MEET STATS: 60 - 202 / $286.90 (-$117.10)

Best Bet: SHNEONUCRZYDIAMND A (12th)
Spot Play: CHUPPAH ON (11th)
Race 1: NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace
(1) DINNER PARTY is a well-bred youngster making his career debut off a steady qualifier and he lands the rail with NW2's drawing inside. Obviously there's a lot of guessing here with the Shane Tritton trainee but there isn't much else to get excited about in here. (7) BONDI SHAKE N closed very well last week though he was run over from behind; big chance here, but will also be a short price from an outside post. (6) SAUVIGNON BLUECHIP doesn't have much form but Brennan is back driving and he steered this gelding to back-to-back wins here last October.

Race 2: MGM REWARDS GENTS Leg #3 Pace
(1) PERFECTBOY HANOVER missed a nose and a neck in his last two; move inside should get him over the top.(2) SPORTS SECTION flashed good speed last week before tiring and from this spot he'll be on the lead or very close to it. (3) RHODENA ROAD flattened after an uncovered try last start but his prior two efforts were decent.

Race 3: $30,000 Claiming Pace
(4) LETTUCERIPRITA A has always been a bit inconsistent but his connections sure have him figured out now. 12-year-old moves up the claiming ladder again going for three straight and Stratton stays with him over his brother's horse. (6) JOJO'S PLACE could not muster a second move last week when up in class; two back at this level he was a dominating winner. (1) MARTY MONKHOUSER A is always more effective when drawn inside and he should hang around for a share.
Race 4: MGM REWARDS GENTS Leg #3 Pace
(2) HIGH BALLER came up with a huge effort at 19/1 off the bench last week; he'll be a much lower price but I'll stick with him. (4) PHOENIX OF FLUZZY coasted in round one of this series at short odds but then broke last week; Burke trainee clearly deserves another look. (6) MAKIN SOME NOISE has been first or second in all five starts since arriving from Northfield and he can hit the ticket again.
Race 5: MGM REWARDS GENTS Leg #3 Pace
(1) BALI BEACH was more aggressively handled last week when he was in a better spot and he was gaining late to be second best. Cory Stratton trainee looms large tonight with Jordan back driving. (4) BET ON BLAKE got the job done in round two as the 6/5 second choice; these top two figure to split the money here. (2) FLIGHT ONEFORTYSIX was airborne in the late stages last week for Michael Whelan. He's got the talent but faces an uncertain trip; uncovered?
Race 6: $40,000 Claiming Pace
(6) LOUIE LOUIE beat up on age-restricted claimers off the Bako claim and now he bumps up in price but he faces no standouts in here and he seems capable with a smooth trip. (8) MY MIND IS MADEUP made a huge four wide rally off the Camilleri claim and he was narrowing the gap late on the winner. Yes, this is a tough spot but everything from this barn is live. (4) OZONE BLUE CHIP goes for yet another new barn off the claim (Stratton) and he's been good for everybody recently.
Race 7: NW6 races or $75,000 lifetime Pace
(3) IMOUTTHEDOOR graduated to the NW6 class then was stuck in post eight but he finished very alertly. Harmon trainee moves back inside and figures to be aggressively handled. (2) MYSWEETBOYMAX had a nice 3-year-old season despite only one win and he was just okay in those two recent Meadowlands tries; I'm inclined to try to beat him tonight. (4) HIGH ST CORRIDOR has done nothing wrong this year and the Devita trainee looks like the other main speed in here.
Race 8: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) PYRO was on cruise control in his 1:51 winning mile last week and he gets a free ride in this class; trainer Garcia-Herrera is heating up big-time. (4) WINDSUN RICKY was thrown to the wolves in his 2022 debut but now he finds a more realistic spot, and he should offer some value. (5) NOCTURNAL BLUECHIP jogged against lesser upon arrival from The Meadowlands; Gillis trainee is definitely a player here.
Race 9: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) ROCK N TONY dropped in price for his last start and was snatched up by Laterza, now he exits claimers altogether for this NW10000 event. Veteran picks up Bartlett, draws well and I can see Bartlett heading to the front. (1) AINTNOBETTOR A was painful to watch as the 2/5 favorite last out; Stratton picks up the drive and he moves all the way inside. (6) HERRICKROOSEVELT N faces softer and has a good closing kick.
Race 10: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) CAN B PERFECT qualified willingly then finished willingly from the back in his 2022 pari-mutuel debut. Stafford trainee drops in class, draws well and should be tough to knock off. (6) STANFORD COURT had his local debut derailed with a transportation scratch; he deserves another look here. (1) MACINTOSH N was overmatched at the $50K claiming level but he can hold his ground here and land a piece.

Race 11: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
(5) CHUPPAH ON closed a ton last week for Stratton and Camilleri and she won't be coming from last tonight; she could be sharp enough to gun down the speedy (2) FEELIN RED HOT, who is back in for a tag after getting collared by a sharp rival. (1) MILLWOOD BONNIE N paid a nice price off the Chris Height claim and she draws well again.
Race 12: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) SHNEONUCRZYDIAMND A drops to the basement for Garcia-Herrera, who as mentioned is live again after a slow start to his season. Wire-to-wire in the finale. (5) EDDARD HANOVER also drops looking to awaken and this is the best spot he's seen in some time. (1) J B MAUNEY N has talent but he can't seem to put it together; use caution.
