2026 MEET STATS: 122 - 356 / $688.79 (-$23.21) BEST BETS: 23 - 36 / $74.26 (+$2.26) BEST BET: LYONS BENJAMIN (9th) SPOT PLAY: INVISIBLE N (5th) Race 1: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace (5) DASH N CACHE put in an honest effort in defeat last week after cutting the mile from the eight hole and now she improves to a midpack post. This class is always very competitive so it may make sense to use prices, and this one should offer serious value losing her regular driver Gingras. (4) ILLUSION SEELSTER was uninvolved facing the guys in her local return and obviously she fits better here. (7) DISARONO HILL has been very consistent for good connections and she's overcome poor posts in the past. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: F&M $25,000 Claiming Pace (3) DW'S DARLENE is a neck shy of a three-race winning streak and has been a solid claim for these connections; loses his regular driver Bongiorno (as he trains #6) but Holland gets the call and she can be sent to the front. (1) MC ANGEL steps up a notch off the Daguet reclaim and Dube won with her four back. (4) MAYBEMABEL stepped up to $25's last week and won again; Bartlett drives looking for three straight. Race 3: 3-5YO Winners of 1 not more than 4 races or $60,000 LT Pace (4) TWIN B FRESH BET has hit the board in all six races as a 4YO including a win two back at Philly. With his early speed he has a tactical edge on these, including a couple of interesting rivals to his outside. (3) ALABAMA LUCKY is just 1 for 39 lifetime but has hit the ticket in 19 of those races; Schnittker trainee surprisingly draws the worst post he's seen this season coming from the three hole and he'll be close again. (5) ZEBS KRAFTY invades from Canada to join the Bako barn after winning last time with Lasix added. (6) DRAMAS A merits a mention as yet another Down-Under shipper, this one for Engblom, and Bartlett drives. Qualifier was fine but he draws worst and who knows what to expect tonight. Race 4: 3-5YO Winners of 5 not more than 7 races or $90,000 LT Pace (4) GANNON'S VELOUCITY was a winning machine out of town but the Burke trainee has missed in two straight YR tries; tonight's the night. (2) FORWARD FLASH wired this type from the seven hole last out; threat to repeat moving inside. (1) BETTOR NOT draws the rail, gets the leading driver in the bike. (3) CAPTAIN FEAR just missed as the favorite last week and is a player again. Race 5: NW8391 in last 5 starts Pace (3) INVISIBLE N has finished in under 28 seconds in his last three races while uninvolved from poor posts. Move inside makes him very interesting. (4) FORTIFY hasn't been good in two starts since returning from the layoff but note the barn change to Engblom which means Bartlett drives. (1) LEVINE doesn't win often but the drop and the rail draw figures to set him up with a live trip. Race 6: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace (3) ACUSHLA MACHRHEE N drops in for a tag after facing tougher competition so far in her 0 for 10 season; Dilloian Jr. trainee moves back inside and I suspect she'll be a perfect fit here. (2) MISS PERIGNON N won her last with ease from a similar spot and was claimed; we'll see if she can keep it up for her new connections. (4) YS SENSATIONALCITY has to be dropped to third in tonight's selections based on her current form after usually being a (sometimes) successful top choice for me. If she wins tonight she's paying a big price. Race 7: NW16751 in last 5 starts Pace (7) YOUNG BLUEY A did enjoy a comfy trip in his U.S. debut but he won powerfully with a sub-:27 last quarter. Fits this class again and must be followed up despite the post. (3) BONDI LOCKDOWN A has come up a bit short in his last few but he drops a level and draws well enough. (2) BLUE LOU also drops and generally races as well as he draws so expect him to be in the hunt again. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace (3) TWISTED DESTINY drops from the Borgata series where the 4YO certainly didn't embarrass himself and finds this much more appealing spot. Chris Ryder trainee should be good to go as one of the logical choices. (5) TOBINS CHESTER was a winner last time Bartlett drove. (8) RENALDO N came up just short in a 1:51 3/5 mile last week after adding Lasix. Is the eight hole a killer or does the import have enough speed for Lauren Tritton to utilize? Race 9: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace (5) LYONS BENJAMIN finds the softest spot he's seen in ages and I'm thinking Kakaley won't let the opportunity pass with the Alexander trainee. (3) AVENGER FORCE raced decently last week at a big price when dropped to this level and he should take some play here as a result. (1) STONEBRIDGE WIZARD makes ust the 16th start of his career and Yonkers debut off a so-so local qualifier. Doesn't exactly get the blood pumping at his 6/5 ML.
