2024 MEET STATS: 68 - 224 / $400.60 (-$47.40) BEST BETS: 11 - 19 / $39.50 (+$1.50) BEST BET: AIN'T NOSTOPN TIME (6th) SPOT PLAY: REAL WILLEY (8th) Race 1: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace (4) YOROKOBI N seemed to really relish the couple of months off over the holidays because the Pete Tritton import has come back sharp and he goes for three straight. Bartlett gets the drive with Stratton deferring to #5. (2) JUSTASEC N has been equally sharp as he also steps up looking for the hat trick. (5) ULTIMAROCA has tailed off but he's not too far removed from that strong front-end win last month. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace (1) TUGGINGONCREDIT moves all the way from the eight hole to the rail in her second start of the season and meets a questionable field. Mare is proven with these. (4) FEELIN RED HOT moves into the Engblom barn desperately looking for a wakeup call; will she ever get right? (5) LOOKATMYART was second best two back to the classy Itty Bitty but empty last week; faces softer tonight. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: NW24162 in last 5 starts Pace (4) POINTOMYGRANSON has been a model of consistency for multiple barns and the moderate drop in class via lower claiming tag can help to get him back to winning. (2) SAMHARA N really outraced his odds last week, just missing to a streaking rival, and he's in a similar spot tonight. (1) BLANK STARE is up in class off a win and Stratton needs to do his best to protect position from the rail with the potential for multiple midpack leavers. Race 4: NW10311 in last 5 starts Pace (4) CAPTIVATE HANOVER successfully dropped and popped last week and now be begins to move back up the ladder. Garcia-Herrera trainee was a big earner a year ago. (5) AMERICAN MERCURY looks ready for action off that winning Pocono qualifier and he's got the class edge on these. (1) QUALITY BUD failed to get involved last week but his prior two were solid. Regular driver Brent Holland opted for #8 so the veteran picks up the returning Dan Dube and he could be a player with a smooth trip. Race 5: F&M $25,000 Claiming Pace (5) BADDITUDE has been on an extended run over at The Meadowlands and she comes back on short rest here and picks up Gingras. 4YO gets tested for class but does like to win and I think she'll fit. (1) CORAL BELLA woke up in a big way two back then was okay last week facing better. She drops back down and figures to be flashing speed from the rail. (2) CALLMEQUEENBEE A dropped to this level last start and was parked before retreating weakly. Will the Bongiorno trainee ever turn things around? Race 6: 2-5YO NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace (5) AIN'T NOSTOPN TIME is a fresh face up from Delaware to face a listless group. 3YO has missed a bit of time but I'm sure his new connections (to include owner/driver Gingras) will have him ready. (6) JD CAMDEN GB makes his third U.S. start for the Burke team at three different venues and there's some upside here; Mark MacDonald gets the drive with Brennan and Gingras committed elsewhere. (3) WAR MACHINE has some stakes experience as a freshman. Race 7: 3-6YO NW 3-5 races or $60,000 lifetime Pace Some more recent fresh faces here from all over. (2) WRY was bet to even money last start at The Meadowlands despite being off a month with a driver who doesn't start as often as others, and he finished fourth. Recent addition to the Cullipher barn now gets Bartlett for his YR debut and draws well. (3) SINBAD N looks to build off that initial trip start for Tritton. (1) COTTON ON N charged to just miss two back then failed to get close from trailing position. Gelding now moves all the way inside. Race 8: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace (8) REAL WILLEY is two for two since the barn change to Bongiorno and he appears to have enough early speed to overcome the brutal draw. Should be some value here. (6) ITS A ME MARIO has a long way to go to catch up to these in the class department but he's plenty fast enough. (1) INDICTABLE HANOVER may have a bit of an edge over others who are coming off of layoffs here, namely #2, #3 and #4. Race 9: 3-6YO NW 6-9 races or $125,000 lifetime Pace I know (7) NIGHT HAWK is stuck all the way outside but it's tough to ignore his current form, including last week 1:51 4/5 score. (5) OAKWOOD PADDY IR returns from The Big M and has hit the board in his last 13 races, including a 2 for 3 Yonkers record. Lack of value is the only downside. (1) PANETTONE HANOVER chased the top choice well to be third best in his last start. Race 10: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace (6) GROOVY JOE lands outside again but the difference tonight is we may see some early speed from this classy veteran; he won easily when last at this level. (7) STONEBRIDGE REX has the best current form but has done much of that damage from better posts than he sees tonight. Does Holland also think about blasting? (4) ROLLING WITH SAM hit the board one class higher in two of his last three. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 11: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace (6) YS SENSATIONALCITY never got involved last out facing better from an outside post but she was a winner her prior two against similar. The win two back was particularly impressive. (1) IDEAL IN FUN upset last week at 12/1; not getting near that price tonight but she can repeat. (4) COMMANDER CATHY N has hit the ticket in her last three Race 12: 3-6YO NW 3-5 races or $60,000 lifetime Pace (5) THAT DOG WILL HUNT failed on the front end in his 4YO debut and he was bet down to 3/5 odds. Bongiorno trainee gets another chance at a much-improved price. (2) CAPTAIN MAX HENRY hasn't been able to win yet since moving up to this level and he's another who burned a ton of money in his last start; use caution. (4) STATESIDE DEUCE GB graduates from the NW2 level and the recent import can have more to offer.
