Race 1: NW6 races or $75,000 lifetime Pace
(3) BETTERROCK had a nice three-year old campaign and the Jenn Bongiorno trainee looked ready for action in his seasonal debut; short price looming here but he could convert. (5) STELLAR YANKEE moves back into an age-conditioned NW event after a couple of decent on-the-board finishes where he was chasing a fast pace. (6) HIGHLANDBEACHSBEST begins his four-year-old campaign now in the Gillis barn and he has some minor stakes experience.

Race 2: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) ENVIRONS HANOVER had a few solid efforts at the $100K claiming level before tailing off but he recently qualified back sharply with Bartlett now at the controls and he draws into a pretty live spot here. (2) ESCAPETOTHEBEACH drops to face softer and moves inside a couple of spots; he figures to be in the thick of the action. (8) SOME WARATAH A has taken three straight up at Saratoga to start his season and the import was an Open Handicap winner here last year.

Race 3: NW5 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace
(1) SAMSON BLUE CHIP has gotten progressively better through his six seasonal starts and lands in a spot where Bartlett figures to be controlling the action. (4) TUGGIN ON MY HEART invades from Ohio where he was racing well at Miami Valley and the gelding looks like a solid fit with these. (5) SAUVIGNON BLUECHIP put in a nice effort two back then regressed last week when favored; he doesn't have to beat much to land on the ticket.
Race 4: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
(1) CHUPPAH ON was a solid winner two back then followed up with a sharp closing effort last week (though amazingly he was run over from behind). Camilleri trainee moves all the way inside and clearly looks like the one to beat. (2) WOODMERE SKYROLLER also closed with plenty coming out of the same race as the top one and prior to that had been racing well while close to the pace. (5) BALFAST N has looked poor in two starts off the Burke claim but you have to assume he'll figure the mare out.
Race 5: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) CINNAMACK was pretty well-meant in his last start and battled viciously before tiring; he projects to be a good price in this wide-open event and deserves a look. (2) DON DOMINGO N has looked much better in his last couple and he's got plenty of back class. (1) SEEUINNASHVILLE A saved ground and finished willingly in his first start for the Tirella barn and he may see a similar trip tonight.
Race 6: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) OURRHYTHMNBLUES N was a winner versus a notch lesser in his first start for Erv Miller and that barn has been good here all season; he seems capable with a live trip. (8) CRUZING HILL plunges from the $50K claiming level where he wasn't bad in his last couple. Obviously the post presents a major problem but he will be a good price if you think Bartlett can get him in play. (2) SWAGASAURUSREX has been a rare poor claim so far for these connections but he does drop and he draws well.
Race 7: $40,000 Claiming Pace
(1) REGAL SON was going nowhere in a hurry from the eight hole last week versus the streaking Venier Hanover but now he moves all the way inside and faces a field that is very questionable. (2) MAJOR CROCKER A has been second best in his last four at this level. (6) MAGRITTE has clearly tailed off but he does take a needed drop in class tonight.
Race 8: NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace
(4) TOP GENIUS was a NYSS participant in limited two-year-old action and those two qualifiers at The Meadowlands serve notice that the Linda Toscano trainee is ready to rock. (1) SPORTS SECTION certainly didn't disgrace himself in the MGM Gents series and Kakaley is back driving. (3) RIGHTHERERIGHTNOW was last seen winning at Northville at 67/1 and he could prove to fit well here as the most experienced of the group.
Race 9: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) BIZYS BEATLE is a fresh face from Ohio who joins the Bongiorno barn and draws well in this very soft basement conditioned event. He'll be the default odds-on favorite. (4) SMOKIN BY N was second best last week, could be there again. (7) HEAVEN'S GAIT has really struggled to find his stride this year after being a very productive earner in seasons past. Consider for a share, even from the poor post.

Race 10: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) MARK WITHA K was a decent third last out chasing better and he's a legit threat to take this field wire-to-wire. (8) MICKY GEE N has finally turned things around but it took a trip to NW7500 to get it done. In the old days he would sweep the field for fun from the eight hole and I'll be impressed if he can do it again. (3) HERRICKROOSEVELT N can save ground for a share, or grind first-over for a share.
Race 11: $12,500 Claiming Pace
(2) CARRACCI HANOVER has loads of back class and the freelegged pacer had a hint of late pace in his last couple. (3) LOTTERY WINNER blew them away in his last start, but that was over three weeks ago; use caution with this erratic gelding. (1) COACH CAL should be sitting a nice trip close up and can pick up a piece.
