Race 1: F&M NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace

(3) UNSTOPPABLE HALL has looked like a new horse since Greg Merton took over the driving duties and the filly goes for four straight tonight. (1) AMERICAN CHANCE rallied gamely but just couldn't reach last out; she’s been racing well overall but is 0-for-14 and counting. (2) P L NELLY sat a loose pocket and finished evenly last start; she figures to be close to the pace again and can land a piece.

Race 2: NW5000 in last 5 starts Trot

(6) ABBIE’S CELTICLASS ships in coming off a brush-and-crush win at a comparable class at Philly and Kakaley picks up the drive; she's drawn outside her main competition here but that should help her price. (5) RACEACE fits well here and figures to be on the move early. (2) ADAGIO DE LA TOUR hasn't shown much recently but at least he's drawn well and the veteran could land a share at a price.

Race 3: NW5000 in last 5 starts Trot

(3) WATKINS has been racing well enough to win in all of his recent efforts but the veteran has been unable to break through; could tonight be the night? (5) LADY EAGLE drops for the fourth consecutive start after giving way under pressure last week. (2) CON AIR HALL will be close to the pace from this spot but he needs to show much more late; use underneath.

Race 4: F&M NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace

(3) KOTARE YARRA N has been racing decently enough with a bit better recently at The Meadowlands to suggest she'll fit perfectly here. (2) BYE BYE MICHELLE worked her way up to the Open ranks but has now fallen back to the basement; veteran should be able to awaken here. (8) FOX VALLEY CHARLIZ has been on a major roll up at Monticello since the Matthew Adamczyk claim and she gives Yonkers a shot but is stuck all the way outside.

Race 5: NW7500 in last 5 starts Trot

(3) POUND STERLING gave it an aggressive try upon arrival before tiring in the stretch drive while facing a notch better. Spagnola trainee can build off that effort. (4) GETTING MESSI is more than capable with this type and he should be a big player here assuming he's ready off the layoff. (2) DIRTY SECRET was no match for the winning longshot Cyclone Maximus last out and settled for second best at odds-on; mare should be in the thick of things again.

Race 6: F&M NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace

(4) OFF THE PRESS is fresh stock from Canada for Andrew Harris and she qualified quite effectively at The Meadowlands. Filly earned over $100K as a freshman so obviously the talent is there. (5) DONEGALARTCHOKIN N gave way with little excuse last week when put on the front end; recent import may be better from off the pace. (1) MAJOR NIGHT OUT tripped out to win her last and she lands the pole position again.

Race 7: NW7500 in last 5 starts Trot

(1) TOTAL DIVA has had her moments here in the past and she seems capable of a mild upset with smooth sailing. (3) CRAZYCAT lands in a much better spot tonight and seems like the one to beat, assuming he minds his manners. (2) CLARION HALL was completely empty last week but his prior coulple of efforts versus this type were good.

Race 8: F&M NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace

(2) MOUTH WATERING has been first or second in her last six starts and has done it with a variety of drivers; she returns locally looking for three straight overall and gets Kakaley in the bike. (5) PAIGE'S GIRL raced well last week but probably should have won; obvious contender from live connections. (8) SOMEBEACHSOMEFRA was game in defeat last out at Philly and raced well here last month; eight hole is a serious problem however as she hasn't shown much gate speed.

Race 9: NW10000 in last 5 starts Trot

(4) MUSCLE AVE chased uncovered last start as the 3/5 favorite but could not get to the well-rated leader in that stepped-up back half; I'll give him a chance to rebound with the post edge on main rival (5) KINDA LUCKY LINDY. The latter just missed in last and is clearly knocking on the door here. (2) SECRET BRO gets both needed class and post relief.

Race 10: F&M NW6 races or $75,000 lifetime Pace

(1) DEMETER N has taken two straight at odds-on and the import has shown serious talent and versatility since arriving; Harris trainee is clearly the one to beat in the finale. (5) JK FINENDANDY was nipped at the wire by the sharp trip-sitter last week; Bongiorno is back driving and they'll be firing from the gate. (2) NORTH STAR IDEAL qualified well and the erratic mare is certainly fast enough as evidenced by her 1:53 4/5 win here back in August.
