Race 1: NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace

(2) ULTIMAROCA has had a nice 3-year-old campaign with well over six figures in earnings despite only three wins. He arrives from The Meadowlands for Burke and looks perfectly spotted here; short price looming. (4) NORTHERN NETWORK has been pretty good since arriving for Laterza and though he tired on the lead last start he'll be stalking tonight and can add some value underneath. (1) MUDVILLE comes out of the same series of races as the top one but has looked overmatched from outside posts, and the last time we saw him at Yonkers he stopped badly. Use caution.

Race 2: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace

(5) WHOS BETTER freshened up with that recent qualifier at Monticello and he's been successful with better than these in the past. (1) ROLLING WITH SAM gets class and post relief for Burke, and Gingras picks up the drive. (2) ZACH MAGUIRE N is 0 for 25 and counting this year but he's in a good spot to save ground and hit the bottom of the ticket.

Race 3: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace

(1) SO MANY ROADS has been paying the bills recently picking up small shares while facing better. Lachance trainee drops a notch and moves all the way inside. (3) RETOUR AU JEU qualified effectively after about a month on the sidelines and he's hinted at ability. (2) ODDS ON DELRAY does have plenty of back class but he's never been the most reliable sort.

Race 4: $12,500 Claiming Pace

(6) TEXAS TERROR N has been super since returning to action and the classy teenager is tough to go against. (8) HAGGARD has been much-improved since changing barns and though he lands the worst post in his local return he seems capable with these given some trip luck and he'll be a big price. (4) MR D'S DRAGON showed some improvement last start at The Big M when he exited the amateurs and Yannick drove.

Race 5: NW2 races or $25,775 lifetime Pace

(1) IMOUTTHEDOOR is the latest in a long line of Iowa fair circuit horses to make their way to the East coast and this guy is 9 for 10 on the season; expect good things. (4) MIDNIGHT REBEL has been right there in all recent for the Jenn Bongiorno barn; logical chalk. (2) LINCOLN BOULEVARD gets post relief in his second local start for Harris and could show more.

Race 6: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace

(2) BRAEVIEW BONDI A put it all together last start and blasted down the road in 1:51 2/5; he faces some legit rivals here on the bump in class but the Erv Miller trainee could be up to the task. (3) ON THE CARDS N was second best from the pocket last week and the Burke trainee has solid early speed. (6) ARTFUL WAY has been successful here in the past versus Open-type horses but may face an uncertain trip from the outside post unless Bartlett can fire and clear the field into the turn.

Race 7: NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace

(1) SAMSON BLUE CHIP rebounded nicely last week from that debacle the start prior; excusing that blip the pacer has been a model of consistency. (2) HIGH BALLER arrives from The Meadowlands for Noel Daley and he's been live in that tough NW5 class there; we'll see how he handles the half-mile track. (4) SETH HANOVER graduates to NW4 and he could have more to offer in his third start since moving to the Burke barn.

Race 8: NW6 races or $75,000 lifetime Pace

(1) VEL MR NICE GUY could not overcome last week's tough trip after easily disposing of his rivals the prior two starts; he's got a new trainer listed tonight (days for DiDomenico?) but I'll assume that won't slow him down any. (6) LAUGHAGAIN HANOVER has just one win on the season but he's grinded out over $100K; he was a decent second last week upon arrival. (5) CANTSTOPLYING was a strong off-the-pace winner upon arrival from Canada but has been unable to replicate that effort; he gets a new driver tonight in Bartlett and maybe that helps.

Race 9: NW8 races or $100,000 lifetime Pace

(4) SOUTHWIND PETYR finally found the winning spot last week and was able to capitalize with an odds-on wire-to-wire score; he bumps to NW8 but may not find these any tougher. (2) IMAGINARY LINE disappointed last out as the favorite and the Jenn Bongiorno finds a good spot to rebound. (3) IDEAL ARTILLERY always seems to finish well and the post improvement should help.

Race 10: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace

(1) ALL HANDS ON DECK saw his modest winning streak snapped last week when he was stuck outside but he did close willingly for a small share; from this spot the Team Bongiorno trainee should have a tactical advantage on main rival (5) NO LOU ZING. The latter's talent is well-documented but I'm pretty sure he's never been on the half before and that makes me a bit nervous. (4) IMSTAYINGALIVE was probably a bit overmatched at the $100K claiming level; Lachance can save ground and pick up a piece.

Race 11: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace

(2) MORNING HAS BROKEN was last seen here in a NW5000 (where she finished third twice from tough spots) but since then she's been on a roll at The Meadowlands. Daley trainee seems like she'll be a good fit at this level, where nobody seems to stand out. (5) CLASSY CHAPEL N didn't get involved last week but she was a pocket-sitting winner three back from a similar spot with Stratton driving. (7) BOLT OF BEAUTY has been rock-solid in her last three local tries but she's got to overcome the tough post tonight.
