Race 1: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace

(6) TOBAGO TIME has found things quite comfortable at this level as she's taken two of three on the front end. Bartlett drives again and figures to be firing to the lead. (1) NUTTINBUTTHEBEST also wired similar last start and is the clear main threat, and likely favorite. (3) LADY DELA RENTA A was pressed into the ground last out and faded to last but he prior two starts from off the pace were solid; she'll probably be away third or fourth and is a candidate to hit the beard.

Race 2: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace

(1) SOHO LENNON A is clearly feeling good again and the ageless wonder is wrapping up another profitable season; he's the controlling speed from this spot. (6) JUDDY DOUGLAS A missed time with a sick scratch yet still just missed in his second U.S. try; import clearly has talent and could have more to offer as he faces better. (2) CHANTEE has been a solid earner for Lachance since arriving from Canada and he's finished in under :28 in all four local starts.

Race 3: 2-5YO NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace

(3) ALLSTAR CHEDDAR arrives from Mohawk Park into the Stafford barn, which has had success with these types in the past. 2-year-old has missed a bit of time but has shown flashes of talent in limited starts and is worth a look if the price is okay. (6) HEART OF DIXIE closed from last to second with Lasix added in his second local start and obviously can improve off of that. (2) HURRIKANE MON AMI finished third the last two weeks from similar spots.

Race 4: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace

(1) BETTER WATCH IT just missed when starting from the rail two back and last start she understandably leveled off after grinding into contention. I have a feeling Dube puts her on the front end tonight. (3) CHUPPAH ON hasn't won in a couple of months but she's always right there; obvious main threat to the top choice. (5) IN LOU OF MONEY returns to Yonkers after blowing the field away at Monti and she meets better here as she's dropped in for a tag but she could carve out a piece with a smooth trip.

Race 5: NW20471 in last 5 starts Pace

(2) JACK'S LEGEND N gets needed post relief and faces softer as well as he was basically written into this race; recent addition to the Travis Alexander barn was a Borgata finalist earlier this year and does look best here. (3) RAU RU had nothing to offer in a local start a couple of months back but he's turned things around recently at Philly; Bartlett gets the drive for the Cullipher barn. (1) THE WILD CARD drops in class, draws best and picks up Gingras; assuming it's business as usual in Burkeland he has a legit chance.

Race 6: 3-5YO NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace

(2) LET'S GET ROCKED never got close last week at The Meadowlands but his prior form at Pocono was competitive; late-blooming 3YO gets Holland in the bike from a good inside starting spot. (1) BETTOR ROLL ON A was a pocket-sitting winner from a similar spot last out; logical. (8) BOUNTY HUNTER is the most accomplished of these but needs to overcome post eight.

Race 7: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace

(4) SAULSBROOK HERO drops a notch in class and was actually favored against better two back; he can charge home with the right setup. (3) AMERICAN BOY N rallied crisply in his last couple and the classy 11-year-old is still competitive. (2) ELWELL seems to have tailed off after a very successful season though he does drop and draw well so it's entirely possible he wins this.

Race 8: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace

(6) NOWHERE CREEK A has shown improvement in his last three after dropping from the high-priced claimers and he does face some shaky-looking favorites in here; gelding was Stratton's choice over the logical #1 horse. (3) CAPTIVATE HANOVER has been okay since moving to Burke; Gingras gets the drive in his local return. (7) HEISMAN PLAYER dropped to the basement and was a winner in what was hopefully a confidence-building victory; post seven doesn't help, though he was able to get out of the gate well in that recent win.

Race 9: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace

(2) MACH N CHEESE isn't the most consistent horse out there but he lands a cozy post and figures to be close to the action with Holland driving. Worth a look if he's around 10/1 or so. (4) BB LUCKY BOY disposed of NW6 types at five cents on the dollar and prior to that he won for fun in 1:49 1/5 at Pocono. 3-year-old faces much more seasoned foes here but he seems fast enough and Kakaley sticks with him over a Travis Alexander trainee. (3) CRUNCH HANOVER gets both class and post relief and a switch to Bartlett.

Race 10: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace

(2) BIG BOSS HILL is just 1 for 28 on the year but he's been decent lately at Pocono and Philly facing perhaps a bit better than what he sees here; Braxton is back driving from a good post. (4) SIMPLE KINDA MAN has been third best in his last three and is knocking on the door. (5) LUC ROCKS returns locally for Bongiorno and could be a speed player here.
