2026 MEET STATS: 30 - 100 / $149.26 (-$50.74) BEST BETS: 6 - 10 / $17.42 (-$2.58) BEST BET: BETTER B BOLD (8th) SPOT PLAY: TITO N CHEDDAR (4th) Race 1: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace (2) NUTTINBUTHEBEST has been the most consistent and accomplished performer in here for an extended period of time and from the inside draw she's absolutely the one to beat. Obvious horse equals short price, however. Let's key in the Pk4 and move on. (1) HOLY STARZZZ A was awful last start but was a decent second the start prior; Burke trainee can land a piece with a smooth trip. (7) IDEAL SKIES was claimed for $30K, misses a couple of weeks and is entered for $20K. That's generally not a good sign, then she draws the worst post to boot. Obviously if she still has four functioning legs she can get off the gate and be a contender. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace (3) BEANTOWN BABE has quietly been racing pretty well and draws better in this select field; mare figures to sit and save off the pace looking to rally in the final 3/8's. (2) JIVE DANCING A is classiest but not that reliable anymore; still looks like a deserving favorite from this spot. (6) BOUT DAMN TIME A takes money in every local start but tonight may be a double-digit price; something to consider. Race 3: F&M $25,000 Claiming Pace (2) SHANGRI LA HANOVER surprised everyone last start when she wired the field at 41/1, and she was claimed. Now in the Bako barn she moves up in price but faces much of the same competition. (6) DELITFULCATHERIN N debuts for Lachance off the claim and we know she's got a ton of back class. On reputation alone she deserves to be lower than her 20/1 ML. (4) FIGHT NOT FLIGHT is in her fourth barn in as many starts and the Alexander trainee has been good for all connections. She'll be heading towards the front. Race 4: 3-5YO Winners of 5-7 races or $90,000 LT Pace (5) TITO N CHEDDAR dominated in his second local start for the Bongiorno barn and maybe he has more to offer as he steps up in class. (1) CAPTAIN LUFFY figures to be getting a better trip than last time, especially from the rail. (4) BOXER SEELSTER loves hitting the board and never misses a check. Won't take a ton of effort to finish in the top three. Race 5: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace (1) KINGSVILLE can be forgiven for his latest start when he pulled up with broken equipment and the veteran has been facing better in practically all starts over the last year or so. Obviously from the rail Kakaley has tactical options. (4) BLAZE ON N was 2/5 odds in a NW20000 event when last at Yonkers and he's raced very well over at The Meadowlands since then, though without a victory to show for it. Dilloian Jr. trainee should be a major player. (5) COLLECTIVE WORKS A steps up a level off three solid races and looks for two straight overall; off-the-pace type isn't impossible here. Race 6: 3-5YO Winners of 2-4 races or $60,000 LT Pace (6) STAY FOCUSED was a winner in his 4YO debut with Lasix added for new connections. Alexander trainee ships in from Pocono looking to repeat and is looking at three inside rivals all making returns off layoffs. (2) ALABAMA LUCKY is just 1 for 33 lifetime for the Schnittker barn but qualified decently and did have some live efforts here towards the end of his 3YO season. (3) THE FAMILY MAN arrives from Indiana and goes from Erv Miller to DiDomenico; I suspect he'll need a start or two before firing his best. Race 7: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace I've been on the (2) YS SENSATIONALCITY bandwagon for a long time now (with mixed results). Classy mare gets significant post improvement here and is very capable of taking this field wire to wire. (3) ATREACHEROUS A was claimed away by Lachance back in December for $30K but was immediately taken back and is now a proven winner at the $50K level; mare is always a threat. (6) MACHS LEGACY A is never far off at the finish and does have some early speed when leaving from the inner half of the gate; can Buter get her in play tonight? [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace (4) BETTER B BOLD absolutely dominated in his first local start for the Alexander barn after shipping in from Ohio. He steps up a level in class with a major chance to repeat. (2) LEVINE isn't the most prolific winner but with the drop and move back inside he's a candidate to complete the exacta. (5) CHURCHVIEWFRANKL IR can sit back and make one late move to hit the board. Race 9: NW5316 in last 5 starts Pace (4) PYRO has been around a long time and note that he won off the bench in his 2025 debut so coming back fresh may be his thing. I'll give the $800K earner a chance here. (1) TWIG hasn't done much recently but he moves all the way back inside and it wouldn't surprise me to see Holland seat everyone and look to go down the road. (7) PANETTONE HANOVER showed good energy in that Pocono qualifier as he gears up for his seasonal debut but it's tough to know what to expect coming out from this poor post.
