BEST BETS: 8 - 10 / $23.70 (+$3.70)
Best Bet: ESCAPETOTHEBEACH (3rd)
Spot Play: BARRYWHITE HANOVER (4th)
Race 1: 2-5YO NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace
(8) OAKWOOD VEGAS IR burned money in two local appearances back in January but the recent import got it done in solid fashion last out at The Meadowlands; Burke trainee has the speed to overcome the poor post. (5) COALFORD BYTHESEA jogged at Monti for the Harmon barn and the Ohio bred by way of Great Britain seems ready to take the next step forward. (7) TWO FACED rallied sharply from off the pace in his two races here but needs to find some early foot to improve position off the gate

Race 2: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
(1) CHUPPAH ON returns from an extended holiday break off a winning qualifier at Freehold and she looks like the controlling speed from this spot. (3) BETTER WATCH IT had finished second at this level in three of her last five, including last week's good rally. (4) BALFAST N never got involved last out but was second best her two prior starts.

Race 3: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) ESCAPETOTHEBEACH was sent to the front as expected on last week's dropdown and got the job done; veteran steps up a notch but figures to have a clear path to the lead again and is classy enough to repeat. (6) HICKFROMFRENCHLICK has left the gate in all recent starts with mixed results but if he can get a nice spot near the front he can hit the ticket at a price. (5) VELOCITY KOMODO was a winner when last at this level but he had it all his own way from the rail; he'll have to work a bit harder to get it done here.
Race 4: $15,000 Claiming Pace
(3) BARRYWHITE HANOVER seems to have found a home at this level and the Devita trainee has been knocking at the door with three straight runner-up efforts. (4) UNICO LEGEND N always hinted at a bit of ability and he finally put it together at a big price when Bartlett surprisingly sent him to the front; he can repeat, but if you missed him at 32/1 are you going to bet him as the 9/5 early choice? (5) MUSCLE MACH A hails from good connections but needs to show a bit more.
Race 5: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) THE REGULATOR drops to the lowest level he's seen in some time and he figures to be controlling the action at a short price. (5) REAL PEACE ships in for Burke off an improved effort last out at The Meadowlands and he should be a good fit here. (1) OUR MAJORDAN A was overmatched last week but fits better at this level; he's got speed from the rail and figures to protect position early and set up a trip.
Race 6: 3-6YO NW6 races or $75,000 lifetime Pace
(3) HEART OF DIXIE swept impressively two back and followed that up with a solid effort to be second to #4 in here. He's got a post edge on his main rivals and is worth a try on top. (4) A ROCKNROLL STAR has done nothing wrong in all recent outings and is a deserving favorite going for three straight. (8) JAY BRACKEN A faces tougher here and is stuck all the way outside but the recent import clearly has some upside and should be included.
Race 7: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(6) PEACE OUT POSSE has been stuck facing better in all recent local efforts and he was a winner the last time at this level; Siegelman gets the catch drive tonight on the Jenn Bongiorno trainee and he's a bit tempting at his 15/1 morning line in this competitive affair. (2) DELIGHTFUL TERROR went a rough trip last week facing $75K claimers but still managed to last for a board spot. Post and class relief makes this Gillis trainee a player. (4) GENIUS MAN figures to be firing early with Braxton Boyd.
Race 8: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
(5) MILLWOOD BONNIE N was an odds-on winner at this level last start after returning from Ohio and Gingras is in the bike again; expect aggressive handling. (2) LINE EM UP never got involved in her last two from tough spots but she gets needed post relief and will be looking for a trip. (3) LADY DELA RENTA A bounced back from a poor effort with a better one last week, where she snuck in there from third at a big price.
Race 9: 3-6YO NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace
(4) BLACK EDITION N was never close in his U.S. debut but he gets post improvement here in a spot where the import can clearly show more; watch the board and will-pays. (8) AMERICAN FRONTIER raced well from the seven hole last start; expect an alert leave again with Bartlett. (1) SUNSHINE LOVE invades from Canada and joins the Andrew Harris barn; one knock is that he's just 2 for 23 lifetime but he was racing well over the half at Western Fair.

Race 10: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) BARON MICHAEL has been reasonably competitive facing $40K claimers in his recent Yonkers races and he was a winner at that level back in December with Holland driving; veteran gelding should go well here. (2) INDICTABLE HANOVER drops to the bottom, moves back inside, has Bartlett driving again for a high-percentage barn; obviously logical but will be overbet. (1) IM A POWERPLAY gets Lachance in the bike again for his owner Dauplaise and draws all the way inside. He figures to save ground for a share.
Race 11: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) LUCIANO N has been live in all recent races at this level and the classy veteran still brings solid speed to the table; worth a try in a race with very questionable favorites. (2) PURPLE POET drops out of $50K claimers which makes him an instant contender. (1) KEYSTONE DASH really fell apart towards the end of 2022 but he's back off a nice winning qualifier and also faces softer here.
