Yonkers: Analysis for Tuesday 5/25

MEET STATS: 188 - 513 / $1,054.50 (+$28.50)
BEST BETS: 26 - 52 / $82.80 (-$21.20)
Best Bet: TWIN B SPEEEDO (10th)
Spot Play: KEYSTONE NOLAN (3rd)
Race 1: NW1 race or $12,000 lifetime Pace
(5) NUTTIN BUT FINESSE returns from Pocono off a couple of decent efforts with Bartlett driving and he sticks with this 3-year-old over an Andrew Harris trainee. (1) BIDEN NATION was second best last out in just his second lifetime start; obvious player here with Kakaley getting the drive. (4) UNWRITTEN RULE hasn't done much so far in his career but maybe the change of scenery helps the DiDomenico trainee.

Race 2: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) TALK SHOW came up a bit short from the pocket last week but it was certainly a live effort; he bumps up to face a bit better here but he's arguably the sharpest of the group. (4) MISTER REBBILY A has seriously disappointed lately but he takes another drop in class tonight. (5) VELOCITY KOMODO rallied for minor shares in his last two in Pennsylvania and he was a contender in all his prior local efforts at this level.

Race 3: NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace
(2) KEYSTONE NOLAN finished very willingly last week, his second local start for Lachance after shipping down from Canada; continued improvement and a smooth trip can land him in the winner's circle (if there was one). (4) HE'S A SNOB was second best coming out of the same race as the top choice and the Schnittker trainee has been pretty solid in his last five starts. (1) PATRIOT LINE gets Bartlett back in the bike and he lands the innermost post for his local return; Harris trainee should be close-up throughout.
Race 4: NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace
(5) SARANAC BLUE CHIP wired a NW2 field two back then gave it a good speed try facing better last week before tiring; he's back at the winning level and should be heading to the front again. (8) DANCING JOE beat the top choice last week when making just his second seasonal start; he moves all the way outside but gets Holland back in the bike, who hasn't been shy recently about sending one. (2) STOP STARING beat maidens last start and paid $2.10 to win; obvious threat to repeat stepping up a notch.
Race 5: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) YAYAS HOT SPOT N picked up checks in the Borgata and it's surprising to see him fall off the map so quickly; barn may be showing some signs of life, however, which makes this import worth following. (2) ENERGYZONE HANOVER jogged at Freehold in his first start for this barn; Bartlett opted off for the top choice but the gelding picks up Brennan and he seems like he'll be a good fit here. (5) BETTER UP picked up a fifth-place check when he paced in 1:52 4/5 facing NW6 types; others from the Milici barn have been going well recently.
Race 6: NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace
(4) GAMBLINGTERRROR has been a steady earner recently without a win to show for it but he took some tote action last week and finished well, so maybe the Stafford trainee is ready to score. (3) CRYSTAL BEACH was a nice 14/1 winner last out; he seems capable of repeating but will offer lower value. (1) TREVOR'S ACE gest post relief and should be in line for a good trip; barn is surprisingly 0 for 46, however.
Race 7: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) MOHAWK WARRIOR takes a needed drop in class and should respond; note he was a winner when last at this level. (1) IDEAL WHEEL is unproven with this type but he does draw best and could work out a live trip. (6) NOCTURNAL BLUECHIP has been a disappointment since arriving from Canada but he's got too much class to ignore.
Race 8: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) ANTHEM N drops to the basement for Pete Tritton and he's supposed to wire these. (3) CENTURY FURY finished well in his first start off the Temming claim and he also drops in class while drawing better; main threat. (7) DA MAGICIAN was heavily bet upon arrival from Pocono but offered nothing; now he'll be a big price and perhaps he can spice up the Tri or Super.

Race 9: NW6 races or $75,000 lifetime Pace
(1) KEYSTONE DAKOTA has been super since moving to the Beckwith barn and he gets another crack at NW6 types. He faces an interesting rival in (3) RHYTHM IN MOTION but he deserves top billing. The latter had a solid 3-year-old season up in Canada and he faced some tough ones in his seasonal debut at The Meadowlands. (4) DIAMOND BEACH suddenly developed some gait issues but he qualified back in good order and based on his prior body of work he deserves a long look here.
Race 10: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) TWIN B SPEEEDO hasn't been at his best recently but the upside to that is he now fits this NW7500 condition; Burke trainee can get well in a hurry. (2) ITALIAN DELIGHT N took money from the eight hole last week facing better and never got close but he did pass a few; post relief helps. (6) GHOST DANCE ran away and hid in his first start for DiDomenico; he faces much better tonight but he does have some back class.
