2026 MEET STATS: 122 - 356 / $688.79 (-$23.21) BEST BETS: 23 - 36 / $74.26 (+$2.26) BEST BET: MYSWEETBOYMAX (9th) SPOT PLAY: TOPVILLE SOMBEACH (4th) Race 1: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace (4) JIVE DANCING A threw in a bit of a clunker last out but her prior form was stellar and this classmaster is in a good spot to make the lead and go the distance. (2) IDEALINFUN is 0 for 11 on the year but maybe the drop in class and new driver can shake her up a bit. (1) TH SANDRA DEE set a life mark at Pocono two back and that was a decent third recently at The Meadowlands; she gets Bartlett in her local return and looks like she can fit with these. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: 3-5YO NW2 races or $38,104 LT Pace (3) SPY CRAFT is a lightly-raced 5YO who was caught in some fast miles at Monti in his first starts off a long layoff and then was a good second at Tioga; he picks up Zeron upon arrival and draws well enough to make an impact. (4) ADAM CHEESEHEAD outraced his odds in his Yonkers debut for the Alexander barn and it's logical to think he'll have more to offer this time around. (7) DRAMAS A had to settle for third in his first two starts upon arrival from Australia. Bartlett drives again for Engblom and must be considered despite the poor draw. Race 3: F&M $25,000 Claiming Pace This looks like a competitive six-horse affair, and if (5) ULTIMATE SPEED can make the front like she did last week when dropped to this level I think she can make it the distance. (2) DW'S DARLENE was quickly reclaimed by the DiDomenico barn and has been razor-sharp for these connections; deserving favorite. (3) SPIRIT OF PEARL A debuts for new connections off the $20K claim and is worth a look. Race 4: NW12321 in last 5 starts Pace (3) TOPVILLE SOMBEACH has been popular recently at the claim box but back with DiDomenico he shifts to what may be a softer conditioned field and has a shot if he can return to the form he had a couple of months ago. (1) ROLLING WITH SAM bumps up off a solid win, draws best. (4) JOEL AND THE JETS has been off for six months and faces more seasoned foes off just an okay qualifier. Do we need to see one? Race 5: NW7671 in last 5 starts Pace (5) THIRSTY THURSDAY stormed home to win his seasonal debut at Pocono for the Oakes barn and the 4YO was a solid earner at two and three; with Bartlett getting the call he could be even stronger tonight. (2) BLACK EDITION N gets an interesting barn change to Bongiorno as he arrives from Buffalo and he draws well. (4) CHALK HANOVER arrives from Plainridge for Stratton off two toss-out lines when drew poorly versus good rivals. Race 6: 3-5YO Winners of 5-7 races or $90,000 LT Pace (3) FORWARD FLASH beat this type three back and followed that up with a couple of honest efforts, his latest timed in 1:51 4/5. Looks like the Kelvin Harrison trainee is primed for a return to the winner's circle. (2) ODDS ON NO LIMIT has been a money burner both here and at Pocono so I'll slot the Alexander trainee underneath; should be in line for a good trip. (1) THE FAMILY MAN hasn't seen the inner half of the gate since the end of March. Race 7: NW16376 in last 5 starts Pace (2) COALFORD TOPGUY GB has been first or second in 7 of 11 this year and while he finally has to step up to face better this will be a good acid test for the Engblom trainee. He can offer value with Bartlett opting for #5. (3) VERDUN is still winless on the season but it's not like he's been bad by any means. Classy Lachance trainee will enter the win column sooner rather than later. (7) RAILROAD STATION jogged upon arrival for Burke; 4YO faces a tougher task tonight from out there. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace (7) MISS PERIGNON N was reclaimed by Laterza and she was a winner for these connections with Holland two back. She will be moving forward early and if she can make the front she'll be tough to catch. (4) MADDIE'S DELITE was a well-rated winner from the rail in her local debut; clearly she can repeat but will probably have to work harder. (6) ACUSHLA MACHREE N has Bartlett again for good connections but generally hasn't shown a ton of early speed which could hurt her chances for the top two spots. Race 9: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace (1) MYSWEETBOYMAX finds the softest spot he's seen in ages and is unlikely to let the opportunity pass; short price. (5) TEXAS HOLDEM was second best in his last two tries at this NW5000 level. (3) PRINTVILLE lands the best post he's seen since January and should be able to hit the board at a minimum.
