2026 MEET STATS: 102 - 297 / $582.61 (-$11.39) BEST BETS: 19 - 30 / $61.04 (+$1.04) BEST BET: GANNON'S VELOUCITY (7th) SPOT PLAY: BECA MITCHELL (2nd) Race 1: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace (4) KINGSVILLE returns from six weeks on the sidelines with a useful qualifier. That effort alone along with his back class makes him a player. (3) AVENGER FORCE has done little in his last four starts but he drops back to a level where he's much more effective; 20/1 ML. (6) CASINO ACTION N has just two wins over his last 44 starts but one of them was at this level with Bartlett driving. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace (3) BECA MITCHELL was never involved last week when stuck outside upon arrival from Delaware but he was only beaten 3 1/2 lengths in a perfectly acceptable effort. Post improvement and drop to $20's in her second start for this barn makes her very enticing. (5) DISARONNO HILL was second best at a price last out after cutting the mile from the eight hole; figures to be on the move early again for top connections. (2) PINK RUBY always races well enough to pick up a piece. Race 3: F&M $25,000 Claiming Pace (4) KISSIN JOE has come up a little short as the favorite in her last three but she will get over the hump sooner rather than later. Mare finds some speed to the inside and just needs to stay close enough. (3) MAYBEMABEL brushed and crushed with a wicked final quarter when dropped down to $20K claimers; back up a notch and looms large. (1) DW'S DARLENE has gone wire-to-wire in two consecutive starts so figure on the same strategy tonight from the rail. Race 4: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace (1) RENALDO N lacks the class and experience of others in here but it might not matter as the Team Tritton gelding may just be a bit faster than these; wire-to-wire candidate. (5) BONDI LOCKDOWN A could be a player if he saves ground midpack and makes one late run. (3) HEMSWORTH N seems good to go after that debacle on 3/30; career earner of over $675K knows how to win. Race 5: NW7821 in last 5 starts Pace (2) LOU'S SWEETREVENGE hasn't seen this low a class in ages and with the good draw and switch to Bartlett the veteran gets a clear endorsement. (3) STELLAR YANKEE hasn't done much in his last five races over at The Meadowlands after winning two straight there back in February. Stratton trainee has done well here in the past. (1) THE IDEAL DANCER A won out of the eight hole last week for Lachance; steps back up a level but moves all the way inside; very logical contender. Race 6: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace (1) YS SENSATIONALCITY pretty much wasted a start last out when she was a bit overmatched against better; veteran is proven at this $50K level and regular driver Siegelman will likely be pointed down the road. (3) MISS PERIGNON N and (4) PETROL QUEEN both come out of the same race last start as non-factors but will be live here; edge to #3 over #4 as she's much more accomplished this year. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 7: 3-5YO Winners of 5 not more than 7 races or $90,000 LT Pace (3) GANNON'S VELOUCITY had been near-flawless at The Meadows for Burke and he missed a head in a solid try in his Yonkers debut. I think he's clearly the one to catch as the deserving favorite. (1) BOXER SEELSTER was outfinished last week after moving out then in with late traffic. Lachance trainee is never far back and can roll home late. (4) CAPTAIN FEAR gets post relief and will be much closer to the action after having no chance from the eight hole in his latest. Race 8: NW22751 in last 5 starts Pace (3) ODDS ON CAPITALISM has gotten stronger and faster through two starts after shipping in and joining the Engblom barn. This is a solid field of veteran pacers but I think Bartlett can make the front from this spot and may prove tough to catch. (2) ENDOFSTORY didn't belong in the Borgata but does belong with these, as evidenced by that close call last out. Zeron picks up the drive and may need to get over #1 in the early going for his best chance. (4) AMERICAN DEALER N recently went over a million earned lifetime and he's still going strong but is probably on the outside looking in tonight with the post disadvantage; use underneath. Race 9: NW22241 in last 5 starts Pace (2) SWEETHOMEALABAMA N seemed to have taken advantage of recent class relief to get his head on straight and he's now back firing on all cylinders. Step up in class may not be a problem if he shows up with an effort like the last few. (5) JETT STAR N shocked everyone last week with his 40/1 wire-to-wire score and overall he's been great since being claimed for $30K for a barn that suddenly fires at 20%. (1) BLUE LOU is a factor due to the class drop and rail draw; Alexander trainee was a winner when last at the NW20000 base level. Race 10: NW15001 in last 5 starts Pace (2) SOHO DOW JONES A raced great in his last two coming from off the pace and now Bartlett has options with the move back inside; sharp veteran moving up gets the call. (1) YOUNG BLUEY A is the latest in a never-ending supply of Down Under shippers. This one debuts for the Bako barn off a very effective qualifier. (4) MATAI PHIL N will appreciate the class relief after being in too deep in the Borgata. [DRF HARNESS: Follow me on X! @drfharnessmatt]
