2025 MEET STATS: 391 - 1272 / $2,243.82 (-$300.18) BEST BETS: 65 - 123 / $209.96 (-$36.04) BEST BET: YS SENSATIONALCITY (4th) SPOT PLAY: PRINTVILLE (9th) Race 1: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace (3) DISARONNO HILL was a strong wire-to-wire winner from a similar spot last week and figures to be left alone on the front end again. (8) STONECOLD GIRL draws a rare outside post but I still expect her to be moving forward; if she lands somewhere in the top four off the gate she'll land a good piece. (1) BOUT DAMN TIME A was no match to the top one last start and figures underneath again. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: 2-5YO NW2 races or $30,000 LT Pace (1) STARE ME DOWN moves back into a NW2 field after the 3YO faced more experienced foes in straight claimers his last two and almost won them both. Alexander trainee figures to be aggressive early from the pole position. (4) QUOTE ME NOT N has been right there in every start where he's drawn well and he was very generously written into this race, like the top connections need any help. Likely favorite. (5) ONEFORTHEROAD GB has just one U.S. start and it was almost a month ago; obviously the Tritton trainee has talent but I'll wait for a better spot before jumping on board. Race 3: 2-5YO Winners of 2-4 races or $60,000 LT Pace (2) CAPTAIN FEAR finished close to the logical winner from a similar spot last week and the 3YO Fanning trainee has Holland again and is overdue for some winning action. (1) THIS JK ROCKS switches to Bartlett tonight and the Engblom trainee lands the rail. Hard not to include. (5) BOXER SEELSTER is very likely ready to roll for Lachance making his third local start after arriving from Canada; would not surprise me at all. Race 4: F&M $30,000 Claiming Pace (1) YS SENSATIONALCITY has to win one of these weeks, doesn't she? Mare was no match for #2 her last two starts, but that one enters a new barn tonight so maybe it's time to flip the script. (2) ATREACHEROUS A has won five of six in decisive fashion and if there was a reason to look elsewhere it's because of the ability to maintain her form for new connections. (4) TOBAGO TIME gets an important driver change and she's loaded with class but hasn't functioned in three starts for this barn after last month's claim. Race 5: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace I would normally think that recent import (3) IMTHEBLACKFLASH N would be an automatic selection moving up in class off his debut win but he does face some legit talent here. I'm still on board. (4) SOHO DOW JONES A has been facing tons better and has held his own; takes a big drop in class and returns to the leading driver. (2) RENALDO N took a month off after finally tasting defeat but the Shane and Lauren Tritton trainee looks ready for major action off that Big M qualifier. Race 6: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace (2) PRYO is always a player at the $40K claiming level when drawn well and now he's down at a lower conditioned class; veteran gets the call. (6) MAJORCROWDCONTRL A switches to Bartlett and drops a level making his second North American start for the Dilloian Jr. barn. (1) BENHOPE RULZ N is a frequent board-hitter but doesn't win all that often. Hard not to include from this spot, but not on top. Race 7: F&M $25,000 Claiming Pace (5) STORMY SERENA took a shot up in class last out but drops back to the level she's most successful at, and with the post edge on another early speed player in here she deserves a chance on top at a better price. (6) DISTANT LOVER paid $2.10 last week, probably pays $4.00 if she repeats. (3) CREME DELIGHT returned from Saratoga last out, dropped in for a tag and found the pocket at 47/1, finishing second in a good effort. Can be considered off that effort despite her poor local win record. Race 8: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace (3) MISS PERIGNON N has been a great fit at this $50K claiming level and the Alexander 4YO is in a good spot to stalk likely pacesetter #1 and roll by late. (1) ACCESS GRANTED was outfinished in the late stages in her last two and gets another crack from the rail. (4) REC TIME returns from a stint at Hoosier and she's got a couple of local wins this season. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9: NW11211 in last 5 starts Pace (1) PRINTVILLE deserves a look from the rail tonight after having four awful posts in his last four races; Stratton trainee's one inside post over the last two months resulted in a win. (6) SOHO SANTORINI A takes a needed drop in class and the Dilloian Jr. import figures to be a major player. (5) ON ACCIDENT finally picked up a win vs. one notch lower and he remains a board threat back up at this level. Race 10: 2-5YO Winners of 5-7 races or $90,000 LT Pace (5) STERLING CHOICE goes for five straight wins since arriving at Yonkers and the $350K-winning 3YO gets another free ride at this level. He's 3/5 on the ML and deservedly so. (2) DREAMBOAT HANOVER has looked good recently out of town for these connections and he may be the most likely one to put a scare into the top choice. (4) MATAI PHIL N was third best last week at a price, why not again? Race 11: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace It's unusual seeing a Burke trainee be a non-factor over his last handful of starts but the last time (7) JM'S FINALTREASURE was at Yonkers at one of these lower levels he went wire-to-wire from the seven hole. (1) FAMILY RECIPE has made plenty of money here over the years without winning often; veteran is in another spot to pick up a nice piece. (2) WATTSUP SUNSHINE A was much-improved last start when adding Bartlett and now he drives again while drawing well down in class again. So many positives, so little value.
