Race 1: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace - Italian Invasion Friendship Race

This race figures to have some action so perhaps the sharp (7) PINK RUBY can get dragged into contention with a live flow by her Italian provisional driver. (3) PLEASURE SEEKER and (4) MARATHON MARY both have amateurs who have been around since the Stone Age. #3 takes a needed drops in class and #4 has hit the board in her last three at this level.

Race 2: $60,000-$75,000 Claiming Pace

(4) QUALITY BUD got Zeron in the bike last week and was able to save ground before angling and kicking home in :27 1/5 to rally for second. Classy veteran seems to be facing a bit easier tonight and has some unreliable speed inside of him. (2) TRAIN STATION was in NW2 lifetime not too long ago but he's progressed nicely and now drops in for a tag for live connections. (1) YNOTTHISHOS is likely to be cutting the pace here but I'm not sure he can last the duration.

Race 3: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace - Italian Invasion Friendship Race

(2) ROLL WITH SHORTY was a nice winner two back, had traffic last week. Good post and competent driver gets her top billing. (4) MISS MAYCEE is a nose and a head shy of a three-race win streak; Anthony Verruso lands the Estrada trainee. (3) SHEIKH YABOOTY N is a proven money-earner in this class and could round out a U.S. driver trifecta.

Race 4: $60,000-$75,000 Claiming Pace

(1) ROCK DIAMONDS N was a judges scratch last night and is entered for a tag here. Tough to overlook how well the veteran is going lately. (4) SAILBOAT HANOVER was recently reclaimed by the Laterza barn and was a solid second last week when nailed by #6 in here. Consistent sort should land a nice piece. (5) SHINE A LIGHT is tagged for $60K for Engblom and he may be the only early threat to top choice #1.

Race 5: NW12806 in last 5 starts Pace

(2) UP THE CREEK is up in class off a tough beat and he faces a field that's a bit camera-shy. Last time at this level he had a couple of tough posts but tonight it looks like the Bongiorno trainee finds a winning spot. (3) GREG THE LEG gave it a solid try from the eight hole last week on the dropdown but that was with regular driver Holland, who likes to blast. Zeron gets the call here and he deserves a lot of respect. (4) SHADOW CAT does get some class relief but faces an uncertain trip with speed to his inside.

Race 6: NW15291 in last 5 starts Pace

(1) SOUTHWIND PETYR had a big season here last year and after four starts off the layoff he seems to be rounding into peak form again. Top call from the rail. (3) THUNDER HUNTER JOE was in three legs of this year's Borgata and looked a tad outclassed. Like #1 he's looking to get fully unleashed after a big 2023. (4) KINGSVILLE is good but faces a tall order landing outside the top two. Use underneath.

Race 7: F&M $60,000-$75,000 Claiming Pace

Enough with these five-horse fields already...great if you're an owner I guess. Anyhoo, it's tough to look past (3) JIVE DANCING A. Powerful winner of the Matchmaker consolation from post eight, she dropped in for a tag last week and took her four rivals down the road. Looks to repeat at a short price, though she does add a different driver into the mix. (2) NO WIN NO FEED A hasn't won in a while but she shows up with her all every start and will be right there throughout. (5) CREME DELIGHT may face a tough uphill climb despite the short field.

Race 8: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace

(3) PARADISE ROCK L is a proven entity with this type, lands a reasonable enough post, picks up Kakaley and the barn has been going well. (4) ONEDERFULBEACH is a bit inconsistent but she won from a similar spot two back. (1) BADDITUDE is a legit speed threat from the rail.

Race 9: 2-5YO NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace

(7) RENAISSANCE DEO was a huge price in his first two career starts at The Meadowlands but that second one wasn't bad at all. Since coming over to Yonkers the Shane Tritton trainee has jogged in three straight and he still fits this class. (1) YANKEE CLOUT has a second and a third so far since arriving locally and this barn does well here making money. (3) TIN CUP CHALICE returns from the Weiss series at Pocono looking like a more seasoned horse. Bako trainee looms a threat.

Race 10: F&M $25,000 Claiming Pace

(1) TERACITA was hammered to 1/5 off the DiDomenico claim but gave up too much ground to (4) SAUBLE DELIGHTFUL as that one scampered away first-time Bartlett. With the post edge let's see if she can turn the tables. (2) PRINCESS ARONA gave way on the lead after clearing from post eight in the same race as the top two. Tonight may be more of a ground-saving mission.

Race 11: 3-5YO Winners 3-5 races or $60,000 lifetime Pace

(3) FANTOME EN JOIE was second best to a strong winner last week after jogging himself the start prior. Lachance trainee draws a decent post and figures to be forwardly placed in the finale. (2) SUNBAD N was a sharp second as well last week in a needed start and the Pete Tritton trainee could be even stronger tonight. (8) ESCAPE TO AMERICA showed some promise as a freshman and qualified back nicely at Pocono with Bartlett in the bike, and he chooses this 3YO over a very logical Shane Tritton entrant whom he drives every week.
