Race 1: NW16901 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) SPEED MAN N has too many near-misses to count over the last couple of years. Classy speedster was big in defeat last Monday after missing five weeks of action. (5) JAHAN HANOVER gets major class relief after being in with Covered Bridge last week and tough ones in all prior starts. (7) PRICELESS BEACH fired off cover in his 2024 debut for the sharp Bako outlet but outside post while facing better buts him in a tough spot.

Race 2: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace
No mystery to (2) FEELIN RED HOT's game. Maybe the five weeks off did her some good. (5) BRONZE OVER N was put on the front last week and dug in to win; Stratton trainee is clearly capable of repeating, this time from off the pace. (1) SUNSET SOPH picks up Bartlett tonight and clearly needs a better start.

Race 3: 2-5YO NW3 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace
(3) TRAIN STATION was relegated to the pocket in that 3-horse affair last week and the winner (4) ISHOTTHESHERIFF GB was able to rate kindly. With the post reversals maybe the results change as well. (1) FORWARD LOOK is an interesting 4YO first-time starter who has looked good in two Dover qualifiers, but those were over a month ago. I suspect a conservative effort is coming here.
Race 4: NW11841 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) KARLOO BRADLEY N drops in class for the fourth consecutive start and the Bako trainee gets Kalaley back in the bike. This is a more-than-manageable spot but will very likely be favored. (2) HICKFROMFRENCHLICK also faces softer as the Schnittker trainee makes his 8YO debut; threat if ready. (1) ANOTHERSTATEMENT A had a troubled trip heading to the final turn last week; prior efforts seem to give him a chance here, especially from the inside post.
Race 5: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
(3) GOLDEN QUEST N is coming off a big 2023 season and the mare closed in willingly last week coming off the bench. Veteran always seems to draw outside so the three hole here makes her very enticing. (5) GET ANSWERS rolled down the road and almost lasted in her local return for the Burke barn; Gingras figures to be moving early again. (2) TERACITA bumped back up to the $50s after dominating the $20's and finished well after being uninvolved most of the way; major post relief.
Race 6: F&M $25,000 Claiming Pace
(4) LOOOKATMYART was a distant second at a big price to a runaway in her seasonal debut and that was a solid turnaround from her prior form; mare seems to be trending in the right direction and always offers value. (2) PINK RUBY steps up a bit in price off a nice grinding win and draws well again. (5) ALWAYS B MIMI goes from Engblom to Alexander via claim; Kakaley now drives.
Race 7: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace
(6) TUAPIKA JESSIE N gave it a good speed try from out of the eight hole last week and the Engblom trainee is clearly the one to beat here. (2) WINDSUN MOJITO raced okay in one start here last December and followed that up with a couple of live efforts at The Meadowlands; Stratton trainee seems to fit well here and should be a player from this spot. (3) GOLDEN LEADER lands a much better post and I can see Chindano Jr. getting aggressive.
Race 8: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
I think (1) LOU'S SWEETREVENGE has a bit of a class edge on these and should find a way to get it done. (2) OCEAN RIDGE N didn't have a ton to offer upon arrival but his prior form was good and he's coming off a big season with 17 wins and almost $150K banked. Bartlett drives tonight. (6) BRAEVIEW BONDI A was off over six weeks and likely needed last week's start. He's better a class or two down but maybe he can slide into the number at a price.
Race 9: 3-6YO winners of 3-5 races or $60,000 lifetime Pace
(6) CAPTAIN MAX HENRY is perfect in two local starts for the Burke team and I could see him having another class or two in him. Should offer more value than the logical (2) ALL ALONE, who has been right there in all recent starts out of town for Engblom and Bartlett is familiar with him. (7) VICI is another talented 4YO in here but drawing outside of the top choice could make things a bit tricky for him.

Race 10: NW22941 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) CRANBOURNE N took money into Semi Tough last week and rolled down the road. I'm thinking he's sharp enough to repeat. (2) FUNATTHEBEACH N steps up after winning in his local return but the class hike won't be a problem. The favorite? (3) HEMSWORTH N was bet to even money last week and got going too late; Bako trainee gets post relief and is another player in this solid race.
Race 11: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
(4) SHEIKH YABOOTY N dominated in two straight since moving to the Jenn Bongiorno barn and must be followed. (3) SUGAR BRITCHES has been sizzling hot since coming to Yonkers for Engblom and she's won in a variety of ways. Only concern is the stale date as she hasn't raced since Dec. 19. (1) MC ANGEL has been a check-earning machine for the Forte barn; new driver tonight in Gingras.
