2026 MEET STATS: 45 - 138 / $234.21 (-$41.79) BEST BETS: 7 - 13 / $19.82 (-$6.18) BEST BET: SHAKESPEARE (9th) SPOT PLAY: FORWARD FLASH (6th) Race 1: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace Looks like all the action will be coming from the inside four horses. (1) UNCONTROLLED didn't fire her best last start but she was good in all prior starts and with a smoother trip she's right there with the rest of these, probably at a better price. (2) MCANGEL and (4) YUENGLING both enter new barns in good form and stay at the proper level. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: 3-6YO Winners of 5-7 races/NW $90,000 LT Pace (2) KWICK SAND A put in three big efforts recently facing mostly more seasoned stock and the Stratton trainee figures to fit perfectly in this NW lifetime class. Post edge on main rivals gives Jordan some options. (4) BOXER SEELSTER flew home for Lachance last week to nail (3) TITO N CHEDDAR at the wire. Both of them loom as major players again. Race 3: F&M $25,000 Claiming Pace (2) ILLUSION SEELSTER gave it a couple of shots at the $50K claiming level but that didn't exactly work out so the Alvarez trainee drops back down and was a dominant winner when last in with this type. (1) FIGHT NOT FLIGHT jogged in debut for the Alexander barn after stepping up off the $20K claim. Obvious major chance to repeat. (3) MACHS LEGACY A hasn't won in a while but she's also been facing better in all recent races. Last time in this class she won by open lengths. Race 4: NW15766 in last 5 starts Pace (6) SKYLOU N put in a winning-type effort in his North American debut but was nailed by the pocket rocket. Blacker trainee deserves a follow-up chance and could offer a bit of value having drawn outside his main competition. (5) SEASIDEESCAPE was a winner in a Yonkers qualifier last month then won his seasonal debut at The Meadowlands. Engblom trainee makes his way back locally and is reunited with Bartlett. (4) BE DAZZLED LOU A is two for two since the Bongiorno claim including beating the top choice last week. From the rail in that race he worked out the pocket trip but he may be in line for a tougher journey tonight. Race 5: NW8376 in last 5 starts Pace (3) MUSIC HALL was an insane 16 for 37 last year but so far has started off 2026 with a goose egg in six tries. Class drop and new hands with Kakaley getting the drive could point him back in the right direction. (1) MYULTIMATEBAXTER N was going nowhere from the eight hole in his local return but now moves in to the rail and picks up Bartlett. Vallee veteran seems capable of showing more. (5) TWIG beat a soft field two back with that effort surrounded by multiple off-the-board efforts. Laterza trainee does have some speed and enough talent to have earned him $100K a season ago. Race 6: 3-5YO Winners of 2-4 races/NW $60,000 LT Pace (8) FORWARD FLASH draws poorly making his second start as a 4YO but last week was a very willing effort at The Meadowlands in a mile that paced in 1:49 4/5. He's shown early speed here in the past and if he can improve position off the gate he could be a player at a price. (5) TELITONTHEMOUNTAIN makes his Engblom and Yonkers debut, gets the leading driver in the bike and could be ready for some faster efforts. (1) ALABAMA LUCKY has hit the board in his two seasonal tries and is in line to do so again this week. Race 7: NW6091 in last 5 starts Pace (4) CUT N RUN N was a $72K earner last year in just 18 starts and he makes his third start for the Stratton barn looking to turn things around. This is one of the softest fields he's seen in quite a while. (2) TEXAS HOLDEM draws well and should be sitting close to the front. (6) AVENGER FORCE has raced very well in his last two and will be a price again. Not impossible with a trip. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace I may sound like a broken record sometimes when praising (4) YS SENSATIONALCITY but she is a legit talent at this level and should be more involved than last week with the moderate post improvement. (2) MAYBEMABEL has been super in three starts since moving to the Adamczyk barn and she steps up in class again looking to go three of four at Yonkers. (3) ACCESS GRANTED has some speed for top connections but needs to show more late. Race 9: NW5151 in last 5 starts Pace (6) SHAKESPEARE is more talented than he's been showing lately but he picks up a fresh set of hands with Bartlett and is more than capable of turning things around. (2) COWBOY CARGO arrives from Delaware now in the Izzy Estrada barn with the catch driving Bongiorno; worth a look on the "fresh face" angle. (3) RAYRAY isn't much but he's got Yannick driving again from a reasonable post.
