Yonkers: Analysis for Tuesday 6/15

MEET STATS: 197 - 544 / $1,116.60 (+$28.60)
BEST BETS: 26 - 55 / $82.80 (-$27.20)
Best Bet: BARRYWHITE HANOVER (1st)
Spot Play: I'M BENECIO A (9th)
Race 1: 3YO C&G Maiden Pace
(4) BARRYWHITE HANOVER has finished second four times already in his brief career as he arrives from Pocono for the live Devita barn; it's too early to label him camera shy as I expect him to break through here at a short price. (3) RAILIN JENNINGS ships in from the big tracks in the midwest where the youngster hasn't shown a whole lot, except for decent last quarters; assume Erv Miller wouldn't ship him here if he couldn't handle the half-miler. (1) BIDEN NATION tailed off in the late stages last start through the quick back half but he was a decent second here in his prior race.

Race 2: NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace
(2) SHAKESPEARE was third best here in the Reynolds last month chasing a couple of talented rivals; he should be able to dominate these with anything close to that effort. (1) THINKING OF SLIM raced well last start for a third-place check and now the Gillis trainee gets major post improvement. (3) TAPPED TEEN gave way last out after grinding on the rim at Philly in a PA Stallion race but his prior start was a solid speed try and tough beat.

Race 3: NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace
(2) WELL DONE SON put in a solid effort last out to be second best at a price; he hails from the suddenly hot Dowse barn and must be given much respect from this spot. (7) NUTTIN BUT FINESSE beat up NW1's here at 10 cents on the dollar; Bartlett sticks with him but he does face better here from a poor post and will need to be alert off the gate. (4) DANCING JOE was a winner here two back then had no chance last out from the eight hole; he'll be more involved tonight.
Race 4: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) OURLITTLEGENERAL A is not the most consistent type but he has picked up his game recently at Monticello and the classy veteran has a post edge on his main rivals. (5) COLUMBO had been racing well recently at Freehold and he seems like a good fit here. (7) LAREDO TORPEDO N returns locally now in the Dowse barn and Bartlett sticks with him.
Race 5: NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace
(2) WARRAWEE WHYNOT has been performing well facing some minor stakes competition in Pennsylvania and he lands inside here (with NW2 getting a post advantage) for the Shane Tritton barn, which seems to be out of its funk. (4) ROLLING WITH SAM finally broke through into the win column last week at Philly for Burke with a solid 1:51 4/5 score. (3) CRUNCH HANOVER also has had some good moments recently racing in the PA Stallion series.
Race 6: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) KEY ADVISOR had no real chance in his last two local tries when facing better from poor posts but he lands in a decent spot tonight and he can be an okay price. (3) MACH IT SO seems to be winding down after a sensational career which sees him inching towards the $3 million earnings mark; two back he gave way badly late on the front end versus better but hopefully he can still be competitive with this type. (5) RAPTORS FLIGHT N is another Dowse trainee I'll tab for improvement.
Race 7: NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace
(6) BILLY CLYDE exits PA Sire Stakes races and take a look at the power he was facing in those events; Schnittker trainee certainly didn't disgrace himself facing those rivals. (8) SPRINGBRIDGE DUEL is a recent addition to the Jenn Bongiorno barn and he just missed out of an eight hole here last start. Unfortunately he's stuck outside again and has also missed more time than the rest in here. Hopefully Joe B can get him in play. (1) GAMBLINGTERROR figures to be close to the pace throughout which can help him land a share.
Race 8: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) YACHT SEELSTER has dreadful current form facing better at The Big M and he returns to Yonkers looking to wake back up. He's hit the board all four times here this season (with a win). (1) EPIC ACE was used hard to secure the front and just kept going for the game win last start; he faces better now but does draw best. (4) NOCTURNAL BLUECHIP drops in class for a driver/trainer combo that's been live and this veteran will make his presence felt in here.
Race 9: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) I'M BENECIO A never got involved last out but was aggressively handled the start prior at a big price facing better; I'm confident this import can go with these and he should be a decent price as well. (1) FLAMING FLUTTER N was dull in his first start back from vacation but I suppose he'll be tighter tonight. (4) MISTER SPOT A returns from Freehold and looks like a legit speed threat.
Race 10: NW8 races or $100,000 lifetime Pace
(6) BLANK STARE raced very well in defeat in two tries here last month while facing some classy veterans; he returns locally now in a NW conditioned event and could get it done at a decent price with a live trip. (3) QUAGMIRE BLUECHIP is reunited with Bartlett, who seems to get along well with this 5-year-old. (4) SIMON SAYS HANOVER ships in for Alagna coming off an easy win in the Stallion series in PA.

Race 11: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace
(8) HERRICKROOSEVELT N may be a stretch from post eight but he gets some needed class relief and faces a field with plenty of question marks. He would probably be the favorite here with a good draw, but now we may get double-digits. (2) CHRISTEN ME N is not in best form now and needs to show more late, yet he still looks more attractive than others in here. (4) KNOCKING AROUND has missed a month and is coming off a sick scratch; maybe underneath?
Race 12: NW6 races or $75,000 lifetime Pace
(2) COALITION HANOVER was second best to a good one in the Reynolds last month and he returns into this overnight event with a major post edge on the favored (7) EXPLOIT is clearly the most accomplished in here and it's hard to ignore that last effort at The Meadowlands. What kind of a trip is he in for tonight? (1) IDEAL ARTILLERY gets the rail after three consecutive eight holes.
