2026 MEET STATS: 82 - 230 / $451.69 (-$8.31) BEST BETS: 15 - 23 / $47.78 (+$1.78) BEST BET: TELITONTHEMOUNTAIN (5th) SPOT PLAY: DONTTELLMENOW (2nd) Race 1: F&M $25,000 Claiming Pace (3) TWIN B ECHO makes just her third start of the season and judging by last week's effort it seems she's a good fit at this level; post improvement gives her a live chance at a decent price in a race where many have a shot. (1) MAYBEMABEL was decent after being shuffled in her return to $25K claimers and she too looks to have found a home with these; Kelly catch drives again from another good post. (4) KISSIN JOE gets Bartlett in debut for the Dilloian, Jr. barn after the claim but she isn't a proven winner at this level (yet) and figures to be a short price. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace (1) DONTTELLMENOW fits the description of "sharp horse moving up" as he goes for his third straight, and he'll be a price with the defection of the leading driver. (4) COALFORD TOPGUY GB keeps Bartlett for Engblom and has finished second five times out of eight races already in 2025; second again? (3) TAHUYA DEVIL failed last week at 1/5 odds but it was a good enough effort to think he competes here, and at a much-improved price. Race 3: NW17791 in last 5 starts Pace (3) HEZA RISK TAKER A was used hard last week and can be excused for tiring late; recent import drops a notch and it won't be long until he breaks into the win column. (2) BONDI LOCKDOWN A picks up Bartlett as regular driver Siegelman opted to #1 and it's been a while since he's put in a bad effort. Major player here and likely favorite. (5) SANTANA HANOVER returns locally for Bongiorno and he was a four-time winner here last year. Race 4: NW20081 in last 5 starts Pace (2) AMERICAN DEALER N steps up to face better but he also gets major post relief after being stuck in the eight hole last start; Burke trainee gets a new driver in Buter who is subbing for Gingras, and maybe that helps the price on this veteran who is about to hit $1 million lifetime. (3) SPEAKER OF PEACE has won three straight and the Laterza trainee is back in for a tag so he can stay at the same level. (4) KWICK SAND A is 4 for 9 on the season and now faces more seasoned foes but he is plenty fast enough to compete and would be no surprise. Race 5: 3-5YO Winners of 1 not more than 4 races or $60,000 LT Pace (2) TELITONTHEMOUNTAIN was second best last week to the 1:52 4/5 winner after blowing away softer the prior start; Engblom trainee looks much the best here. (3) CHARLIES WISH was third best in the same race as the top one after saving ground and he's in a similar spot here. (6) FLOOR IT FREDDIE starts his 4YO campaign off a rather dull 2025 season but the Stacy Chiodo owned/trained/driven gelding raced pretty well in those two Big M qualifiers and maybe he can move forward here for a piece at a huge price. Race 6: 3-5YO Winners of 5 not more than 7 races or $91,624 LT Pace (6) CONFEDERATESTAR N was outbattled at odds-on in his Yonkers debut and that was after winning at The Meadowlands in just his third North American start; a similar effort to last week should be enough to get it done here. (5) LASER SPEED returns from the big track and likes to be forwardly placed; Height trainee does have a tactical edge starting inside of the top choice and he looms as the chief threat. (2) BOXER SEELSTER has just one win on the season but has been a model of consistency for Lachance; good spot to pick up another nice piece. Race 7: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace (4) MANFERNO was a winner in his local return and he's got the class to repeat despite stepping up a notch. (1) TOBINS CHESTER also popped in his Yonkers return and looks like a major player from the rail. (6) INTIMIDATION drops from $40K claimers and was a winner when last at this level. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace (8) VENTURESOME ADREN N has pretty much fallen off the map over the last year-plus after his monster run that saw him earn over $250K at Yonkers in 2024. Even with the eight hole this field is so blank that I think he'll figure out a way to win this. (5) FIZZING N and (4) YOROKOBI N are a couple of veterans who are capable but never win; consider either or both underneath. Race 9: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace (4) ENFORCER has two wins this season, as many as the rest of the field combined. He changes conditions from age-restricted claimers to this NW7500 class so I'm not sure how he will fit in here but he does land an improved post and returns to Kakaley, who finished second with him the last time he drove. Seems like Greg Merton has had (7) JM'S DELIGHT since before the discovery of America and he's still a competitive money-earner. Post obviously a concern. (5) C-BET HANOVER drops to this level last week and was a much-improved second.
