MEET STATS: 197 - 544 / $1,116.60 (+$28.60) BEST BETS: 26 - 55 / $82.80 (-$27.20) Best Bet: DRAGON SAID (11th) Spot Play: RAILIN JENNINGS (1st) Race 1: NW1 race lifetime Pace (4) RAILIN JENNINGS took plenty of money upon arrival from the Midwest but came up a bit short from the pocket. Erv Miller trainee likely benefitted from that trip over the track. (1) BRUSHING UP has shown some speed in limited lifetime action and he draws the innermost post; he should be in line for a live trip. (7) OLD TOWN ROAD hasn't shown much in three local starts this year but that was against straight NW2's; this field should be a bit more to his liking. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: NW6 races or $75,000 lifetime Pace (2) SALT LIFE jogged here in a start last month and most recently rallied to be second best in a fast time facing more seasoned foes up at Saratoga; he lands a good post in his local return and MacDonald may be looking to take control early. (5) MAJOR BEAN was bet to 2/1 in NYSS action last week at Buffalo and tired under late pressure; DiDomenico trainee put in two good races here last month. (4) TREVOR’S ACE also saw stakes action last out but never fired; Bartlett gets the return drive tonight and he should go well here. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace (1) SHAKESPEARE brushed to command last week in his local return, set a solid clip from there and was swallowed up in the late stages; he's got the talent to bounce back if not used as hard throughout the mile. (3) TAPPED TEEN was looming with a wide rally in the final turn last start but broke turning home, possibly costing him the win. He should be followed off that effort and should be a decent price. (4) WARRAWEE WHYNOT had good pace from the pocket last week pretty much on own to the wire; Shane Tritton trainee is still stuck on just one lifetime win but he likes to hit the board. Race 4: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace (3) HAGGARD has had some inconsistent efforts in his career but the talent is there, evidenced by that solid win last out at Northfield; he ships in debuting for new connections and could fit well this these. (2) SOHO CHELSEA A was facing better when last seen here and he lands a good post in his local return. (5) BENHOPE RULZ N has early speed in his arsenal so Siegelman may get aggressive off the gate. Race 5: NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace (2) NUTTIN BUT FINESSE settled midpack last week but came up a bit flat when called upon for a second move; he gets post relief tonight and a repeat of his effort two back may be good enough to handle these. (1) DANCING JOE also lands in a live inside spot; pocket trip to the top one? (8) BARRYWHITE HANOVER added Lasix for his local arrival and took a maiden field down the road; Devita trainee faces better now from the eight hole but he could have a chance here if away in good order. Race 6: NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace (2) WELL DONE SON was second best to a well-meant frontrunner last week; he faces some legit talent in here but everything the Gareth Dowse barn is sending out these days have been beyond live. (7) STOP STARING won a NYSS event last week at Buffalo making it three straight overall for the improving Schnittker trainee. (5) GAMBLINGTERROR added Lasix last week and was a good third after enjoying a smooth trip; he seems capable of a bit more improvement. Race 7: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace (1) ONE OFF DELIGHT A gets away from two consecutive eight holes and lands all the way inside which makes him an obvious player here, and possible favorite. (5) BILL HALEY N took money from an outside post last week at the NW10000 level and ended up getting towed nicely into the race, finishing a fast second. He figures to be somewhat closer to the action tonight. (4) KINNDER JACKSON was also bet strong and delivered last out; contender. Race 8: NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace (8) CAPTAIN SLEAZE was a good second to a stakes-placed rival last week and he's got plenty of early speed to overcome the eight hole; he can take this as long as he's not roughed up too much getting away from the gate. (1) ROLLING WITH SAM had nothing to offer last week, which was surprising given his prior form; can the Burke trainee bounce back? (5) BRAZEN BRAZILIAN is still shut out on the season but is a nice check-earner; Siegelman's choice. Race 9: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace (1) BETTOR THAN SPRING dropped and popped last out and now he begins his climb back up the conditioned ladder; he's got the class to take another. (3) BRONX SEELSTER was close up at the finish last week but he had to settle for third; he's starting to run out of excuses. (5) I'M BENECIO A sat the rail in his latest start and was buried with no chance; he's capable with these and will be a big price. Consider him to fill out tris and supers. Race 10: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace (1) NOCTURNAL BLUECHIP dropped to this level last week missed a neck to the heavy favorite after sitting the pocket trip; Stratton figures to take charge tonight and will have to be caught. (2) BLACK CHEVRON N got the job done when dropped to the basement; he moves back up a notch, has some class and figures to be the main threat to the top one. (8) MY DELIGHT was taken out of his last for $25K by DiDomenico and is well-classified here in NW7500 but he has to overcome the eight hole. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 11: NW8 races or $100,000 lifetime Pace (1) DRAGON SAID has been a completely different horse since moving to the Jenn Bongiorno barn; he was recently freshened up with a 1:50 qualifier at Gaitway and he looks to go six-for-six since the barn change. (4) DIAMONDBEACH came up a little short on the engine last week and had to settle for third; Bucci barn has been decent recently and this guy has talent. (5) GARDYS LEGACY A finished close up to some classy rivals last start at The Meadowlands and he looks like a good fit here but the trip seems uncertain. Race 12: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace (2) HOT DEUCE has regained his form down at Philly, finishing well after laying just off the pace; he was a winner here last time at this level. (5) WALKINSHAW N drops in class and figures to be more involved. (1) BETTING EXCHANGE doesn't win often but is usually a player from inside posts.
