MEET STATS: 114 - 309 / $598.70 (-$19.30) BEST BETS: 15 - 31 / $49.60 (-$12.40) Best Bet: LEVINE (2nd) Spot Play: MARK WITHA K (9th) Race 1: NW2 races or $25,000 Lifetime Pace (2) THE COOKIE MONSTER scored easily last week actually going off as the second choice. DiDomenico trainee lands in a similar spot tonight looking to double up. (5) SOCRATES BLUE CHIP raced well out of the eight hole in his seasonal debut and logic would dictate that he will be better in his second go-around; 3-year-old is a big player here. (3) HIGH ST CORRIDOR returns from Pocono and was a shocking 51/1 winner here a couple of months ago. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: NW8 races or $100,000 Lifetime Pace (1) LEVINE has blossomed into a quality pacer for the Team of Megan Scran and Scott Zeron; he lands the best post in this short field and should be able to dictate the action. (3) GENIUS MAN ran into the streaking Galante A last week and that ended his modest two-race winning streak; Bucci charge will be right in the thick of this. (4) MAJOR BETTS didn't get involved in his local return but he can show more here. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: NW5300 in last 5 starts Pace (3) QUATRAIN BLUE CHIP finished well in his last two facing better; class and post relief helps immensely. (2) FOREVER FAV was claimed out of his last start by Jenn Bongiorno and he finished very willingly from too far back in that effort; gelding is the main threat to the top one. (4) BRACKLEY BEACH is much-improved since the recent barn change and he looks best of the rest. Race 4: NW4 races or $50,000 Lifetime Pace (1) ROLLING WITH SAM paced a big back half last week to be second best and now the Burke trainee moves all the way inside; top billing. (4) CIGAR SMOKING TONY faltered in the M Life final after a good showing in the prelims and he followed that up with two big wins at Pocono; he's the obvious threat to the top choice and will likely be favored. (3) GAMBLINGTERROR usually races as well as he's drawn; can he be third best from the three hole? Race 5: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace (2) FIREBALL hasn't done much recently but he makes his second start for a new barn and faces softer from a much-improved post; veteran should awaken in this spot. (6) FOX VALLEY INFERNO was much better last week and he also drops in class but he may be at a tactical disadvantage moving back outside. (4) REAL LUCKY N does show a win two back at Pocono for Team Bongoirno but overall he hasn't been that great since the claim by these connections. Race 6: NW6 races or $75,000 lifetime Pace (3) IDEAL ARTILLERY was second best last week chasing the sharp Quagmire Blue Chip from the pocket and that's back to back good efforts since getting torched in his seasonal debut. Siegelman's choice is drawn well enough and should be a fair price in this competitive field. (5) DIAMONDBEACH went a tough mile last out and can be excused for that race; Kakaley picks up the drive and she's got good early speed. (2) REIGNING DEO hasn't been bad at all but has underwhelmed a bit; from this inside spot he can hit the ticket. Race 7: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace (1) ONE OFF DELIGHT A is 0 for 13 and counting this year but he just missed from a similar spot three back and he should be riding a live trip here. (5) MISTER SPOT A dropped to the basement last week and did everything right except win; he's got early speed and an interesting catch-driver in Doug McNair. (4) SPORTS BETTOR usually gives a decent effort when Brennan's in the bike and he could land a share. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 8: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace (8) SHNEONUCRZYDIAMND A makes his debut for the Garcia-Herrera barn off a winning qualifier and he's got loads of back class; he may be able to overcome the eight hole with a spirited drive by Dube. (3) MACINTOSH N drops to NW7500 off a good second and he still makes a good living at these lower levels. (1) CAROLINA MAGIC finished well last week and the Milici barn has been going well of late. Race 9: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace (1) MARK WITHA K hasn't been involved from tough spots in his last three but his form had turned around prior to that; class and post relief makes him a very interesting option in the finale. (5) EPIC ACE drops in class and has proven in the past to be a player at this level; price should be decent. (2) PERFECTLY CLOSE was dead-game in beating lesser to finally break into the win column; he bumps up a notch but is drawn well.
