MEET STATS: 209 - 646 / $1,066.90 (-$225.10) BEST BETS: 33 - 59 / $136.30 (+$18.30) Best Bet: COPPER TEEN (5th) Spot Play: CAPTAIN BUTLER (3rd) Race 1: 3-4YO F&M NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace (4) HEAVEN SENT ME arrived from Oak Grove in Kentucky last week and launched an impressive move to win going away. The Devita-trained filly faces much of the same here and figures to repeat as the heavy favorite. (3) IMAREALROCKINLADY is much-improved since moving to the Scott Betts barn and she ships in from Pennsylvania and looks like a good fit here. (7) CHILLIN BYTHE POOL won an Excelsior 'A' split recently at Monticello in 1:55 2/5 with Jordan Stratton driving; problem here is the outside post. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: 3-5YO NW 4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace (1) TIDAL SHARK was first-time out for a new barn last week (Bucci) and he paced evenly while not a threat to the 1:52 4/5 winner. He draws the best post in this soft field and Brennan should be able to work out a live trip. (7) STILL THIRSTY was favored last week but broke again. Price goes way up tonight from the outside post for those who stay on board with the Devita trainee. (6) PBR STREET GANG jogged in that Monti qualifier upon arrival from Ohio and the new addition to the Lance Hudson barn could be ready to go; watch the board. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: 3-4YO NW2 races or $27,825 lifetime Pace (4) CAPTAIN BUTLER made a nice move into the big favorite last week and continued gamely to be second best. Alagna trainee (owned by Sam Bowie) can build off that effort. (1) TEAM MAC held for a board spot last out facing NW4 types; he drops back with NW2 types and draws best again. (2) BET EIGHTTHIRTYONE arrives from Indiana for Erv Miller to make his three-year-old debut and looked much-improved in that second qualifier. Race 4: 3-5YO F&M NW6 races or $75,000 lifetime Pace (6) GABBY'S GIRL tried going down the road last week as the favorite but weakened late and was caught. Alexander trainee now has seven runner-up finishes in 13 starts this season but does look best here. (4) SUNSHINE SALLY recently added Lasix and maybe that helps out this Cory Stratton trainee. (8) COZ IM SPECIAL looks like he would be a prime contender here if not for the post, so consider him as a capable horse to add value to the exotics. Race 5: 3-5YO NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace (4) COPPER TEEN was second best at a big price in his first start after moving to the Per Engblom barn and Bartlett sticks with him from an improved post. (7) MY MIKI BEACH is two-for-two since arriving locally for the Dilloian barn and new driver Bongiorno will likely have him forwardly placed off the gate. (5) SPORTS SECTION moves in a few spots on the gate after being stuck in the 8 and 7 his last two. Race 6: 3-4YO NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace (3) BEST BETTOR finished decently in behind rivals last week and overall the Laterza trainee is much-improved from when we last saw him locally. Young driver Braxton Boyd has proven more than capable of holding his own. (4) LONE WOLF AMERICAN showed good improvement last start with Lasix recently added. (5) VARNEY has been just okay lately but he doesn't have much to beat here to land a board spot. Race 7: 3-5YO NW6 races or $98.030 lifetime Pace (4) AMERICANLIGHTNINGN had missed almost a month prior to his last start where he was lost at the back of the pack facing Open-quality horses at Pocono. Shane Tritton trainee won his last two races here at odds-on. (3) CERTIFIABLE also arrives from Pocono and he's rallied decently in his three starts coming off a long layoff. (2) BONDI SHAKE N was used in the early stages last week then got caught in as the leader was quitting but he emerged with decent pace; Siegelman trainee is capable. (1) VELOCITY MCSWEETS lands the best post again and will be in line for another stalking trip. (3) POPPY DRAYTON N rallied for a small share from a tough spot in her first for the Cory Stratton barn; veteran knows how to win. Race 9: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace (1) I'M J BEE N was a solid winner here a couple of months ago in a NW5000 pop-up event and has been facing better since competing in that series. DiDomenico trainee lands the best post at this reduced level. (4) LATE MAIL N returns from the amateur wars at The Meadowlands and picks up Bongiorno. Overall he's been a disappointment considering he was claimed for $30K back in January but he does find a decent spot here. (5) DARLING'S DRAGON was second best facing NW7500 in his local return for Donald DuPont and he's won multiple times here in the past.
