2026 MEET STATS: 30 - 100 / $149.26 (-$50.74) BEST BETS: 6 - 10 / $17.42 (-$2.58) BEST BET: ROCK THE BELLES (9th) SPOT PLAY: TITO N CHEDDAR (3rd) Race 1: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace (2) YUENGLING has been a consistent presence at these claiming levels since arriving locally in mid-2025 and she's done it for multiple barns; good draw tonight in debut for the Laterza outfit. (1) SHANGRI LA HANOVER stepped up off the Bako claim and faded late; back to $20's where she belongs. (8) DISARONNO HILL failed as the heavy chalk in her last two. Here's an opportunity to get a price on her as she moves all the way out to the eight hole. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: NW7561 in last 5 starts Pace (3) THONG CONTROL drops back down a notch in class and gets significant post relief after being stuck in the eight hole his last three races. (1) BRUTALLYHANDSOME A dropped for the third consecutive start last week and finished very well from the middle of the pace to be second best; Stratton trainee is a deserving favorite from the rail. (2) LEVINE isn't the winning type but from this spot he should land a piece. Race 3: 3-6YO Winners of 5-7 races or $90,000 LT Pace (5) TITO N CHEDDAR stepped up to this level last start after a blowout win and was a good second to #6. Tonight with the post advantage he'll have every opportunity to turn the tables. (2) ODDS ON NO LIMIT qualified nicely at Pocono with Lasix added and the Alexander trainee finished fourth in the Messesnger as a 3YO. (6) BOOKEM DANNO gets a new driver in Gingras, only faces five rivals but they all start to his left; may be hard to repeat. Race 4: 3-5YO Winners of 2-4 races or $60,000 LT Pace (5) STAY FOCUSED was a winner at Pocono in his seasonal debut then made his half-mile debut last week and broke; connections give him another try here and we're looking at a much healthier price. (3) TIN CUP CHALICE went well in his first start since last May and the lightly-raced 5YO may have more to offer. (4) CAPTAIN FEAR gets some post relief after passing a few in his local return. Race 5: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace (6) YS SENSATIONALCITY drew off after a solid off-the-pace rally last week and though the veteran faces a tougher task tonight I'm inclined to play her again, especially at a price. (3) MISS PERIGNON N finished third last out to better rivals and drops back to the level of her last two wins. (4) ATREACHEROUS A has already proven herself to be a serviceable $50K claimer after Lachance stepped her up off the reclaim. Mare can reach with a good trip. Race 6: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace (3) AVENGER FORCE just missed in a form-reversing effort last out as the pick at 13/1 and I'll give him another chance. (4) JAHAN HANOVER drops to the basement and finally draws a more realistic post; I expect Bongiorno to be firing to the front. (8) PYRO tired in his debut off the bench and he'll be a monster price tonight but he does have a ton of back class and maybe Dube can find a way to sneak him in there. Race 7: NW11221 in last 5 starts Pace (7) SKYLOU N is the latest import for the Blackler barn and he debuts off two sharp qualifiers. Considering how well these types tend to perform at first asking I'll look in his direction despite the poor post. (5) BLAZE ON N recently added Lasix and won easily in his local return; steps up looking to repeat. (2) CHURCHVIEWFRANKL IR has a poor win record over the last couple of years but he's hit the board in three of his last four. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8: F&M $25,000 Claiming Pace (2) MAYBEMABEL jogged in his local debut for a new barn and then the Adamczyk trainee did everything right but win next time out; co-owner Gingras is in the bike again tonight from an improved post. (3) VIBRANCE has little to offer last week at Pocono but was second here the start prior and the Burke trainee fits well here. (5) IDEAL SKIES was reclaimed by familiar connections at a significant discount last out and she's back with Marohn, who seems to get along well with her. Race 9: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace (4) ROCK THE BELLES gets much-needed post relief and faces a dreadful field; Daguet trainee is just 2 for 37 over the last two seasons but did bank almost $100K. (6) DELIGHTFUL TERROR drops out of $20K claimers and was a ten-time winner in 2025. New driver as Kakaley is in the bike. (1) COVERED BRIDGE makes his 10YO debut off a so-so qualifier at Pocono and the former stakes winner may be all washed up; I would love to see him race well but I'm only using him in the third or fourth spot.
