BEST BET: HUMAN COCKTAIL (2nd)
SPOT PLAY: CHUPPAH ON (3rd)
Race 1: 3-5YO NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace
(4) SAULSBROOK BOOMER was a play of mine last week and raced pretty well from the eight hole at a big price; figure Brennan to be forwardly placed again and he may be able to greatly improve that fourth-place finish. (3) CAPTAIN Q put in a solid effort in his first start upon arrival from Canada and he'll be the first one to the lead again. (6) ITS A ME MARIO scored at odds-on beating the top two choices in his 3YO debut for Shane Tritton but now he moves from the rail all the way outside.

Race 2: 3-5YO NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace
(1) HUMAN COCKTAIL had a solid freshman campaign and now makes his 3YO debut in a new barn. Alexander trainee looks ready to go off those two Pocono qualifiers. (2) TWO FACED was right there last week versus tougher NW6 types; he drops back to this NW4 class and is the one to fear. (3) AMBITIOUSBEACHBOY tripped out to win last start and Bartlett gets the call tonight with Kakaley on #1.

Race 3: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
(5) CHUPPAH ON left well the last two times she started from the center of the gate and the mare is definitely overdue. She'll offer the better price here of the main contenders. (3) MIKI ROSE hasn't made a serious impact since returning for her 4YO campaign and she finds herself tagged. This is a soft field and a good spot to turn things around. (1) KATYS DELIGHT was third best last week from a similar spot.
Race 4: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace/Opt $15K Clm Pace
I've been stuck on (4) KEYSTONE DASH for a while now and he keeps disappointing. Garcia-Herrera trainee gets to drop to face softer tonight and really should take advantage. Barn has been going well recently also. (1) ROSE RUN X-CON has had some excuses recently and he's also been facing better in most 2023 starts; 4YO now moves all the way inside. (6) LETTUCERIPRITA A is in for the $15K tag again but he faces a much better group tonight; he's sharp though and could find a way into the number.
Race 5: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
(3) COWGIRL LILLY has been very good in three starts for Bako after returning from Canada and now she drops into this popular F&M claiming event. She faces some sharp ones here but is worth considering if she's a fair price. (7) CORAL BELLA has been collared late in her last three but overall she's been very live and her early speed always gets her in play. (5) NUTTINBUTTHEBEST is a proven player with these for the Alexander barn.
Race 6: 3-7YO NW6 races or $75,000 lifetime Pace
(5) CYRUS N is the latest import for the Shane Tritton barn and he's dropped into the box off just one qualifier, where he finished with good pace. While he figures to be live for these connections don't accept too short of a price as he's facing some quality rivals. (4) RB has sharp early speed which makes him an auto-use in here. (2) SOUTHWIND BARON was a nice second last week at a price after leaving from the outside; post improvement should help.
Race 7: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace/Opt $15K Clm Pace
(4) SHADOW CAT has underachieved this season through 7 starts but he's got plenty of class and a nice local history; He faces a tough one in #1 but will offer a much better price. (1) MOONLIGHT SHADOW hasn't done a whole lot for these connections after being claimed for $50K but he closed well last week and now faces softer while moving all the way inside. Short price looming on this Engblom trainee. (2) FOREVER FAV will be sitting close up and can land a share.

Race 8: NW16256 in last 5 starts/NW9 races Pace
(3) SPORT SECRET is a perfect two-for-two to start his 4YO campaign and while the Cullipher trainee faces some more seasoned rivals tonight he deserves top billing. (6) KING JAMES EXPRESS drops from the Open for Burke and figures to be more involved. (1) THE REAL ONE gets class and post relief. Leave Lachance off the ticket at your own risk.
Race 9: NW22281 in last 5 starts/NW10 races Pace
(4) DIAMONDBEACH cut the pace in his last two but could not last the duration. Brennan figures to try again with the Bucci trainee and he gets the slight call in the finale. (5) NOME HANOVER has been on the shelf for a couple of months but the Bongiorno trainee raced well in two Meadowlands starts after being claimed by these connections and he had a blowout qualifier last week at Philly. (1) STATE SENATOR has looked like a good claim so far for the rejuvenated Blumenfeld barn; he steps up but should be in line for a live trip.
