MEET STATS: 101 - 301 / $527.30 (-$74.70)
BEST BETS: 14 - 26 / $46.80 (-$5.20)
Best Bet:
PROVOCATIVEPRINCEN (4th)
Spot Play: YAYAS HOT SPOT N (8th)

Race 1 - F&M NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace

(3) THE LADY SHERIFF was claimed by Garcia-Herrera prior to the shutdown and she was freshened up with that nice qualifier at Philly; barn has come back with live stock out of town so this one should be ready to go. (5) MAJORETTE ANGIE jogged in that Goshen qualifier and she had been facing better stock when last seen locally. (1) MORE THAN MANY has proven a solid fit at this NW5000 level and the Laterza trainee draws best off an effective qualifier.

Race 2 - NW8 races or $100,000 lifetime Trot

(1) SUMMIT CITY SWAN has shown improvement with the hobbles added and she has the benefit of two qualifiers under her belt; mare has a solid lifetime win record and could be ready to roll versus this talented group. (3) FULL RIGHTS has been a solid money-earner here, qualified well and Schnittker enlists a catch-driver. (7) WHIMZICAL CHAPTER ships north for Josh Green and looks like a good fit here as Bartlett's choice but is the missed time a concern? (8) SOUTHWIND AVENGER is a good one for Nifty Norman but this is a tough spot for his seasonal debut; keep an eye on him however.

Race 3 - F&M NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace

(4) AMATEUR HOUR hadn't been all that sharp in recent pari-mutuel efforts for a barn that's had some trouble winning races but maybe the time off did her some good. (2) TELLAWOMAN blew away a weak field prior to the time off and she qualified back twice for DiDomenico. (1) LINE DANCER doesn't win often but has good speed from the best draw.

Race 4 - NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace

(4) PROVOCATIVEPRINCEN should be able to call on his back class to dominate this group for Tritton/Stratton. (2) KENRICK N had been racing just evenly at this level while not a serious win threat but he draws well off an effective qualifier and gets Bartlett in the bike. (5) BELIEVEINTHESPIRIT was very game in defeat in his last pari-mutuel try and the veteran seems to fit well with these. (3) GRAND MASTER was a big upset winner versus lesser the last time Siegelman drove.

Race 5 - F&M Open Pace

(4) MAJOR OCCASION A put in a great effort in defeat last out at the Meadowlands, finishing second to Kissin In The Sand in a race timed in 1:47 4/5; classy mare gives the half-mile a try tonight and is clearly the one to beat. (5) SNOBBYTOWN and (3) GOLD ORCHID N both came out of the same race as the top choice and both were never involved at big prices; either or both should hit the ticket here. (6) IMAPRINCESSGEMMA A was clearly a bit short coming out of that Big M race but the Jenn Bongiorno trainee has been great in all her Yonkers starts.

Race 6 - F&M NW28300 in last 5 starts Pace

(2) MACHINHOPE went evenly in a needed start over the big track, in the aforementioned 1:47 4/5 mile; Noel Daley trainee gets Dexter Dunn in the bike tonight looking to control these. (4) WISHY WASHY GIRL rallied nicely in that second Gaitway qualifier and she's a proven commodity at this upper-conditioned level; Bartlett picks up the drive tonight. (3) KENDRA N is more fresh Down-Under stock for Peter Tritton and she clearly merits some respect. (1) SOMETHING REEL graduated out of the NW8 conditioned class and meets some tough ones here; at least she draws best and that should help her land a piece.

Race 7 - F&M NW17500 in last 5 starts Pace

(1) CAVIART CHERIE returns to the pari-mutuel wars for an unfamiliar trainer but she was a winner in that qualifier and she's got speed and back class while facing a suspect field. (4) ROCKIN THE BOYS A hails from top connections but she was a bit lacking in her last couple of local appearances. (5) QUITE A DELIGHT N has looked decent enough since joining the Matias Ruiz barn.

Race 8 - NW17500 in last 5 starts Pace

(1) YAYAS HOT SPOT N invades from Down-Under for the "other" Tritton barn, Shane and Lauren. We've all seen what they've been doing over at The Meadowlands and that makes this 10-year-old automatic selecting here. (4) MAROMA BEACH certainly looked good enough in those two Gaitway qualifiers for the DiDomenico barn and he'll be ready for action. (2) BELTANE A loses Stratton to the top choice but he seemed to be finding his stride for Lance Hudson prior to the shutdown. (6) MR WIGGLE PANTS is erratic but he does have plenty of speed.
