2025 MEET STATS: 45 - 146 / $283.80 (-$8.20) BEST BETS: 7 - 14 / $22.20 (-$5.80) BEST BET: PEMBROKE SOUTHIE (5th) SPOT PLAY: EUPHORIA N (9th) Race 1: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace (2) CANNERY ROW has hit the board in her last two at this level while not a serious threat but from another inside post some slight improvement can get her over the top. (4) FORTUNADA enters another new barn via claim and stays at the level she's most successful at; obvious contender again. (3) HOLYMOTHEROFMOSES is a fresh face arriving from Ohio and she was a consistent sort mostly at Northfield for a barn that is always competitive there; Gingras picks up the drive and we'll see how she fits. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: F&M $25,000 Claiming Pace (5) MORNING HAS BROKEN was quite underwhelming in two recent starts from the rail but she drops to face softer and she may be better off from a midpack post considering her general lack of early speed. (1) ROCKNROLL ANNIE didn't do much in the Pop-up series but now she's back at the level these connections claimed her for last month and she gets the red-hot Bartlett back in the bike. (2) WOODMERE HARRIET has raced well in her last few Yonkers efforts and she's back in for a tag here. Race 3: F&M $30,000 Claiming Pace (1) RACEY RACH N was rock-solid in the Pop-up prelims but got used too hard in the added-distance final and understandably tired. Should be a different scenario tonight where Holland can comfortably control things on the front end. (2) NIKASA N had also been going well prior to that 1 1/4 mile final and finds a good stalking spot here. (4) PINK RUBY upset in that series final and she's been competitive from on or off the pace; most likely coming from behind tonight and would be no surprise if she picked off the speed. Race 4: 3-6 YO NW 2-4 races or $60,000 LT Pace (6) RHYDS SUPERFLY GB lands outside some legit talent tonight but he's reeled off three straight here with ease and may just be a touch faster than these. (1) G A SPEED EXPERT is a fresh face from Canada who joins the Bongiorno barn and was on a big roll at Mohawk prior to finishing third in the Snowshoe final. (2) AYR CORLEON GB makes his Yonkers debut after three initial starts at The Meadowlands where he clearly showed some ability. Import may take some curiosity money here. Race 5: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace (1) PEMBROKE SOUTHIE will likely be hammered at the windows again and deservedly so as she goes for three straight. Trying to find some value underneath...maybe (8) CREME DELIGHT can somehow overcome the eight hole to enter contention. Burke mare is back in for a tag after a solid uncovered win last out. (2) AMBUSHED has three wins and two seconds since December and she can do it on or off the pace. Main threat to the top choice. Race 6: NW22046 in last 5 starts Pace (4) BONDI LOCKDOWN A has raced well in all recent starts, both here and at The Meadowlands; Lambert trainee gets a new pilot as Kakaley picks up the drive and he may be looking at a decent trip coming from midpack with some speedy sorts in here. (5) LYONS STEEL is feeling good again and this 10YO is loaded with back class; Tyler Miller jogged with him last start and comes across the river to drive again. (2) CURBSIDE PICKUP has won four straight at The Big M with Bartlett driving for the Bongiorno barn and this is a bit of a class test tonight. Race 7: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace (4) DUNKIN' raced great in his first start off the bench and now he faces easier from a much-improved post. $674K career earner for Clegg and trainer DiDomenico will be a deserving favorite here, but remember to keep an eye on him before the start as he's had issues behind the gate in the past. (1) STRENGTHFROMABOVE is up another notch in class tonight but he's been good in those last two local starts. (7) ALL ALONE was short on the front end last week but he did jog three back; it's a question of whether Bartlett can blast him from the gate to overcome the outside post. Race 8: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace (4) BENHOPE RULZ N kept up well last week to be third best to a couple of tough rivals and tonight's class drop can get this veteran import over the top. (3) LYRICAL GENIUS A also drops and gets much-needed post relief after being stuck in the seven hole his last three starts; should be a major player. (6) LOORIM LAKE A quietly qualified pretty well and makes his first start since last July. Bartlett drove in that qua and keeps the drive here; maybe has some late punch at a big price. Race 9: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace (6) EUPHORIA N gets a driver switch to Bartlett tonight and has been okay recently from tough spots. Wouldn't surprise me if he's more aggressively handled tonight. (1) ALEX TYE finished close from the pocket last week while boxed in and he gets another crack from the rail. Yannick gets the drive tonight and I think he's a legit player here. (4) JUDDY DOUGLAS A drops back down to the bottom and gets Holland tonight. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 10: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace Not sure what happened with (6) WILDCAT ANTONIA in her last pari-mutuel try but she came right back and won her qualifier comfortably. She's got a decent local history and should offer plenty of value in an otherwise shaky field. (2) HURRIKANE LORI ANN flashed good speed from the outside upon arrival from The Meadows and now she gets some solid post relief. (7) SALE EL SOL was reclaimed by DiDomenico and goes for three straight for those connections but all of her recent races have been from inside posts and now she has to navigate the seven hole. Mixed feelings, especially as one of the favorites. Race 11: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace (2) FREQUENT IMAGE had a nice view of the field last week from the eight hole but now figures to be much more involved with the move inside. Not much current form but hopeful the third try in the Alexander barn gets him moving. (1) CADILLAC BAYAMA has really fallen on hard times recently after the Lachance trainee had a big 2024 campaign. Maybe the drop to the bottom and rail draw is just what the doctor ordered. (6) BUGABOO LOU tries Gingras; maybe the fresh set of hands helps him out.
