Best Bet: CAN B PERFECT (10th)
Spot Play: CAVIART CHERIE (7th)
Race 1: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
(2) BALFAST N has been a steady presence at this level and usually races as good as she draws, so from this inside post Siegelman should be able to work out a favorable trip. (1) DRAGONS LUCKY LADY was in a bit tough last week but managed to pick up a small check; she was a sharp pocket-sitting winner two back when in for this tag and the mare is the one to beat here. (6) CHUPPAH ON has hit the board in her last six races and she can go from on or off the pace; with some speed to her inside she may be looking at an off-the-pace trip.

Race 2: NW5026 in last 5 starts Pace
In a race with practically zero current form, (5) CODYS KNAPSACK was overmatched in her first two starts for Garcia-Herrera after coming over from the Burke barn but the 3-year-old gets class relief and a venue change. Midpack post gives Dube some options. (4) BIG BOSS HILL shipped in last start and finished third; Boyd drives again and can hit the ticket again. (3) ODDS ON PICK SIX went a rugged trip last out and held well. That was facing better and he was actually the favorite that night but he's now missed time with a sick scratch; don't accept too short of a price.

Race 3: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) TAKE A GAMBLE has been solid since shipping from Canada to join the Bako barn and he looks like the controlling speed with Bongiorno on the return drive. (3) ULTIMAROCA hasn't been successful in recent Yonkers outings but the Burke trainee does get some needed class relief. (8) STOP STARING has been climbing the class ladder since arriving locally and he was a winner at this level last week; the post is brutal but he does fit with these and will be a healthy price.
Race 4: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace
(6) MR DS ROCK showed his class last week when he grinded out a game win versus a notch lesser. Bump up the ladder shouldn't be a problem for this Travis Alexander trainee. (2) THEFLYINGROCK gets some much-needed post relief and figures to be part of the early pace scenario. (3) TOWNLINE ALL GOOD hasn't done a whole lot since being claimed for $40K but he did pick up checks in three consecutive starts and now he drops in class with Boyd returning for the drive.
Race 5: 2-5YO NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace
(5) THORN TOAD clearly has talent as evidenced by his 9 wins and over $100K earned this year, mainly in Michigan. This seems like a good spot to finally get untracked. (8) HE'S SPECIAL would arguably be the favorite had he drawn inside, so why not consider at 20/1 from the eight hole? (3) FUN MUNKY can hit the board with a smooth trip.
Race 6: 3-5YO NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace
(4) MIND HUNTER arrives from Philly and makes his debut for the Engblom barn; though just 1 for 14 on the season he's been right there on a number of occasions and picking up the leading driver won't hurt. (1) PREMIER DREAMER was improved last week when dropping into this condition and his tactical speed should work well departing from the rail. (5) BRUMBY was outfinished in the late stages last start but it was an improved effort; Stratton is back driving for his brother.
Race 7: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
(2) CAVIART CHERIE has proven to be a live fit with this grouping, especially when drawn inside; mare gets Siegelman to drive again and she'll hopefully work out a pocket trip where she can be most effective. (3) PAIGE'S GIRL also gets post improvement and Braxton Boyd gets the drive; she was a winner two back. (5) NUTTINBUTHEBEST fizzled on the front last start but wired the field the start prior; maybe Brennan is a good fit for her speed.
Race 8: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) KILOWATT KID N was clearly much the best at Freehold last week as he was sent off at 50 cents on the dollar; sharp sort should fit well here. (1) ONE OFF DELIGHT A drops for the fourth consecutive start desperately looking for a wakeup call; inside draw helps. (2) DESIRE'S CAPTAIN also faces softer and moves back inside.

Race 9: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(6) ROLLING WITH SAM is best a level or two down but he hails from live connections and he's got some speed at his disposal; price should be right. (2) BAD TOTHE BONE N had a decent acclimating mile last week and could have more to offer. (4) WALKINSHAW N gets some post relief and switches back to Marohn, who has done well with him.
Race 10: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(6) CAN B PERFECT has been facing much better than what he sees tonight, and he's had some success at the higher levels in the past. Holland will hopefully find a way to get him home. (1) GINGRAS BEACH was not involved until the late stages last week; needs to be closer for his best chance. (2) PINEBUSH LIFESAVER doesn't win often but always picks up a check; Bartlett drives again and he's more than capable of hanging around to hit the ticket.
