the Noel Daley trainee paced fast enough to be a player here; maybe offers more. Race 6: NW16841 in last 5 starts Pace (4) HEMSWORTH N may have a slight class edge on these and he is capable of winning in a variety of different ways. He can be an honest price in this competitive race. (1) HEZA CHARTTOPPER A is certainly the most logical but that often leads to being overbet. (5) ALWAYS A THRILL won comfortably last time but was dq'ed for bothering a rival, so at least he doesn't have to step up to face better than these. Missed time is a concern. Race 7: NW10451 in last 5 starts Pace (4) JETT STAR N was a major 'drop and pop' last week and he may be capable of parlaying that new form into another win against a shaky group. (5) IMA PERFECT CHOICE raced through the entire Borgata series and wasn't awful but he really burned money last start and will be bet again. (1) MYSWEETBOYMAX looks ok judging by that qualifier after that debacle on May 26. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8: NW22001 in last 5 starts Pace (6) COPPERFIELD was sent to the front from the outside post last week and faltered late but going back to prior efforts he finished in under 28 seconds in five of six starts. If Gingras can land midpack and get within reach late he's got the tools to get by, and will be an honest price. (4) BRUTALLYHANDSOME A returns to the Stratton barn via $50K reclaim and he is coming off a wicked 1:51 3/5 score in his finale for the Dilloian Jr. barn. Similar effort makes him scary here. (1) BLUE LOU has hit the board in six of seven and is in a great spot to do so again. Race 9: 3-5YO Winners of 2-4 races or $60,000 LT Pace (5) TWIN B FRESH BET gets a new driver tonight as Holland gets the call; he's been consistent in his Yonkers tries and just needs a little push to get over the hump. At a fair price from this midpack post I'll include. (1) PERFECT CABERNET destroyed Monti foes for the Shane Tritton barn and he also has a Meadowlands win in his brief career. (7) PAPI RICK is coming off a 1:50 3/5 win in a PASS race and the rapidly improving Daley trainee must be considered despite the post.
