MEET STATS: 43 - 139 / $204.50 (-$73.50) BEST BETS: 8 - 14 / $26.80 (-$1.20) Best Bet: RETOUR AU JEU (5th) Spot Play: FURIOUS BEACH (1st) Race 1: NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace (2) FURIOUS BEACH never got involved from the outside post upon arrival last week but he had hinted at ability in those recent Northfield starts and with the move inside he deserves a serious look. (1) PUMA was second best as the odds-on favorite last start and note this barn had a nice winner the other night. (4) ISSA HORSE is 0 for 39 and counting but he hits the board with regularity; new barn tonight. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: NW5000 in last 5 starts Trot (4) WATKINS hasn't done much recently but the 14-year-old has been facing better; he drops back to the NW5000 level looking to reach the $1 million earnings mark. Quite an accomplishment for this hard-hitter! (1) FREDDIE MAC moves all the way back inside and should be much more involved. (5) ESA ships in from the Meadowlands where he’s been facing better competition; trotter looks like a good fit here. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace (3) GRIFFON HANOVER took all the money but never got close when sent to the rim last week. This seems like a spot where Dube can get aggressive with him early. (4) CINNABAR DRAGON was also bet strongly last week but failed to fire; he gets Brennan in the bike tonight looking to show more. (5) ALTA LEROY N drops in class for the fourth consecutive start and the Lachance trainee shows a good second to Pat Stanley N just five races back. Race 4: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace (1) KIMANI N lands a cozy inside post in his local return and he does have a 1:52 1/5 local win here last season; Andrew Harris trainee gets Bartlett in the bike and is one of many options in this competitive race. (4) MARK WITHA K went from a basement dweller to the Open and back to the basement; he raced okay last week from an outside post and now he moves in a few slots. (7) BICORNE HANOVER had good late pace in his last two across the river for Team Bongiorno and perhaps he could be a closing threat here at a price. Race 5: NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace (3) RETOUR AU JEU was a very willing second with Lasix added in his seasonal debut; Stratton sticks with the Laterza trainee and he can certainly build off that effort. (2) ROGERTHAT BLUECHIP was a close-up second best from start to finish from a similar spot last out. (5) ROLLING WITH SAM stopped badly at The Meadowlands in his debut for the Burke barn; can he rebound here tonight? Race 6: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace (7) OUR MAX PHACTOR N raced pretty gamely in defeat last out at The Big M facing their NW7500 types and though three back he had a tough go of it from an outside post the Harris trainee is capable with these if he can get out of the gate in good order. (2) TREASURE MACH drops and moves back inside; he was second best last time at this level. (1) ABERDEEN HANOVER doesn't win all that often but he's usually a player when drawn well. Race 7: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace (3) IDEAL JIMMY was bet down to 4/1 from the eight hole last week, made no attempt to leave and sat last the entire mile; I have to believe he'll be more involved here with the post improvement. (1) BRONX SEELSTER finished with very willing pace last out, now drops and draws the innermost post; he'll be overbet but obviously has a huge shot to win this. (4) TIN ROOF RAIDER A is a bit inconsistent but one of his better efforts will land him a share. Race 8: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace (3) CENTURY ENDEAVOR gets Stratton in the bike tonight (with Lachance driving his own) and this gelding has done some good things here in the past. (6) GLACIS rallied to be second best last week versus NW10000's and now gets to drop a notch but he needs to avoid being too far back. (8) ORILLIA JOE also gets class relief and is stuck outside; does Zeron try blasting? [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 9: NW6 races or $75,000 lifetime Pace (4) REIGNING DEO gave it a shot leaving last week after a series of late-rallying efforts but he needed to show more late; Pelling trainee fits well with these and Marohn has some tactical options from this spot. (6) GENIUS MAN should be forwardly placed again and that makes him a player. (3) MCMIKE is quickly earning a reputation as a money-burner and the Burke trainee figures to be heavily bet again. Race 10: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace (4) IDEAL STAR N tried to rally wide facing better last week but failed to threaten on a night where not much was closing; prior couple of starts he showed a strong closing kick; Kakaley gets the drive tonight and appears capable with a live trip. (2) BETTORS FIRE N hasn't been great this season but has hardly been "bad" either; inside post should make this veteran a player. (5) ONE OFF DELIGHT A sat in traffic last week; drop in class helps.
