Race 1: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace

(2) SOHO LENNON A gets both class and post relief which is the recipe for success for this classy veteran. (1) IMSTAYINALIVE sat a good trip last out but was nailed on the wire by a horse who came back to win again; Lachance trainee figures again with the inside draw. (3) MAXIMUS RED A had no chance last start but wasn't far back at the finish; post relief and smaller field should make him a contender for a nice share.

Race 2: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace

(6) JUST PLAIN LOCO has been finishing well recently with much better than these; Kakaley picks up the drive tonight and he just needs to be involved earlier for his best chance. (2) MR KELLY raced okay last week and now he lands in a better spot with Bartlett keeping the drive. (3) IDEAL ARTILLERY has been underachieving a bit of late but he is capable; board threat.

Race 3: $12,500 Claiming Pace

(4) MISSION BAY just missed last week in a good try and the underrated Holland has been driving well; this feels like a good spot to get aggressive. (6) CARRACCI HANOVER recaptured some of his old glory with the recent barn change to DiDomenico and now he goes for Bako off the claim and stays at a winning level. (1) COACH CAL also goes for new connections and has been much better recently.

Race 4: NW12075 in last 5 starts Pace

(1) BETTOR MEMORIES is one of many classy oldtimers from Burke that can still get the job done; he lands in a controlling spot looking for his first seasonal win. (2) MIGHTY SANTANA N went a tough trip last week as the odds-on chalk and faded to seventh; he should be in line for a smoother journey tonight. (5) CANTSTOPLYING was never in doubt beating lesser last start.

Race 5: NW6 races or $75,000 lifetime Pace

(4) AMERICANLIGHTNINGN has been super since arriving for Team Tritton and there's no reason to think he won't win again. (2) BONDI SHAKE N was a good second chasing the winner last week and he'll likely sit another pocket trip. (5) MAKIN SOME NOISE could not reach the top two last week but should be a bit closer tonight.

Race 6: NW2 races or $25,315 lifetime Pace

(3) PARTY CENTRAL went well in his local debut, just his third lifetime start; I suspect Bartlett will be sending this youngster to the lead tonight. (4) THEBIZNES BLUECHIP took money from the outside post last week but was unable to get involved; post improvement should make the Gillis trainee a big player. (1) STELLAR FELLER was overmatched in the age-conditioned $30K claimer but he can be more competitive with this type; especially starting from the innermost post.

Race 7: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace

(3) WINDSUN RICKY dropped to this level last week and battled stubbornly on the front end before tiring; Stafford trainee lands in another live spot tonight and gets the call. (1) AINTNOBETTOR A double-drops in class off a couple of nondescript efforts and he draws best for good connections but note that he burned a ton of money at this level in a couple of starts last month. (5) MARTY MONKHOUSER A keeps chugging along and producing, including last week's 15/1 wire job. Not sure if he can make the lead tonight but he can certainly land a share.

Race 8: NW21001 in last 5 starts Pace

(3) RAUKAPUKA RULER N took some time to work himself back into shape and after winning last week he starts his climb back up to hopefully the Open ranks. It may not be easy but he's more than capable of winning here. (1) PEACE OUT POSSE rallied mildly in his local return; Joe B is back driving for his sister and we'll see how aggressive he is in the early stages. (5) WOODMERE STEALDEAL picked up a couple of small checks in four Borgata starts and this is obviously easier competition.

Race 9: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace

(7) FEELIN RED HOT was used hard in the early stages and folded up turning home in her return to the Dowse barn; mare is always a candidate to go wire-to-wire, especially if she hits the lead without too much trouble. (5) CHUPPAH ON has raced well in practically every recent local start but just has one victory to show for it; she's a big threat with a reasonable trip. (6) MILLWOOD BONNIE N fits well in this class and is always worth consideration.

Race 10: NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace

(3) HE'S GONNA GETYA hasn't accomplished a whole lot since arriving locally but he's finished with a good last quarter in almost every start. Maybe he can upset with a smooth trip in a field with some question marks. (8) SAMSON BLUE CHIP has been the most consistent here and he has the speed to overcome the post. (1) PJ LOU makes his 3-year-old debut off a solid qualifier and he had a productive freshman season.
