2023 MEET STATS: 459 - 1293 / $2,374.10 (-$211.90) BEST BETS: 67 - 122 / $218.90 (-$25.10) BEST BET: TERACITA (4th) SPOT PLAY: GOLDEN QUEST N (3rd) Race 1: NW16161 in last 5 start Pace (4) BOILING OAR moves to trainer Alexander via $40K claim and overall he's been racing reasonably well. Maybe barn change give him a little extra push to get it done. (8) COACHES CORNER gets another free ride in this class as he meets the AE condition. With his early speed the eight hole may not pose a serious problem. (3) HEAVEN ON HIGH N finally gets a reasonable post and he drops to a more competitive level; definitely worth a look at 15/1 ML. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace As usual (3) FEELIN RED HOT is 50/50 to make it to the wire, so I guess his likely odds-on price is an underlay. This is a particularly soft field so she'll get it done. (1) LADYBELUCKYTONITE gets Bartlett tonight and figures to sit the trip. (2) CARBON CIDER gets needed post relief for Chindano. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace (6) GOLDEN QUEST N hasn't been a major player recently but she's proven at this level and faces mostly stale rivals who haven't won in a while. Veteran does leave the gate on occasion. (1) MIKI ROSE is another proven winner at this level and finally draws an inside post. (4) PURAMERI consistently hits the board, but 7/5 ML? Race 4: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace (2) TERACITA has taken her last two in convincing fashion and stays at a winning level; hard to go against. (1) BLUEBIRD GRAF and (3) AINTNOHOLLABACKGRL figuring to be fighting it out underneath. Race 5: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace (4) LOVE THAT SMILE has been much-improved in her last couple and she draws a reasonable post here looking for a trip at a price. (7) SALE EL SOL overcame the same post last start so it's not impossible for her to repeat, but there is speed inside of her which can make things more difficult. (6) LINE EM UP was overbet last out and didn't deliver; now the Bongiorno trainee will offer value. Race 6: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace (3) SWEET SANDY LOU draws better tonight and she beat this type three back when starting from the rail. Gillis trainee is more than capable here facing some shaky foes. (6) TUAPEKA JESSIE N was a winner first out the Engblom claim then broke last start, now is back in for $20K. Capable, but faces an uncertain trip. (2) SPORTS FLIX is hard to ignore coming from these connections but she's been disappointing lately. Race 7: 3-5YO NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace (1) OAKWOOD PADDY IR has been in fine form and is clearly the one to defeat here, but not much of a price looming. Maybe find value with (6) CLEVELAND B MIKI underneath, who really hasn't done anything wrong in recent memory while showing some versatility for Lachance. (2) VICTOR CRUISE will be close up but needs more late. Race 8: NW15000 in last 5 start Pace (3) ADAM TWELVE has been a dominating force recently and is another on the card looking at a free ride in the same class, as he fits the NW9 lifetime condition. (1) BUDDY HILL has class to him and looks like the main threat as he gets much-needed post relief. (2) ORLANDO BLUE A got along well with Holland last week and now steps up a notch off that win. Erv Miller trainee figures to be in the hunt to complete chalky exotics. Race 9: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace (3) PLZDONTLIETOME N finished well last week and looks to be trending in the right direction. Jordan drives again for brother Cory and could be a decent price. (1) DREAM DANCING moves all the way in to the rail in her second start at this reduced level; logical. (4) ROLL WITH SHORTY has been on some roll at Monti having won six straight so the mare returns to Yonkers to race for much more money. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 10: NW20101 in last 5 start Pace (7) ENERGETIC HANOVER was razor-sharp upon arrival and deserves to be followed up despite the poor post. (4) JACK'S LEGEND N is up again in class off a loss but does get a slightly better post to work with; he's got tons of back class and is closing in on a million in the bank. (3) TYPHOON BANNER N has missed almost a month of action, otherwise he fits right in with these. Race 11: NW10000 in last 5 start Pace (4) ALADDIN makes his third start for Lachance after arriving from Canada and he showed forward progress last out. Tonight he drops into a better spot and may be ready to show more. (1) BLANK STARE gets needed class relief and picks up Bartlett over an Engblom trainee. Probable favorite here but hasn't been the most prolific winner over the last couple of seasons. (5) DELIGHTFUL DUDE takes a needed drop in class and figures to be more involved.
